      I gotta wonder though, is the NBA even looking for the next "face" of the league with Lebron (I don't like the guy but he is the face of the League right now) retiring soon in a few seasons? The past 5 MVPs have been international players but they don't seem to be eager to promote them to be the next face of the League. The media is always "Lebron this! Lebron that!" It's getting annoying just let the dude quietly end his career you're just stroking his ego.

    Although, Michael Jordan would “turn on” the aggression when driving to the hoop, it was Jordan’s ability to be graceful while playing that made him magnetic! Watching Michael dribbling the ball, while jogging towards the hoop...., then picking a spot on the court to leap into the air (appearing to be flying), was PURELY GRACEFUL!! That’s another attribute the other players mentioned in this video lacks. Jordan’s movements on the court was poetry-in-motion....., something the others tried to emulate but, failed to do. Either, you’re “naturally” Graceful or, you’re not.

      I agree, regarding the practicing time Michael Jordan put into his game. However, Michael is “naturally gifted” for the game of basketball from the beginning. It’s widely known that Michael had an extreme growth spurt during his later high school years, which helped to elevate (no pun intended) his natural abilities to flow (seemingly) effortlessly. Couple Michael’s drive to work at his craft, with his “natural” gifts kicking in…, you get the “GOAT” Jordan is known as today. Hard work alone will NOT put anyone at the level of Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods, Wayne Gretzky, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry, Bruce Lee, etcetera. You need the ‘Natural Gift’……, supported by a fearless work ethic!

    Nice way to frame the first game between them, but I caught what you did with editing. The first several clips for "After the Half" highlights of Jordan teaching Miner a lesson were all from the first half. You can even see one clip showing the broadcast clock saying 2nd quarter, and another clip you clearly hear Marv Albert say "in the first." Don't get me wrong, you do damn good work, there is a reason I'm subscribed to your channel. Just a little heads up for the future with editing.

      They're even punching teammates. Kobe is 98% Jordan. The other 2% is divided between Jordan's gambling addiction and baseball career.

      @Goatbe Bryant That's a team effort. I'm talking about dominance of the game, your finals record doesn't reflect how dominant you are. Basically you saying an early playoffs lost is better than reaching the finals.

    • @idkidk2573
      @idkidk2573 4 года назад +19

      @Goatbe Bryant "Especially playing in the weak eastern conference" how is that even relevant to his finals record where he has to face the best west conference team?

    • @idkidk2573
      @idkidk2573 4 года назад +11

      @Goatbe Bryant So that just proves my point that you believe a early playoff L is better than reaching the finals... I would love to see Kobe taking the 07 Cavs to the finals or beating the Celtics in 2018.

    You have to remember back in 1992, most casual NBA fans had no idea what made Michael Jordan well Michael Jordan. They thought he was just a dude that was super talented and could dunk and score. No one who didn't play in the NBA realized it wasn't just the talent, it was his obsession with winning. Even today there are fans that don't get it, you see kids on social media calling Jalen Green the next MJ. I remember 1992, I was a high school kid and SO MANY fans were convinced Harold Miner would be "the next Michael Jordan". Thankfully for me, our local sports radio host would shoot down fans that would call into the show saying Miner would be Jordan. The local radio host would say "no way son, Miner is 6'5, Jordan is 6'6 and the chances of somebody coming along with such freakish talent translating into the NBA will be so rare, and then combine MJ's winning mentality". Our local sports radio guy was one of the few people at the time who talked about Jordan's obsession with winning, since he understood it wasn't just the freakish talent, it was MJ's mental toughness.
