I’m going to call these stadiums Skylight Doughnuts
Wasn't the drawing of what Lori Lightfoot had in mind cheaper than what Kevin Warren showed today? I want the Bears to get a new stadium, and I want them to get the new stadium in Chicago. There's got to be a way to get this project done without infuriating taxpayers, while benefit the Bears, Chicago, and all those involved.
You can build it on land the Bears own.
Can you imagine how much tickets beer and food will be at the new stadium.. I bet double what it is now .. 😢😢
I think the stadium is tremendous people tripping a dome the open outlook of the downtown skyline from inside the stadium the only thing I hope is 1 the traffic major issue and the parking and restaurants inside and outside the stadium but it’s beautiful it’s like a big yacht on the outside with a football stadium on the inside and I like the entrance as well
no parking - you have to boat in.
I like the name of this stadium: "STADIUM." Inside, you'll find the restrooms named "Let's Poop Here."
These teams that give away an incredible natural advantage by building a dome are so dumb. I've always thought it such a missed opportunity when the Lions built Ford Field with a roof. Green Bay has it right!
that ncaa final four rendering lol don't forget to bring your binoculars
The 2.3 billion that the Bears are contributing should be enough for the Arlington heights project
WOW!!! its Allegiant Stadium
They don't need a stadium district! You are downtown
If they want to make money they do.
Love the stadium design and surrounding area but the price tag is a killer
It would be neat if they did something unique to Chicago/the Bears organization with the exterior design. Like how US Bank Stadium has that Viking longship aesthetic.
While City 🏙️ of Chicago can’t FEED Grammar School 🏫 Children meals 🍱 🔥❓
the bears still have to make friends of the park happy and that will be hard to do also the public does not want to pay for this the people are still paying for the last reno witch is 650 mill
The stadium is beautiful. Idc about the comparison to the Raiders stadium. It would bring the Bears into the future. It would also bring way more events like NCAA basketball and Football championships, concerts and other major events. Chicago needs this
AH will make a deal they can’t refuse
hope so
@@alexlindsey6446 yes my business relies on it lol if the bears don’t come it’s gonna be the worst
Going inside for a cold weather team is the biggest mistake you can make. Before the Vikings went inside they were always contenders, now look at them
Life long Bears fan here.. I dont live in Chicago but my question is safety. I know it sounds crazy but whats the land AROUND the stadium like? Big picture is this- whats the weather in Chicago like year round? Over time will the land shift or sink because its close to the water? Will there be MORE money coming out of tax payers pockets for repairs because opps! we didnt think about that sink hole we just opened up..
New York have their tax payers pay for a bloated stadium. Many New Yorkers wont be able to watch Bill games because their forced to watch the Jets or Giants that's played in New Jersey. The New York screw job.
If the Bears dont own the stadium, why should they foot the bill?
Because they reap all the benefits of having a stadium. They get all the money on ticket sales, luxury boxes, concessions etc.
@@Tank4Life for Bears games. What's that, 8 days a year out of 365? I'm sure there'll be many more concerts and other events than that over the course of a year, and I assume the park area around the columns will be open year round.
@@Tank4Life No the city and park district get that money also
A “want” at the expense of the taxpayer’s, courtesy of your elected officials!
I thought you meant the other type of piss (not anger)
I think voters have grown tired of paying for venues for billionaires. Most of these stadiums are barely 20 years old and the original debt isn't paid off, before renovations and replacement is demanded. There is zero return on the investment made by tax payers.
By the end of it , this will be 6-8 billion easily. No WAY should this be funded!!
Total corruption and payouts. No way a stadium should cost that much.
It's not just the stadium, it's everything surrounding it also
There were never plans and they aren't allowed to add smaller buildings within the new stadium campus because of the friends of the parks group wanting green everywhere.
No parking , then they need to knockdown that eye sore of old McCormack place.
That stadium looks wack it should be outside period. We Chicago too many Domes Detroit Minnesota Indianapolis in the Midwest period
The interiors of these new stadiums are starting to look alike
The City owns the Stadium not the Bears, green space added and the roads around the Drive are improved
Honestly, the Bears should copy the CFL BC Lions stadium which called BC Place. I suggest commenters should pull up images of that stadium.
depressed ginger's voice is a cross between a Southern Baptist Preacher and a robot
Take a family of 4 to a game at SoFi in LA, and you need to get a 2nd on your home loan. It is unaffordable! Chicago is blue collar, and the Average Joe will not be able to afford to go to the games.
Friends of the Park.
That is all.
Nitpicking over the division and percentages is a distraction. They want at least one billion of public money and more realistically they want at least two billion of public money. Hopefully they will be met with laughter and a quick “how about no.”
That stadium is so professional and clean looking those are hands down the best super stadium if they actually do it! Love how you’re not looking at 50 different weird things in the stadium all meshes so good together! The only thing I dislike is the fact you have kiddy fields right outside it that part looks disgusting
Its very pretty and lord knows the Bears desperately need an indoor stadium, but I don't think either the City or the Bears themselves can afford it. The McCaskeys have gotten wealthy owning the Bears, but like many families that inherited their teams from the beginning of the League (the Bidwills, the Browns), they have no other sources of wealth to draw upon to invest in their teams. They're like a middle class family whose house was suddenly valued at 100x what they paid for it.
Love the new Stadium GO CHICAGO bears🧡💙💯🏈🐻⬇️
I love the new design of the stadium 🐻 ⬇️ baby
Even more pissed at how the Fields saga turned out. First guy in last guy out typa dude and wonder what coulda been if he didnt hav to go thru a whole regime change and had actually competent rosters and offensive coordinators. Now we get a potential headcase in Caleb Williams. I hope all the pre-draft stuff bout not wanting to come to Chicago and his USC teammates not liking him was all fake
Parking will be a disaster, and walking two or three blocks with this crime ridden city, uh no thanks.? This will be so awful walking out after a game. By the time you get home you'll need to shave again.
it would make new jobs they say!bruh 4.6 bill worth of jobs?come tf on lol,its crazy that tax payers money will go to spoil owners and players, dont get me wrong i love sports but this is just crazy.these guys make so much money every year.i think tax money should be investments to help all not just some.a bunch of BS if you ask me
The dome stadium channel
Does it need a growling big bear head
Jordan loves new crib is lookin fire 🔥
Shouldn't non bears fans be the ones pissed?
