What made Final Fantasy IX a perfect game to me:
1) Best ps1 graphics
2) The story and characters
3) The Music,
4) The pacing and progression
5) Comedic, with a classy touch
ntm the fact that coming off two games with a brooding protagonist, this game was a breath of fresh air with a protagonist that didn't take matters too seriously. No matter how bad things got he would try to brush it off with a certain level of snark. Then there is also the fact of a villain just as good as Kefka that makes Sephiroth look like a little bitch in comparison.
I think Celes' being emo was well developed in 6...
Vivi is enough for liking FFIX it brought a new aspect to Black magicians.

I've seen this so many times, and I still get blown away every time. Man, this is truly an epic summary of all that is FFIX! Of course, Uematsu is king of composing aweinspiring melodies, but this medley really brings it over the top. Hands down one of the greatest videos on RUclips.
I honestly don't know how I made it until now without coming across this. FFIX is my favourite of the series. This is beautifully done!

Final Fantasy 9 is one of my favourite games of all time. I'll never forget the good ol' days of playing it back at home when I lived with my family.

Final Fantasy IX is my first epic game, and I just love its gentle style of videos, art and music - even understanding that it is obviously not the most sophisticated in the series, and one can find many things to criticize in this installment. I think that FF9 was the most amazing work of Uematsu, too.

As far as I'm concerned you have taken some of the already great music from Final Fantasy IX and turned it into one of the greatest Progressive Rock Epics I have ever heard. I'm not gonna lie, tears came to my eyes a couple of times.

FF IX was my first Final Fantasy I played as a kid. Even now the music is something I still remember from it. Beautiful job on this and thank you for the awesome trip down nostalgia lane :)

Ton boulot est juste énorme, sur tous les points, comment ne pas tomber sous le charme de ces 18 magnifiques minutes , surtout quand on est un fan invétéré de FFIX...
