When I was young (which may or may not have been a while ago) we were taught that those were "carriage bolts" (and for those reading, no, that's not the same thing as a coach screw/bolt). That rear bumper/tow unit looks like a well made and nicely designed setup for the money and a hell of a lot better than the (too low, I know this cos I have one too) crappy pressed metal folded ledge on the L110/LA models.
