Thanks for your reviews, I found them really helpful when I was doing some research for cars for my sister and I. I went with an iA, my sister went with the HR-V. I've had the chance to drive it around for a bit so here are my thoughts for anyone considering one. If you want something that's versatile, practical, and roomy yet small enough to navigate through city streets, then this is your car. The storage space for a car 169 inches long is amazing. It's no secret that the HR-V is a more conservative entry in the hot new subcompact SUV segment. If you're looking for something more sporty and are willing to compromise on practicality a little, then you probably already bought a Mazda CX-3. The touch screen is not the best, it's not complicated, but adjusting the volume feels like a chore, it's really sad they couldn't include a volume knob. At least there's one on the wheel. If you're a taller person, you'll probably find no trouble in the drivers seat, there's plenty of room and everything's pretty adjustable, but be warned if you plan on being a frequent passenger, that slope on the floor 3:09 is too close, and angled too steep, and I struggled to find a comfortable position for my legs sitting there. The drive is fine, the 1.8L engine is plenty peppy, don't listen to these automotive goofballs who moan and whine at anything more than a 7 second 0-60. The brakes feel great as well. I do wish the steering was more connected with the wheels but you can't have it all I suppose. The headlights, despite being halogen, are very good. The feature content you get for the money is really a marvel, cars like this make you take a step back and really ask why people are paying 35k+ for much more car than they really need. This has everything you would ever need to accommodate a family with a kid or two. The base LX trim of this car is loaded with features and starts under 20k.

Honda really needs to upgrade the headlights on this car. The reflector halogens are so outdated now days, other than that, I do like the design of this car, interior and exterior. Nice review!
Excellent review! You missed a minor detail on the backup camera though. They give you the choice of three different views which I find to be very useful.
I have been seeing these around a lot lately and I think this may be my next car. I currently drive an 01 Honda CRV SE and looking for something that drives more car like.
It would be more practical to include a couple of USB outlets in the space under the arm rest for easy access, 26:07. Getting to those USB ports under the middle console would be a pain in the behind (or back).

In the UK the HRV is priced too close to the CRV. Makes little sense therefore.
