Good to see the AI being good on auto in comparison to some other games that have had really bad AI this is good to see. I will probably play a lot of it manual because I like to use my own strategy, but when I'm wanting to just clear some easy stages or doing daily objectives being able to do it on auto is nice. Thanks for your thoughts on the game. I still remember your first test on the very early build years ago of this game and its amazing to see how far the game has come along.
FYI, "in battle Auto play" is unnecessary for farming stages since once you 3 star a stage you can skip the battle entirely (its named auto but is actually a skip button). Farming is instantaneous in GFL 2 so dailies take no time at all.
I want to play this game because it reminds me of Valkyria Chronicles, one of the only few games I played and COMPLETED on PS3. But what I'm looking for the most is whether or not the story is captivating enough.

Very connected story wise as it's a sequel. In terms of new players you can still play it as a standalone without issue. Just be aware that you will miss out on lore tips in the story that you probably won't understand if you haven't played the first game. But if you want to get up to speed, I recommend looking up 'GFL cutscene interpreter' as you can read through the cutscenes of the story (Or what has been translated as of writing). Hopefully, this helps answer your question.
Looks really good and I'll definitely play, I just hope they make the dorm more functional instead of just a place to look at the characters. That's cool and all but give us stuff to do.
You do know you can click to trigger the animations right? And also seems like the dorm is in beta ver same goes for cn (still has the beta writing at the bottom)
On some old CN streams, they sorta teased a new thing where you could walk around the main mobile base as one of the dolls, so there's more interactions coming at some point.

Well nothing useful information. Especially i am not sure about resource at mid game where they start force me pay cash. Season pass also the problem here. Seem like this game aim for filthy casual and milk the gamer like snowbreak. It not like girls frontline 1 so i don't trust them.

The first game is also not (or at least was not) available through the store. It's not unusual at all in general for gacha games. It's an issue of stores, payments and such, not the game. GFL in particular has so much Russian stuff in it that it would've been weird not to allow it in Russia without other complications.

If they botch the story or made a silly controversy of NTR-ing player or anything that made playerbase look stupid or ridiculed then this game will be buried 6 feet under mark my word. I hope they learnt their lesson in CN if they gonna release to global since global don't even spend a fraction as much as CN and that says alot. Can't sustain a game from f2p only now can we?

I'm not a feet guy but I will admit the 3D models and animations are the best I've seen so far. Kind of shocked they are this good.

How significant are the dupe upgrades? Arknights' level, Genshin level or in between?
Base drop rate of SSR unit/weapon is 0.6%, DAYUM that's low.

It's not that bad since F2P players can farm around 100 pulls per month if you complete everything and with 80 pulls SSR guarantee

That's GFL 1's CN server only. GFL 2 has been going strong in CN for almost a year now (released 2023).
