The beer might cost less when we get a new company taking over the food and beverage business. Delaware North is gone at the new stadium. It’s going to be Legions company then.
That’s what happens when it’s totally publicly financed. There is no accountability. The state will infuse its political ideology in the hiring-contracting, rather than getting the best bids and contracts. Everyone knows this, so prices are increased. So the fleecing of the fans and taxpayers ends up happening.
The new Billd Stadium is not totally publicly funded. 850 million of it is public money with the rest in including any cost overruns being covered by the Bills. However I personally feel the Pegula's should be paying 100% for this.
When Tampa built Raymond James with part of a 1/2 cent sales tax, The Bucs did the same thing to their fans. They made them buy a Personal Seat License(PSL) just for the privilege to buy that seat over the next 10 years or so. Then you got the jacked up prices for actual game tickets. So you get a free stadium from the fans and then you screw over the fans. On top of that Tampa had to build them a state of the art(at the time) practice facility. On top of that they screwed USF football(who played home games on the field) by nickel and diming them over a bigger piece of revenue for parking, food and tickets.
@@stormageddon248 I don't mind PSLs the Giants used them to build Oracle Park but they paid for that entirely without tax payer money. When they made people re up after the stadium was paid off that was little much for most people which is one of the reasons why attendance has dropped. They have lost a lot of season ticket holders that were pissed.
Some not most obviously, there's 1.3 million people in Buffalo ans another million+ just over the border to Canada. Some people left but many do love it there.
Owner probably figures that if the taxpayers are stupid enough to waste their money on a stadium. They would probably stupid enough to pay more for tickets. The rich get richer. And screw as many as they while doing so.
I just watch the replay highlights of the games on the Internet. 100% FREE No Time, No Traffic or Gas, No Ticket, and Food/Drinks from the cheapest stores.
Not only Buffalo fans should be pissed off at high prices of tickets and food, but all fans of NFL, MLB and NBA and others, should be pissed off for paying the players millions of dollars to play a few minutes and then making the fans pay for it. They should have a National freeze protest from attending the games until the teams bring down the salaries to a reasonable level and therefore lower the prices of tickets and food to a reasonable price. How about laying a mass lawsuit against these teams and sports associations?
And they still don’t have a Dome?!! How many times each winter will they need to move their games to some other city due to unplayable conditions🌨☃️❄️. Morons🤷♂️🤦♂️
Buffalo will experience something similar to the Winnipeg Jets. In a relatively smaller city for pro sports, a rabid fan following alone won't save them when PSL's can cost 400K. That requires a large corporate backing. In the good ol' days, it was all about just selling tickets. Nowadays, it's all about selling premium tickets.
They are following the F1 model and want every game in every city to be treated as the Super Bowl in terms of "fan experience" which translates into paying big money to see a game, park, and buy food and beverages.
What right did the governor have to use taxpayers money to build a stadium for a team that is owned be billionaires not a peep from any of our elected officials
Also a West Coast fan. Believe it or not, real A’s fans still love the Coliseum to watch a baseball game. Even Candlestick was nice on a nice weather day game. I don’t go to stadiums to eat gourmet food and do whatever people do in these fancy stadiums. We watch our A’s, bang drums and cheer. You know like, baseball.
that's the thing tho. Teams care more about catering to the rich people who don't give a rat's behind about the team. You know, the people who''ll go to the stadium on corporate purchased tickets, not to watch the product on the field (they often know nothing about the game or the team), but to brag about who they just fleeced out of their retirement money in some financial scheme. Teams have forgotten about their solid fan base, the one who follow the team and the game itself, who still care about both. They care more about the short-term morons who'll bring them a quick buck, not about the fan who'll bring them solid income for years, and generations. I am not an A's fan, but I know exactly what you're talking about. The A's have a very unique, passionate fan base that i haven't seen any other team have. But the owners don't care about us common folk. Maybe one day, people will see this and stop supporting the teams, by not going to ballgames or shelling out ridiculous money on jerseys or concessions. If enough of us stop supporting them, the richie rich alone can't provide them with what they'll need to survive.
@@jdspreest thank you for understanding the situation perfectly. I even have friend who is a transplant New York Yankees fans and and similar KC fan who enjoyed games at the the Coliseum
@lazcoroner1483 The article says 26k per season. 400k includes PSL, and it sounds like from the article, the total includes 3 years. Because it's a minimum commitment of 3 years. I'm still not a fan of click baits. His stuff is good enough not to do it.
Umm if I was living in western New York state and I could afford that price I would be using that money to move very far away from Buffalo to a much nicer sunnier warmer area and I could catch the Bills on the TV
Buffalo native and lifelong Bills fan here: if a town our size wants to keep the team, we have to live with taking the hit. Our club level seats are $20,000 apiece over close to three years. We either live with it or lose the team. Personally we chose to take the hit.
Unfortunately you are right. If buffalo fans dont do what the owners want the owners will most likely just relocate the team to a bigger richer city that is willing to do what they want.
Should of had a dome! Fools say we still need the weather and the cold in there...... fools! To keep the Bills we needed a new stadium.....now to keep the stadium everyone needs to pony up the dough..... I hate it but what in the world did you think was gonna happen!
Aren't they basically the Toronto Bills of Buffalo by now? Maybe the taxpayers of Ontario should foot the bill. Or better yet - stop me if you've heard this before - the team owner should pay for his own damn stadium!
Wth are you rambling about? Why are they "basically the Toronto Bills by now"? What does Buffalo have to do with Toronto other than being 1.5 hrs away?
The fact that they're surprised is hilarious! This stadium is being built to make the team more money for the exact same product and the way to do that is with raising ticket prices and the dreaded "seat license". WWE is a more believable sport than the NFL, NBA and MLB.
Sometimes old stadiums just work. Esp if you want an authentic football experience. I think I saw more of a Rams turnout at the coliseum than at SoFi. And speaking of the bills. Their new stadium doesn't look at that different from their current stadium.
So the public already funds a new stadium with their tax dollars and the owners want to charge a king randsom for season tickets. How is any of this legal? There has to come a point where the federal government steps with these publicly tax funded venues and regulate what owners can charge for seats.
Not just any suite those are MT club tickets. Currently 30K per seat per season and you have to commit to 3 season to get them. You will rarely find these seats available. They come with everything. You get the huge glass windows, padded seats, separate toilets, Premium parking, Private entry to the stadium, All inclusive buffet/pop/beer/wine/spirits. You don't even have to your fat butt out of the seat they have a seat service. From the sounds of things this guy got them when they were cheaper a few years ago and sat on them not realizing how much they cost now.
The idea with these luxury suites is that your company is paying for it so you can bring customers and the whole thing is tax deductible. You are not paying for it. Your gullible shareholders and Uncle Sam are subsidizing your enjoyment.
@@mrg8581 agreed, I would never pay it out of principle even if I was a multi millionaire, but they’re pretty standard these days so it’s not an issue specific to the Bills.
Me too. 20+ years front row lower bowl. What disgusts me the most is why can't they reveal the prices without having to do the appointment tour. Feels pretty slimy.
Season ticket holders have to decide to buy psl's for equivalent seats in the new stadium first. If they choose no then they go on the waiting list by seniority with other fans who also said no to the new prices.
LOL. Anyone who pays more than $25 a seat in 2024 to see any sporting event is kind of dumb to begin with. This has to be a typo as $400,000 should buy you a good permanent slice of the team ownership stock.
Buffalo NY is following-suit like Toronto of the late 80s, including public funding in building these ridiculous monoliths to capitalize on beloved Sports franchises. Keep in-mind Skydome cost the Toronto tax payer over $600 million to build in 1989 dollars. It was sold less than 12 years later for a little over $30 million CDN to a European brewery company. Skydome/Rogers Centre remains a white elephant that cannot pay for itself.

You could fill a stadium with what Depressed Ginger doesn't know. Show me when the Royals and Chiefs schedule simultaneous home games, much less that's the reason for how much parking is at theTruman Sports Complex.
It’s only partially funded by the public. 600 million from the state and 200 million from the county. Also from the tax’s acquired by the stadium it will be payed back within 8-12 years then they are making money yearly after that.
Hey depressed ginger, I’ve got a story that you might be interested in. It involves the arena football league and it’s new season already turning into a disaster. There was a team called the Louisiana voodoo that was supposed to play in my hometown of Lake Charles Louisiana, they announced that the team would play all of their home games at the Lake Charles event center. Then they announced about a month ago that the team would play half of their home games 45 minutes away at a rodeo arena that’s connected to a Native American owned Casino on sovereign land. Then out of nowhere last night they announce that the team would be relocating to Lafayette, Louisiana and play at the University of Lafayette’s old basketball Arena called the Blackham Colosseum. Apparently, the reason behind the out of nowhere relocation, keep in mind the season kicks off next weekend. The AFL never paid any sort of rent to the Lake Charles event Center. They were storing all of the team Equipment at a high school 30 minutes away. It’s an insane story that a lot of people should be talking about right now considering the fact that the arena football league is making a return and it’s already looking like a disaster.
There is no need for these new stadiums I have been a ny giant fan since 1956 the greatest games played were on grass in the rain snow and mud in Yankee stadium. The old giant stadium was perfect for football despite the turf there was no need to tear it down I went to the new stadium once and never went back the seats were so far away from the field the players looked like ants the stadium looks more like a shopping mall not a football stadium
The old stadium needs to become a national historic landmark just like the stadium built before it which was only partially demolished. The NFL needs to take historic preservation much more seriously as new stadiums save for Levi Stadium don't use the old structural and architectural designs anymore.
Again, the parking at the Truman Sports Complex was planned under the assumption that the Royals and Chiefs would never play games at the same time (and in 50 years they never have). It would be like worrying that the Steelers and Pirates would play at old Three Rivers Stadium at the same time. Schedule makers are smarter than that.
You guys agreed to it, don’t complain. I mean, what did you expect you paid for the stadium and now the owners are sticking it to you again, playing on your loyalty and love for your team, it ain’t worth it.
Big huge difference between Buffalo's new stadium and SoFi - SoFi was NOT publically funded. It is part of the reason L.A. went so long without a pro football team, as L.A. refused to spend any public money. Also, no chance of freezing to death in L.A. You know season tickets will be jacked up, and I bet the Bills will be sorry they did not go for the dome. The last football game I saw was early October 2010 at the Superdome - Saints vs. Panthers
As a lifelong patriots fan of 40 plus year's, i feel for the bills fans, this is insane, hey owners of the bills, build your own damn stadium, stop asking for handouts from tax payers, of buffalo. FFS your billionaires, you own the team, my team sucks right now, and they just increased prices. I'll sit at home and watch games from now on. Bills fans should do the same, let's see how Quick, they change their tune to prices if people just sat home and watched on tv.
This new stadium does not float my boat. It’s just crossed the highway from the old one and no Dome how many times they have to go to Detroit to play a game. They should’ve build it in Niagara Falls make it easy for the Canadiens to come over. Bring that money.
Sports fans r like sheep they get screwed by teams they follow yet instead of boycotting the games they file in the stadiums instead of telling the owners keep their seats and overpriced tickets. Let the owners look at the empty seats and lost revenue maybe they will get the hint that that without the fans they they have nothing if the fans only stuck together and stayed away for one year maybe some common sense will takeover I won’t hold my breath though
Just remember this, folks. There is only ONE NFL football 🏈 team that plays in New York. The Buffalo Bills 🦬. MAJOR ERROR: The Borough of East Rutherford, Bergen County, New Jersey, is NOT LOCATED IN NEW YORK. It is PHYSICALLY LOCATED in the State of New Jersey (7 miles west of New York City/Manhattan). 😡😡😡😡😡
I've been to both Arrowhead and the Bills stadium and both may be old but are cool stadiums that are perfectly fine and I see no reason to build new ones for either team. Real fans don't care about all the bells and whistles that much, they just want to go see their team play and have an affordable fan experience while doing so. Arrowhead is legendary and has a cool shape to it and Bills stadium has a unique look to it that's perfect for Buffalo.
Same happened to me with the Jets when they built that abomination in the swamp. My tickets went up to $750 per game and $25k PSL's for my 4 tickets in sec 111 row 2 & 3 until they added those extra 2 rows in front of us. My old tickets are now "coaches cub" tickets & I moved up to Sec 221A This will be the first season since 1980 I won't be going back... after 43 yrs as a STH I told them to shove it.
Have fun with that, Bills fans. Having season tickets in Oakland for 25 years, i knew even if they had built a new stadium in Oakland, i would have been priced out. Even in Vegas, as i understand it, its almost all 3rd party sales for individual games. The days of regular Joe's like me owning season tickets are long gone.
Goin to watch NFL live in person is a complete joke. Watching any pro sports in person is a complete joke. Thank goodness for television. It’s free and good for watching in the comfort of your own home
We just voted down this very thing 2 weeks ago here in KC... They wanted to move the Royals downtown and tried to tie the Chiefs into the mix to entice people to vote yes. We were not stupid. It failed miserably.
It's not about being smart or stupid.Either you eventually build them a new stadium or they move. Cities like Austin or San Antonio are willing to give blank checks.
Now every football and other sports teams fans get why the we Raider fans were so pissed off no you all gonna see the price we as fans pay for a new stadium fucking BS

I like u but this upload isn’t well done. It would be super helpful if you would say what the price was for him at the OLD stadium. And, it’s for EIGHT tix in a luxury suite - how does that match other cities?
The Buffalo bills are slapping their long time fans in the face, from my understanding they have thrown out seniority there are some fans who have had tickets in there family from the beginning in the old war memorial stadium. Also the fact they are pricing the average fan out of being able to afford the license fee and then the actual ticket. It’s totally ridiculous.

The court is slow waking it and even if they allow the funding initiative to go through SOS only will have one money to gather 100,000 signatures although not impossible but it will be hard ..KLAS 8 Las Vegas took a poll and 52 % of registered voters said they would vote against funding the stadium with public funds and only 32% were in favor with 16% with no opinion ..If Fisher can get outside funding then nothing can stop this .And personally I don’t care if they come just don’t use public money to build a stadium a billionaire can pay for himself ..I also think they will be a complete failure after the thrill of a new venue gets a couple of years old ..The A’s couldn’t even sell out Las Vegas ballpark when they played the Brewers in spring training , how the hell will they sell out 30,000-35,000 81 games a year for 30 years ..Like the Raiders ticket prices will be the highest in the league to see a triple A team .
@@edwil111 It will be cool though. I hope you get it. I'll see a baseball game (if I can afford it), the next time I visit Vegas if the team is there.
Don't forget the 18 dollar beers.
The beer might cost less when we get a new company taking over the food and beverage business. Delaware North is gone at the new stadium. It’s going to be Legions company then.
@@1yankeesrule Haha dream on. Beers will be over $20 in the new stadium. I guarantee it!!!!!
@1yankeesrule I think you mean Legends Hospitality, the old Yankkes/Cowboys company, but we understand your point.
Will it at least be good, or nasty ass bud light?
I'm sneaking utica club in the stadium lmao
Stadiums are designed to suck money out of the city. I agree it is ridiculous to pour public money into these black holes!
Think your confused since school bonds are the biggest waste of public funding.
Should have been a dome for that price.
It’s not for the normal people it’s for the rich.
That’s standard bro. PSL’s are used at basically every stadium. At least every one I’ve visited.
PSL is everywhere. and its for 30 years.
Most people in Western New York who can afford that kind of money usually use it to leave New York State and move elsewhere.
Some not most obviously, there's 1.3 million people in Buffalo ans another million+ just over the border to Canada. Some people left but many do love it there.
@@steveoshei1819 can't forget the 1.2 million in the rochester area as well, and oh syracuse has a nice size metro too!!
Plus, no frustration and disappointed, spending 3+ hours watching, only to see your team lose in the last 13 seconds.
He'll ya I do it all the time any team any game so much better
End all the sports monopolies - there will be more leagues, more teams, and with competition, cheaper tickets
To paraphrase the great philosopher Gomer Pyle:
SURPRISE
SURPRISE
SURPRISE
That's funny 😂
It always shocks me when fans figure out their teams try to milk every last $ out of them. Loyalty always seems to work one way.
Rust Belt, lackadaisical economy, declining metropolitan area in population. Buffalo is lucky they even have a team
So what's your point??? It's good the state paid for the stadium??? The season ticket holder should shut up???
Buffalo has had the team since 1960. Its fans have been nothing short of sensational in their support of their beloved Buffalo Bills.
We have a team because we have a rabid fan base that turns out to every game, and we spend money. so. whats your point lol
And they still don’t have a Dome?!! How many times each winter will they need to move their games to some other city due to unplayable conditions🌨☃️❄️. Morons🤷♂️🤦♂️
Bruh lol 😂
That much heavy snow would collapse the dome.
It's only happened twice in the last 60 plus years in Buffalo. I think they will be OK without a dome. SMH!
East Rutherford? Maybe Orchard Park.
I even have friend who is a transplant New York Yankees fans and and similar KC fan who enjoyed games at the the Coliseum

a shame cuz most of those fans have rocked with the team for years....... these owners suck and the Buffalo Economy is nothing like LA or Vegas or NYC
Not a good idea to build a stadium without a roof in a cold climate.
If a doctor told me I had a year to live I would marry a Jewish woman and move to Buffalo so it would feel like 10 years.

Wth are you rambling about? Why are they "basically the Toronto Bills by now"? What does Buffalo have to do with Toronto other than being 1.5 hrs away?
The attendants were low in Toronto for the bills, so that situation failed through.
@mrbear716 They were never going to move permanently. 15 years ago they played 1 game a year.
@@steveoshei1819 Yeah I know that!
The current Bills stadium is out dated and lackluster.
What I don’t get is they build a stadium with tax payer dollars then give no discounts to the tax payers some bullshit
East Rutherford is in New Jersey, home of Met Life Stadium.
So the public already funds a new stadium with their tax dollars and the owners want to charge a king randsom for season tickets. How is any of this legal? There has to come a point where the federal government steps with these publicly tax funded venues and regulate what owners can charge for seats.
The residents voted for it! It’s 100% legal. There’s nothing to do in Buffalo, so they’re desperate to keep their NFL team.
This makes me wonder how are ticket prices determined or do the owners pick a random number to charge fans with?
I mean….it’s EIGHT seats….and they’re in a SUITE. It’s a lot of money but suites are always a ton of money.

Me too. 20+ years front row lower bowl. What disgusts me the most is why can't they reveal the prices without having to do the appointment tour. Feels pretty slimy.
So you have to buy a seat in a luxury box now?! Season tickets holders can't pick a seat in the stands?!
Season ticket holders have to decide to buy psl's for equivalent seats in the new stadium first. If they choose no then they go on the waiting list by seniority with other fans who also said no to the new prices.
400k? I got oceangate vibes

They were storing all of the team
Equipment at a high school 30 minutes away. It’s an insane story that a lot of people should be talking about right now considering the fact that the arena football league is making a return and it’s already looking like a disaster.
Just to be clear, if there's any cost overruns it'll be the owner paying for that, not the taxpayers.
Every $400,000.00 ticket gets a free jar of Vasoline !!! Someone needs to get off the CRACK !!!!
Now we know mypegulas are selling parts of ownership, they can’t afford their own tickets.
What are the ticket prices like in Green Bay?
Well the Packers are still using metal bleachers xD.

Upper deck is no longer viable long term. Cracks have been found. That's what kind of made the new stadium proceed...
@@jimbokay5696 That's fair, but I don't think they really need to go that over board with the new stadium. People just want something they can afford.
