On day 10. Haven’t had many cravings, but when I do, I just picture the nic receptors dying. Changed up my routine immediately. 20 minutes mild exercise first thing in the morning. Protein shake with supplements. Food tracking during the day, water intake and spiritual development. Hand the whole mess over to God. God bless you all. You got this!

Discovering this channel is the final nail in the coffin for my 3 decade smoking habit. I stopped last night, I've had enough of smoking now. Despite this being my 1 millionth attempt I'm confident I can keep this going, I feel like I've passed the point of no return already. I had some insomnia but fell asleep at about 7 am, woke up at 12 midday, didn't smoke but drank about 500 cups of tea. I looked in the mirror earlier and appeared to have aged 50 years, very odd, lol. I feel reasonably ok though. Seriously though, you've changed the way I look at withdrawals. I know I'm not going to relapse. I've decided not to and this isn't going to change.

Complicated. I started again after over 2 months, slowly crept back in, stopped again, started again in Summer 2022, stopped for a few weeks in January this year, smoking slowly crept back in again. Sigh... When I'm in a better place mentally, the third time I quit will be the final time. My quit isn't over yet.

My cigarette cravings last for hours. I smoked a pack a day for 30 years. It feels like im greaving a death. I get sad and it's all consuming. I made it 5 days with only 5 cigarettes but it's very frustrating. Im gonna beat it though. I can't waste my money or mess up my health anymore. You have been very helpful so thank you.

Something else I noticed.. a lot of cravings give you energy and almost move you toward a vape/nic.. when you catch that surge of energy in the moment, you can actually reabsorb that energy in your system and use that energy to get a euphoric boost or boost in action. Cravings are actually a fun part of quiting when i understood this. Now i consider the craving a little surprise.. happens every few hours and i use it to make myself feel great.. very calming also. Quiting is actually easy.

I like your advice. I’ve been smoking since I was 15 . I’m 46 . I’ve struggled with many addictions. Cigarettes have been the hardest . I like listening to Allen Cart’s Easy Way because it makes perfect sense . But I somehow let those bitch cravings control me . I’ll try your advice. When I think about how time has FLOWN , it upsets me to think back to the fresh 15 year old I was who didn’t listen when older people urged me to quit . I’ve quit for up to 2 years back in my 20’s and months here and there . Til I reached my late 30’s and it kept getting harder each time I tired . The older I get , the harder it seems , and the worse I feel. I crave feeling better for sure . I’ll let that craving try to replace the craving to cough up crud every day . Thank you 😊
