Remember how some people thought he was an impostor along with Grey? Now imagine them with mouths… You can’t. So this all leads to the fact you brought this up because Grey and Yellow are not impostors but one is a homicidal broken crewmate mentored by Black in the ways of the dark arts of killing crewmates, and being a murderer from childhood. While Yellow on the other hand is basically the opposite, a crewmate who loves to sing and was never mentored in dark arts and was new to the game (in 2023) but Grey really has a point for killing crewmates. Instead of refusing, he purposely let himself be mentored so he could take revenge on black once he learned the truth about how his father went out, and in the background of the animation you could see yellow and his kids. If yellow was “new to the game” why did he appear about 3 years ago when Black probably was taken over and turned into sort of an exe. So in reality Yellow is the impostor because he was lying to boyfriend about being NEW to the game, so this was him pretending to be nice, when he was planning to rat him out by distracting him and win the match and go on distracting other crewmates as part of his lies, being slowly controlled by Black Impostor until he snaps and turns full maniac. So you aren’t wrong in this case. He possibly, from my theory, is an “impostor” similar to how Grey was a traitor, maybe planning to fight Black, and Black knows this so he is teaching White in the ways of him, but White killed Yellow. Maybe explaining how he was half surprised he was found (secret cutscene where you can go to the stickmen) and surprised it was Yellow, and he hides his emotions during the songs. Thus concluding this theory, Yellow possibly WAS accusing Boyfriend in some evil secret scheme. (Sorry if this was confusing, this started as a joke and then turned into a full theory lol)
Your theory were indeed correct since yellow was intended to be an impostor. But in the V4 official release, we got a different lore instead of what you speculate. But thank you for helping me waste my time on reading more than vibing to the music video we're in 👌 ( I'm serious that i'm very thankful TBH)
Not really just more rockish the vocals are more bland and so is the instrumental. Doesn't fit for what the character was for and the song isn't as catchy its too forgettable compared to the new one . Still isnt a bad song.
