What is the pink cleaner you use? It seems people here in Florida barely use anything. The last 5yrs after redoing the outside of our home we have it cleaned every year. But afterwards I can find dirt still all over it. I'm to the point I'll do it myself.

Most homeless people just don't want to work. Being homeless comes from a lot factors like veterans, divorcee, not being able to keep a job because of some mental status. Then there are those who want a lot but don't want to work.

@@Friskyeat07 a lot of homeless arnt actually veterans. If they served briefly they were kicked out almost guaranteed. Every single one I have approached in Chicago I’ve asked to see their vet ids and all vets should carry one especially since it’s free health care and not one has ever produced one. I’m a vet and I would help out another brother or sister but no one ever seem to be able to prove it when I ask about their service. Sometimes when people are at a really low point it's like pulling teeth to get them to do the right thing for themselves. They are so depressed or bogged down that they can't even think about trying. It's really sad. I know people IRL who aren't homeless but like I said it's like pulling teeth to help them help themselves.

Not to mention I usually don't see cash for about a month after starting. Your first check is always way late. If he's spending most of his day trying to find food but immediately has to spend all his time doing chores for someone now how's he going to feed himself for the first month without having time to go out and find food. I was only saved when I was homeless due to a friend of mine that gave me a basement to stay in and food to eat until I could provide for myself. No I'm not some drug addict or criminal. Being poor is a lack of cash not a lack of character. I think a lot of people forget that. A homeless person with no outside help is almost certainly going to fail. They have everything stacked against them for the crime of daring to be poor. Not that they could help it, or they wouldn't be homeless.

In my personal experience with every panhandler in my town in my life, and I'm almost 50, and it's every single red light in the city, both directions, sometimes in teams.... no matter what their homemade sign says, they only want money, they've never cared when I mention my company or any other company is hiring, they will ask for money all day everyday while literally standing next to "Now Hiring" signs. Now either way I feel bad for these people, because even if they make more money than I do at my job by begging, I figure that is still a sign as to how mentally ill they are and I have a better life even if they have more money in their pocket from begging than I do from working. But I would rather them quit lying. Draw a sign that says too lazy to work or begging pays better than your job.... I can deal with that, it's the lying.

I work a pressure washing job and we do mostly business sidewalks at night. One night this guy was sleeping on the sidewalk we had to clean (pretty common) so we woke him up and let him know if he doesn't want to get covered in chemicals and water he's gotta move. He said some weird shit. First off he said that he didnt believe I was a pressure washer because I'm a woman (lmfao) and then he went on a rant about how landscapers dont work in the middle of the night. We're not landscapers. I put my hand on my 8' knife and he got up and out of there pretty quick.
Some people are a bit odd, at least this one didnt try to attack us (which has happened before, and is the reason I carry a knife and pepper spray now)

Some of y’all bashing people who declined but some people are embarrassed that it took living on the street to get someone to notice them and gift them a job. Not all are lazy and want to live off people, but people are truly embarrassed by how low they fell. I’ve talked to a few homeless people who accepted job invites I’ve given them and they all say the same thing. Can’t make an excuse for this guy he saw in his van but not all are lazy.

It really shows who you are as a person when you react that way. I feel like most people would have just kicked him out, probably very rudely. But instead you kept your temper, and offered him a job. People who are homeless can be out there for any reason. It’s really sad to see comments being like “omg why didn’t he take a job that’s why he’s homeless”. It’s not that simple, not many people personally know and love a family member who is homeless. But if you do, you’d understand how hard it is to get off the streets. It’s not just getting a job, once you’ve seen what civilization is actually like, once you see all the ugly of a city, the disfunction, and when cops deal with the homeless it’s a lot different then a average person with more money and assets. Once you’ve lived in the street, I mean really on the street, no Daddies money waiting for you, once your in them, pulling yourself out is probably one of the hardest things to do on this planet. Pulling yourself out of addiction, major depression and ptsd, not to mention the virtually inescapable fact that you will have a criminal record after being homeless for a while. And there is very very little funding for solutions to these issues humanity had created. the way we alienate homeless people. It’s disgusting. These people have no resources. And we continue to leave them behind. We continue to just look past them, and maybe every once and a while you’ll give a homeless person a few bucks. Right. That’s the solution. That’s what we do for these people. It’s SICK. the American government is ass fucking backwards. We are driving in reverse, at full speed in the dark with no lights on. That’s where humanity is going. The media has total control over the mass population, and the government won’t do anything. These are just a few of the issues we face today. respect people who have it harder than you. Respect the homeless man who you are almost afraid or ashamed to look at, give him or her as much money as you have to spare. Go buy gloves and cheap winter coats to give out if you have some extra money, buy some peanut butter, Quaker bars or less perishable, nutritious foods to give out to them. They are hungry and cold, and have to beg for money and dig in the fucking trash for food. They survive off of Fast food, they’re health just crumbles apart. It’s the least you can do if you have enough money to buy that $9 coffee every day. Fucking give back, and support the people who have been left behind by the politicians you’ve voted into power. It’s not the average persons fault, but there are things we can do as a society that will help, and lessen the burden of this cruel reality we live in. That’s part of the problem. We’re so divided it almost doesn’t matter what the issue is, one side thinks something and the other thinks something else. Fuck it all, I need to wrap this up, so. Be nice to one another, love yourself, be respectful, tip your waitresses you slob, and don’t forget, someone loves you.
