- Alright so yeah, this song went through some interesting changes. The sprites are all completely different and this version of the song is a bit longer too. Still sounds pretty freakin' good!

Fun fact: the reason why Maroon suddenly went slower in this version of boiling point is because he's literally getting engulfed by lava. Both him and BF were supposed to die
Well that's kinda dark! Like when maroon screams the spam long notes, those are like screams of pain right? And near the end, it sounds so distorted and slow, that when I think about this comment it kinda creeps me out a little bit... But the faster ending is better tho. (I like the slow ending too)

it seems like boiling point was generally meant to be more darker, from maroons hand being stabbed and shaking from the pain, to both bf and maroon contuing to try and sing as they literally burn to death, i feel a completed version of this version would look chilling..

I imagined a cutscene for this version of boiling point: maroon is fed up with boyfriend, so he tries to throw a knife at bf, but bf catches it, surprised. maroon then tries to tackle bf to get the knife back, all while being at the very edge of the lava pit. then, they fall in, maroon uses this moment to transform into his parasite, but then bf stabs maroon's hand mid-air, stunning him and stopping his transformation.
Song "Cutscene" ideas:
0:50 lava rises, this isn't actually the lava rising,
but the platform maroon and bf are at breaking and stating to fall down.
1:38 the lava "rises" more,
the platform breaks into two different platforms, bf's platform is bigger than maroon's.
2:08 maroon and bf's platforms submerge, maroon and bf begin to burn
at this point forward, the lava is rising extremely fast and beginning to cover the screen.
3:20 maroon drops and performs a animation similar to when a crewmate gets dropped into the lava, except maroon is twitching and screaming.

Fun fact : boiling point was originally going to be the 1st or 2nd song in week 5 but then later changed to the last song in week 5. Edit: Imagine if the final song was magmatic

I had no idea this song was supposed to be dark like that. Maroons screaming and spam notes representing the pain he feels from the knife in his hand and the lava was supposed to rise. Meaning bf would have died but because he can retry he will be resurrected. That would mean maroon would have been left for dead including the parasite.
i think it was gonna be the other way around like the platform would split into 2 at 2:09 and since maroon is much heavier than bf he would sink faster but so would bf since his portion of the rock wouldve been smaller

That's understandable. Although if you're really curious, you can check the older versions of the GitHub yourself. You'll see that the sprites were indeed there at one point.

I imagine the song would happen like so:
At around 1:30, the rock plate they're standing on would crack, Maroon beginning to sink quicker than BF.
2:08 , Boyfriend would show concern, that be in Maroon's cracked of pain voice or the fact that he's the next to sink.
Later on the next verse the camera'd pan above the hole, showing the entire crew concerned, and GF sad.
Next, at about the 3 last verses, boyfriend would start sinking, changing his poses to holding out his hand for help in agony as him and Maroon sink even more.
At the end of the song comes their demise. (Would've made more sense if BF's voice turned into a shriek as his vocal chords melt and burn.)
I feel like due to Maroon's size the rock would overturn and BF would stand at the very edge until the end of the song where BF would fall into the lava
I'm GLAD Maroon's old parasite form got redacted because it just feels like just a bigger but ordinary impostor, while the new one better represents a terrifying monster that had burning elements inside like lava and is a keen murderer for BF. The old one is just burning in his foot instead of actually being represented as an entity that has lava n shit inside him.

Ok but the best thing in this version is speeding up the video by 1.5 and going to the slow section. It sounds really good actually

Honestly the sprite can be the official version, this take is actually better in both concept and execution than the official one
Apart from the sprite as the new one looks better to me (this one is kinda just maroon but black), It wouldn't be as bad.
But hey, I Guess we now have 2 versions of the song to listen to.
I prefer this version because this song kinda tell that maroon and bf slowly will fall in rising lava.
Slap the new design on this one as a replacement and it'll be even more enjoyable

I think that the current design of Maroon Parasite fits perfectly with new version of Boiling Point. While this design fits perfectly with old version. And his new parasite design doesn't fit with old Boiling Point and vice versa.
I kind of prefer this design over the current one, because he still recognizable as a person yet his actual parasite form it’s just a torso with a big head and tentacles that are too short for the rest of his body size

I think he got interrupted mid-transformation which also explains why it looks MORE demented than the final.
Fun fact:This was not the original boiling point it was technically not even supposed to have maroons parasite form I was just supposed to be maroon in his normal form
This is completely false information. Boiling Point was always planned to be Maroon Parasite, the normal maroon used in the teaser was just a placeholder.

i feel like that this still isnt complete (well i know that but let me explain) i think at the beginning it would be a less parasiteish maroon like a middle form and during the screams he would 1 be more set on fire and 2 grow bigger and more parasite features until the end where hes 75% engulfed in fire and MAROON FREAKING DIES

Another fact: there is an older version and maroons vocals at the slow down part is actually unsettling. You can hear the pure agony and pain and it’s to the point where maroon can barely talk and kinda sounds like a whisper and it’s much more slower.
