Braves fan here. Max was my favorite pitcher on the Braves roster. I am truly going to miss him, but I am so glad he seems to have landed where he wanted to. I think the Braves may feel the impacts of his leaving over the next couple of seasons. Even as a lifelong Yankees hater, I am excited to love to hate this team even more by watching what they do next season. I have high expectations. The moves they have made over the last week have been a masterclass

It’s so wonderful that half the league gets to develop players for the 8 teams who actually get to spend whatever they want. Why even stay loyal to a mid market team or team like the braves whose ownership won’t spend like the major teams. Then they wonder why ratings are down everywhere. Most fans have little reason to watch unless they dint care about contending.
Xactly my take - You may be a little young to remember this but perhaps the 2 best money pitchers in World Series and Playoffs were Jack Morris and Frank Viola - Fried's demeanor reminds me of both
Aaron Boone, you didn't manage the Yankees to a Champion World Series. They are better manager out there who deserve that position. You are a weak manager who doesn't manage with authority and knowledge.
