CoasterFan2105 Hey, next time your in California, could you please visit the Western Railway Museum? It has alot of old electric trolly cars. Very interesting place!
CoasterFan2105 Nicely done Video! However it would be great to know where all the locations are.Peekskill I recognized. The Strasburg railroad easily recognized. But some places Have no clue.

@@TheChachLINY Oh wow.

0:22 who else obviously saw the One World Trade Center?
Also correct me if I'm wrong.
Correct, that is indeed the WTC (:
funny how when i used to live in NYC WTC was the only way to get to NJ
The one world trade center is not the Twin Towers, Imao
@@TheBronxFanner that is very true
Mike please reply:
Thank you for filming the Metro North, and LIRR. I really appreciate it. Metro north is always my favorite Commuter Railroad!
Thank you for filming my favorite railroads. :)
Thank you very much for the comment! There will be more videos on Metro North and LIRR in the not too distant future, so be on the lookout!

3:47 the gorgeous 611😍😍😍
This is quickly becoming my favorite video
Mine too
12:40 - 12:46, one of the best, most nostalgic sounds in the world for me. Anyone who's ever lived on long Island knows that sound intimately
Daniel Munch Funnily enough that’s on the MNRR but yeah they run the M7s on LIRR too. Just like on Long Island, anyone who’s lived on the Hudson knows that sound.
Long Island railroad!
RAKA VLOGS LIRR is the abbreviation for Long Island Railroad, so both terms are accurate, but most people use LIRR
Hey, you made it to Woodbourne! That's my local haunt since moving to PA last year...
i freaking love New Jersey trains
yes NJT!!! the railroad of my home state
NJT all the way. NJ REPRESENT
I live in nj too 🥳
Same! 🥳
I Mean, NY Does Get Some NJT Lines, But Its Mainly Metro North & Long Island Railroads
@@Goofy1trainofficial That's very true
I love those swedish toaster units!
boi that steamer at 2:03 is BEAUTIFUL!
90 is better that 475
Thanks Mike hope that you are having a good time railfaning
9:02 minions have a birthday party
Nice Catch of The Former American orient express Coach at 6:59!
6:02 Lol
Whats so funny about that?
0:16 to 0:30 the horns and the landscapes give me nostalgia when was a small kid, that when i met the best know places in chile🥹🇨🇱
The Big Steam Train are Very Longest :O
YOU DID MY RECOMMENDATION! Yay! Great video!
You're very welcome! Glad you liked it!
CoasterFan2105 he's not the only one
Good for you! :)
Your channel banner is awesome! It’s a metro north
@@railfanner3764 Yes it is! Thank you! 😃
You should go to NC again, their Piedmont supports beautiful views. And who better to film it than you?
It's on the list!
Guys I love train and the favorite metro north loco is the sd45-2 and the p42!😊😊
Beautiful compilation of various trains. Thanks so much for your hard work!!!
fun fact septa sillverliner v k3la's are the same type k3la that are on wes commuter rail.
That they do!
Great footage, Mike. Glad you were able to visit the east coast, I hope to go some time. Looks like some of the greenest scenery on God's Earth. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Yeah, it is quite beautiful back east. When you go, I particularly recommend the Hudson River. Absolutely beautiful.
4:21 I live less then a mile away from there that’s cool
In short, you are lucky, and have an advantage over other railfans
@@sotomanuel3 yeah, wish things weren’t just transit and some freight were included lmao
East Coast stand up
I didn't realize commuter rail in urban PA and the NJ/NY area had such interesting rolling stock.
There's a lot of neat commuter equipment back east and just a couple years ago, they had even more of it. You'll see a few more surprises in upcoming videos on each of these commuter operations.
Nice, can't wait.
I ❤️ trains and I live in the east coast in Maryland. So the oldest I went to is the strasburg railroad.
Amazing video! My favorite shot was of 611 gong around the curve!
Thank you very much :)
CoasterFan2105 Anytime!
Awesome run by's, loved the Strasburg Steam. Beautiful scenery in some of the shots.
Thank you!
I've been to strasburg re so many times
I saw that same train at 2:24 in Manville, NJ that day, I had no idea you were in Woodbourne! I believe that was CSX Q417.
Greatest.Train channel. Ever!
The north folk southern dash 9 was a Pennsylvanian. it was made in erie, Pennsylvania in 2001.
0:50 nice!
FINALLY! METRO NORTH RAILROAD! Where are you rn?
I am back in California, but not for long. Expect to see a longer Metro North video (or two) in the coming months.
CoasterFan2105 can you do more videos of Amtrak California trains
omg you did the LIRR! i railfan there whenever i am in long island!
Coasterfan2105, I live on the east coast in Massachusetts. Sometimes on numerous occasions, I see commuter trains on the MBTA whenever I go out somewhere around my state, especially at Boston's North and South Stations.
3:06 that steam engine has a nice whistle!
4:03 nice catch of that diesel with a narrow nose, and a wide body! I find that a neat combination!
5:28 that train has a nice horn too!
6:04 that's quite a rare catch of an NJT loco running long end first with one coach!
6:12 That tunnel may be no in use in a few years! A similar fate to the West Barrets tunnel near St. Louis!
6:56 so this train only has one sleeper car, but it has a private car on the end!
7:05 wow! an old diner is still in use!
9:37 that old electric loco is still going on SEPTA services!
10:46 nice catch of a full lash-up of bNSF locomotives east of chicago! They do have some tracks in the east, but I think it's only one line to Atlanta!
Thank you! Yes, there was a lot of cool stuff on the east coast! The BNSF was a bit of a surprise but as I understand it, that particular train with BNSF power was a regular occurrence until recently.
4:03 GP40FH-2
SEPTA STILL HAS AEM-7s!? One, I thought Amtrak only had them, and two, I also thought Amtrak had the last AEM-7s!
Amtrak, SEPTA, and MARC all had AEM-7s. SEPTA is the only railroad still running them. They should be in service for about one more year.
2:12 Another Awesome K5LA
Train talk idea-Train bells
Would like to do that!
I literally lived on Long Island for a while, and I saw O N L Y M 7 S. I've railfanned the Metro North, and rode on the Strasburg, on the NYCTA, I've taken the B, Q, and 6 train to Grand Central. Great video!
Glad to see that the LIRR was filmed in this video. Great catches 👍🏼🚆
3:26 The horn sounds good
Wow mike you were all over!!epic vid cant wait for part 2
NYC to strasburg
And more
Thanks Christian!
Thanks my two year old really loves this one.
That is definitely east coast rail in a nutshell... very great job. This earns the sub.
Thank you very much, Gregory!
Nice video!😊😊😊😊
I like your videos
Great video! I really enjoyed the scenery, thanks for sharing :)
Thank you! Glad you liked it :)
Awesome video again Mike!!
Thank you! More NJT soon!
Don’t forget about SEPTA Regional Rail trains racing to Center to Center City Philadelphia
the start was cool
Does anyone know where the shot at
2:36 was taken
Nvm I found it it’s in Woodbourne Pennsylvania
You should have gotten some MBTA and Shore Line East trains.
0:48 Nice catch
I remember seeing Trains in New York. Great Video!
Thanks, Alan!
You should do a "West Coast TRAINS!" video for next Friday!
Good idea! That may need to wait for another trip to the Pacific Northwest!
4:00 nice train!!
I love the mta trains in the video
6:03 i never seen the LH locomotive in NJ Transit
If you ever go back, I can give you some great places to spot on Long Island.
I may have to take you up on that!
Thanks I love metro north.
Best rr on earth.
( in my opinion )
It would be better if they increased the maximum speed to 100 on the lines.
But the only locomotive that goes slower than 100 mph is the Bl20gh well at least for
Passenger service.
And not on the port Jervis line.
I like the New Jersey train:)
I see that you captured train footage at narberth, it's a great place to get nice camera shots of passing trains.
You make the best work nice catch of trains KEEP IT UP!!!!
Nice. Could you do a Train Talk on Geared steam locomotives and maybe another one on switchers?
Thanks. I really want to do geared locomotives and I have just about everything I need to do that. Only thing I'm waiting for is to get video of a climax in operation. Since there are so few of them, it may take a while. There is only 1 that currently runs in the United States.
There is One Climax Locomotive running at The White Mountain Central Railroad in Lincoln New Hampshire.
I'm glad you went to my home state of new jersey
I enjoy watching your videos
i like train, thx coasterFan2105
thank u
Nice footage at Bryn Mawr. I see you've visited the greater Philadelphia area. Great work!
Thank you very much! There will be a lot more of SEPTA at various locations in the not too distant future.

The Long Island Rail Road (reporting mark LI), often abbreviated as the LIRR, is a commuter rail system in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of New York, stretching from Manhattan to the eastern tip of Suffolk County on Long Island. With an average weekday ridership of 354,800 passengers in 2016, it is the busiest commuter railroad in North America. It is also one of the world's few commuter systems that runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round. It is publicly owned by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which refers to it as MTA Long Island Rail Road.
2:34 does anybody know what exactly those flat cars are hauling?
2:01 the strasburg railroad is the oldest line in the east coast.
LHF Passenger Geep! Rare find, even it is an extra move.
I was quite surprised to see it!

tracks are more rust colored, than out west.

Great videos. Next time please tell me when you go to Hamilton Station because I really would have come down to say hi. (Since it's a 15 minute bike for me to get there)
Metro North is common around my area, so is CSX and Amtrak
What type of horn does the NJ transit use?
Entertaining and very well presented
Thank you very much!
The fact that you just made a video on the east coast, gave an odd rush to my body because I knew every area here. Thank you man on doing a video on Metro-North, New Jersey Transit, and many more! You gave me more of an insight on how beautiful P42's are racing along the Hudson, and how amazing the New Jersey scene can be outside the city, thank you!

0:37 Bear Mountain Bridge
What's better? N&W M class( 475 ) or N&W J class ( 611 )? Also, east coast for the win! If you go up more north, you're most likely to see electric wires for locomotives.
iv been waiting for this lol . and i like ^^
Thanks!
CoasterFan2105 U Reply :O
When I can!
