It was really great to see that the kids got to get involved and drive a tractor. That’s how you get them interested in things like this and potentially be some of the youngsters that keep things like this going in the future.
You need to check the flow rate on the injectors, and get the ECM tuned for the cam and injectors.

Install an air pressure regulator for a paint gun off the cylinders head for pressure sensor. Emodel cat ecms dont like 50psi plus. Its what i have on my engine and done to others. Not the best looking but works fantastic. I set mine so the ecm only sees about 45 psi

Who cares, nobody that cares in the first place would start with a 5ek cat anyway, weakest e model block, nobody builds them even early prefix 6ts blocks were the same..late prefix 6ts and up had the better block...Anyway, when it blows up its more content..he isn't hard headed, it's all about the views..

After Cam Swap already.. Sounds so badly like 1-2 are completely dead or missfiring the whole time..

I really appreciate that you let the young kids run your garden tractors. The only problem with that is there parents might be into pulling now, which is a good thing. We need more people involved in pulling to promote the sport. Really nice to see the Allis Chalmers run down the track. Hopefully you get the truck figure out. I have not met a puller who was not great to talk to and treated you like a friend, a great community.
On the truck, probably compression is leaking past the head gasket during high boost and pressurizing the radiator. Very common on pulling tractors. Pulling tractors have to run fire rings or C rings to try to help avoid this problem but sometimes they still pressurize the radiator. A lot a guys run a dry block to avoid this problem. Most pullers also have a lowered compression ratio to help with this also. Thats why most pullers require ether to get them started.
I always loved the can we fix it videos, but i also have more interest in pulling truck and tractor videos the past 2 weeks. I been to a few events in the past... and as more of a semi guy I find torque is always fun!

It’s been down a cylinder ever since he put in those used injectors. Tuning won’t save an injector that’s washing down the cylinder walls…

Check you fuel system for airation, ecm & injector flow rates. If you are picking up air in the fuel. Does your fuel psi drop under wot? Keep on pulling 👍💪🇺🇲

Time to call midwest super cub in iowa to order your cub pulling parts, clutches, ect. $$$ sky's the limits on garden tractor pulling. I pulled for a few years and loved every hook with my stock '74, 7010 simplicity. 1300 was my and tractors favorite weight class. I was in the middle of a new puller build when I moved never gotten back to it. It's a T16 homelite built by simplicity. No cub parts used I did just fine. In one clip I seen my style of tractor in the background lol. My friend had a 200 Allis Chalmers super farm twin turbos. Love the chirp his dad could make at shutdown from the turbos. Not very interested in truck pulling as trucks are made to get there tractors are for pulling. Lol

Hey Bruce, I know this is an 18 speed truck, but with all the new mods, just curious as to what gear/range, RPM and boost you’re leaving at when pulling. I’ve always been fascinated by the semi pulling classes. I remember seeing a truck called Maximus Prime in 2015 just obliterate the field of top tier trucks by 40 feet…that thing was legit terrifying at 180 psi lol
That semi definitely has the G-body shuffle now with that bigger cam. Gotta double check to make sure you have ur hood latched

I know nothing about this motorsport specifically but holy crap do I love it now! I got one question tho, how much faster is everything if they dont have the trailers hooked up?
The tractors like the one they got will run around 50 mph with no sled on, the semi most likely still has the original rear in it, but with that hot cat motor it’ll prolly do 100 plus out on the road easy
@@burtbrooks7731 50? Ehh that’s pushing it a little bit. Unless it’s pro stock and super stock these tractors typically are completely hooked up going down the track. I don’t know what class that tractor is in but around here in 10k hot farm they run around 30 give or take depending on the track. On a road they won’t run a whole lot faster. Only mph they’re picking up is from rpm
Should watch some videos of people with good running stuff that know what there doing you'll love it even more

The 3406E I had dropped the valves through the pistons at 76,000 miles.
The tractor does not sound good. Since that water line blew off, it was probably not getting the proper amount of water in the engine so it probably did some damage. Even the first time you pulled it, it had a lot of blow by coming out the bottom. I would be planning for a rebuild soon. Our pulling tractor makes almost no blow by at all. Those water injection lines should be braided stainless lines like nitrous lines. Our tractor will sometimes get 1200 psi of water pressure.

Got an old massey ferguson garden tractor. Og engine is toast. Got a predator engine for it. Would like to make some sort of pulling tractor. Low budget. Any tips? I'm in canukastan. Maybe 1 or 2 events a year I'd get to. Just wanna have fun. And work it a little around home
