That’s the long term goals of these type of procedures. He’s had one installed , and he’s paralyzed. They can now run tests and try to figure out how to reconnect that link between the brain and the body that made him paralyzed. Once they figure that out ,they will be able to use it on other patients. So he’s saying in the future , when all of this tech gets better , once they figure out how reconnect the neurological signals to the body.. there will be people who break their neck and or get paralyzed one day , and are able to walk out the next with this new tech.
