    Great to hear about the performance of those tyres Warro because the sure make that bike look great, especially in blue haha.

      Couldn't agree more! i'm happy with the tyres but not as good as the combo i put on the suzuki vstrom 250 SX

    Given where you live and the type of riding that you're doing, these tyres are well suited, Warro.The noise symptoms you describe are very similar to those I always encountered when I was driving Land-Rovers, back in the day. Saying that the front of the bike lifted when the missus got on the back is a minefield, mate! Brave man! 🤣

      yeah but i didn't make her walk it out...lol i may go back shortly on the vstrom sx. apart from that tyre are good. i was out today on a dirt road run...solo
      actually did a clip up later today.
      all the best!

    London calling, thanks for the tyre advice I think I’ll stick to the road tyres until they wear out. Have to say you Misses was brave going on the back over the rough she must be tough and you don’t see many people two up off tarmac. Cheers for now.

      yeah i cant see her back on that rack in the near future. she said pretty rough ride there. out today solo on dirt and clip up later today.
      those tyres run well on dirt and a softer ride too

    A good choice, Warro. The low-sprung weight and wider stance of the Classic make the tyre selection fairly obvious if you live near dirt, mud or rutted surfaces. The side-stand lean can always be sorted out with a flat plate weld or carrying a 5lb brick under the seat

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 месяца назад

      that brick idea is one way to look at it...lol all the best!

    Very neat how you customized the bike functional and looks wise for that cheap. Well done.

    Looks great mate, reminds me of when I was a kid, I had a suzuki b120 with nobbly tyres on,I loved it nearest thing I had to a scrambler, great fun and old memories 👍🏍🇬🇧🙂

      i tried them and they were no good so no longer on the bike.

    I had Mita E07+ on my Pan Am, similar slow steering problem, that I only notice when I put the original Scorcher tyres back on. I had no problems on sealed roads in the wet, and I ride pretty aggressive on the Pan Am.

      strnge thing is when i fitted these to my suzuki 250sx previous clip two days back -no issues on that bike

    Wise words Warro! Always ride sensibly with a passenger especially if it’s the wife!😉 Dirty dirty Classic 🤟

      yeah i could see trouble brewing if i set off up that new section of track road with a bike not really balanced...lol
      i'd been over the top before on the halcyon blue so knew what or how steep it really is.
      anyway next time back i will run the suzuki vstrom 250 sx and my bet is it will run that hill with absolute ease.
      all the best!

    Looks cool, I've got the same classic but for off road use I prefer my 2000 Suzuki DRZ, mostly because it's much lighter 😉

    G'day Warro , Neville here. I've only just bought a classic 350. Reborn and I want to put knobbies on it as well because I do a lot of bush exploration.
    I'm not sure if you mentioned it. I didn't pick it up. Would you mind just writing down in the comments, the type of tires and the specifications?.
    Thanks very much mate and all the best to you

      check out my previous clip on the suzuki vstrom 250 sx. if i was buying new tyres again i think this is the way to go.
      same brand and tyre rear with a different front tyre.
      that combo is extremely good and i think better than these

    I thought you was roughing up the guards to paint them gloss black. Will you be stressing the tank and sidepanels? Look forward to see you ride the off road tracks.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 месяца назад +1

      have no plans to touch the tank or side panels as it would be very difficult to get those especlly the tank back to a new look.
      i like the look of a bitzer you could say ...lol

    Nice one Warro, the sanded patches on the mudguards match up well with the colour of the tank. Have you tried to air down the tyres to about 15psi for off road work. ??

    • @jurassicnev67
      @jurassicnev67 3 месяца назад

      It's a good point. I usually run my knobbies on my other bike at around 15 to 20 psi

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 месяца назад

      it runs pretty well on the dirt so im not sure how the tube tyres would handle it and the risk of a pinched tube.
      overall for what i do i think it will be good or far better than the stock ones

    I think the "sandpaper" are a future regret.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 месяца назад +1

      maybe...lol but this bike was a red/chrome and i still have the original red/chrome guards and tank in perfect order so its just a straight swap back.
      all the best!
