The difference in talent between the two teams were clear tonight but the sharks managed to make it a competitive game. Hopefully Granlund was ok, he's one of our best players so it's not a good sign to see him get injured like that. We could be seeing Askarov make his sharks debut tomorrow in St. Louis which would be very interesting.
I have been saying since the start of the year that this was how the lines should look. Honestly surprised it took so long to finally get to it. Robo/Hintz/Johnston for Orion's Belt 2.0. Himbos back together to keep making magic happen. Babysitter Benn and the kids taking advantage of the Bourque/Stank chemistry that was built in the AHL. Daddy on that high energy forechecking 4th line to make it a bit more of a scoring threat and able to be trusted and rolled more often. It just made so much sense. Granted, the Sharks aren't exactly a true test of the viability of the lines, but I think this was an adequate teaser of what this lineup should be able to do. I hope PDB doesn't immediately change them back.
@peanutmwo6001 I should clarify I specifically meant the forward lines. I had no idea what the "ideal" setup would be with them because Dumba and Boosh were gonna be basically unkowns for us. Other than Miro finally getting time on the left, the rest is an experiment to me. D is gonna take like half the season to really figure out chemistry with the new guys, and it's not even a guarantee that we'll stick with them. They don't have NMCs after all.
@peanutmwo6001 Pavs gap can be filled. By the end of the playoffs last year he was mostly ineffective. Johnston won't provide the exact same tools (like tipping expertise), but he'll be more than successful on the top line, and I think Bourque will continue to grow as the season progresses. Enough at least to be equal or better than what Pavs was providing in the end. The main thing you lose there is the leadership, which the other vets seem to be doing a good job of anyway. Tanev though...yea gonna need some work on the RHD on that front lol
Cody Ceci...off the bar. That's the sound of Sharks. No luck either. When Mikael Granlund was injured, they lost their best playerl and they will dive. UFF.
Yeah, maybe/probably they did dive few times, but Dallas played more dirty, than Sharks, lot dirty, although I didn't see the whole game, so I can't say for sure!/. But where were the Refs!?? Where!?!? Granlund injuring like this/that way, was not good to watch and see, by the 1 or 2 Dallas players hitting into his face with an elbow or something like that!?? Ca'moon!?!? I'm trying to be just fair, but seeing especially my home countries player/players got hit like that or other Finnish player in other Team, like Mikko Rantanen getting a penalty, by not almost touching to the Brad Marchant, who fell in one game way way too easily, yes, Brad was cheating and big time, but not the first time, no!/. And not the only player in the League = in the NHL who has and probably will cheat again!. That is non sportsmanship or something like that for sure! It gets me angry and sad and not just little bit but quite a lot to see something like that!/. There should be penalties and/or non penalties and no too much of violence in the NHL and so on = and elsewhere!/.
You didn't watch the game, did you? This was a 3-2 game with 2 minutes to go. Dallas added 2 EN. Sharks played an elite team tight. When you're in the middle of a rebuild, you can take a lot of psoitives from results like these. This team isn't giving up 10 GA/G like last year.

Stars played so dirty
Anyone have the angle that shows the elbow to Granluns face? I only got the Dallas feed where they didn’t show it.
The Sharks, a bottom dweller, kept the scoreboard close vs a Top 5 team in the league. The 2 EN made this scoreline way bigger than it deserved to be.
Granlund quietly having another great season on the bottom feeder sharks team.
Certain fanbases are tested to the max. Well done the Stars!
Love seeing fan wearing the Stankoven jersey in the stands! Go Stank!
it will never be not weird to play our former guys; however, Robo, Hintz, and Johnston looked MUCH better this game!

@@Zharghar08 idk about Miro though it’s hard to tell if he’s still adjusting to the new d core or not

@@Zharghar08 true, ig we'll just have to see in time if the Pavs-Tanev gap can be filled

Stankovic is a new Star ✨ among Stars.
What do ya know? Pete moves the 4th liner back to the 4th line and gives Robertson and Hintz a talented winger and they pop off. Weird.
Stars can we play like this more...please ....jeez😂
Let's go Stars!!
This video Quality is straight hot grabage
Both teams carried by Finns, by the way :D
Dadonov is the star!
Sharks defence is sadly so lacking..
They are still early in their rebuild. Can't expect much.
Let’s go Stars
the sharks need to stop taking their goalie out in the last few minutes but good game played by the sharks

Dallas 😎🧦✌🤝👍
Go stars!
Oh, San Jose Sharks...how I wish you were more than this.
Yea, being down by a goal to Dallas with 90 seconds left.. what a disaster.

You guys really couldn't prevent one of the last two 90 second goals TO DESTROY MY MONEY TONIGHT?? F THE SHARKS
You destroy your own money yourself buddy
зачем счёт писать сразу в описании?! дизлайк
Tough loss for the Sabres of the West.
The Sabres of the West would be Utah (formerly Arizona).
