We want to use this product for the roof of a large single slope timber outdoor room. Is there an option available for finishing the top edge of the sloping roof?
Eh I installed it on my buddy mobile home around ten years ago and I followed the instructions perfectly and it might be better now . I say if you want to go over your existing shingles and can not afford a complete tear off it will buy you time for sure .

Surely the ridge covers lap so the middle is the top section? Basically weather proofing

First fit roofing batten to the beams 2x1 inch should do it.

If you use wooden walk boards, to spread your weight
