The D&Ds at the end sound the best, of course the performance work and tuning helped them also. The Mutazu were in second place in my book, the Tabs were too high pitched for my taste, didn't have the same throaty sound. Thanks for all the videos, great information.
You have all those slip on mufflers. While you were in the Dyno, I would have tried the 3 different mufflers to see what the numbers were on all three with your 124. You have a lot of viewers that want to know so that would have been great info. I know they reccomended the D&D mufflers as that was the total brand exhaust, but myself, being a TAB owner and fan, would love to see the numbers compared with the TABs on your 124 and even the Mutazu mufflers. Maybe you can treat us with a video of those results.
The Matuza megaphone’s had the deepest sound but that was before your engine upgrade and head pipe change. I like the way the D&D system sounds and they should be the best performance wise. I run the D&D two into one, with a ghost pipe on my 2017 RGSpl with the stage 4 kit. You are making me wish I had done the Zippers kit instead. Your bike sounds awesome, keep up the videos.
Very hard choice for #1. Either the Mutazu or D & D. If "squeezed" I would give an edge up to D & D only for their excellent reputation. Both of them sounded really GREAT !
My personal* preference for sound ONLY, and in order: My #1- Mutazu. #2- D&D. #3- Bone Stockers. And comin' in dead last at #4- TAB Perf. Here's the kicker tho: To me, the TABs "LOOK" the best, but honestly, I'm not as thrilled with their sound flow. Also of note: the "cams" REALLY make the bike sound athletic, more defined. I like that "cammed UP" sound! Nice vid TT! Thanks for uploading this one. It's nice to have the awareness, when trying to decide what to go with.
I’m a bit late on this one but my preference is the D&D exhaust kit. For me the sound has just right mix of deep rumble without that loud rattling sound when the rpms are revved up. Be safe. Be well. God bless. 🙏😎
I would like to hear the Tabs with the DnD header, also like the look better with the Tabs from behind, they fill up the cutouts. Nice work and thanks for your time and sharing your bikes progress with us.
For pure sound either the D&D and TAB you can’t go wrong as both are close. I’d give it to the D&D because it’s integrated into your build and widely noted for their complete systems, X pipe to exhaust systems. However both sound phenomenal. Life’s short, just buy the bike. Nice job Tall.
That's on my birthday list some D&D exhaust sounds good so I will mention it to my wife an see what happens your bike runs an sound awesome brother take care an great video an god bless
D&D for the win, nice clean sound. The Tabs are loud but have a "dirty" sound if you like that type of thing. Honestly not a true comparison for all 4 considering you had all the motor work done with just the D&D.
Nice video. Clear and to-the-point. I'm thinking about putting some slipons on my 2017 Ultra Classic so I've been watching a lot of exhaust videos. Keep up the good work!
I have V&H true dual head pipes, with screaming eagle 3.5" mufflers on my twin cam right now. S/E255 cams made it sound killer, I want the exact same tone but just a notch louder. I hope I cam find it. You said deep rumble and that's exactly it. My twin-cam sounds like a monster motor going down the road it's so deep
I have a 2006 Road Glide with 4 inch black TAB BAM stick slip ons with medium baffles and 2 into 2 headers. I took off the Thunder Headers off ( just too loud). I like the sound of the Mutazu Megaphones. If I was to do it again, I would be tempted to do the Mutazu's.
I liked the sound and the look of the Tab performance pipes. Nice vid. You really provide a public service with this one because lots of guys are trying to decide what kind of pipes would sound great on their bike. Be well! 🙂
Hard to find pipes that sound great and actually perform well, in my opinion D&d have great sounding, one of the best performing and best quality. Hard to beat D&d.
Mister, not real sure you'll see this, hope that you will. About to get myself a bike, first one i'll own. Haven't been on one in 40 years, and never on street. At 58 i see Harley Davidson has made some great strides in their bikes. Causing me, to give serious look to owning one myself. I've been looking at the 2020 Ultra Limited...but, coming in at around 917 pds @ ready to ride, not real sure it's what's best to start off on. What is getting me, is that a ride into work, is 40 miles at 6:00 am here in Texas, its dark, country road, with deer and a few skunks (4 legged kind), and wild hogs. I want the lights on the front that the Ultra Limited offers, to light up what's on the road, and to light up, that i'm coming down the road. I want the heads up display (Infotainment System) that i'm seeing, just to many goods things here on this newer models that sways to H.D.. Here in Texas, i'll need to take a class to get my endorsement, which does not bother me, really looking forward to it. Yet, as a first bike, am i over doing it? Not getting any real good answers. Hoping that someone can help steer me along. I must say in closing, liked the scripture passage you posted on the back of your bike. Yours in Christ. ScottishxPride, Texas. P.S. Last ones sounded the best.
Don’t know how I missed you switching to the tabs. Me personally I liked the sound of the first slip ons over the tabs. The d&d sound nice. Hopefully d&d will sell just the headpipe itself. Looks nice. Good video as always
Good video thank you for the information you provided for us. I personally like the second set of pipes you put on the bike just gave it a deeper sound that's just my opinion. keep up the good work and keep the videos coming🏍🏍🏍
I put a similar set of 4" megaphones on my '09 road king but they where a bit too loud for my tastes, after a day or so of riding it took my ears awhile to return to normal. I then installed a set S.E. diffuser disc mufflers, lost a little power vs the megaphones but my ears are happier.
All those slips ons and full systems are great and they do the job and the sound that they want to create. There is another slip on muffler you should look into, called Psycho Mufllers made by 4DXtreme Custom Pipes in Houston, Texas for the price and the sound, in my opinion they have a better sound than the ones you mention in your video. Good content, good video.
Looks like the front cylinder has either some blow by or is running richer then the rear cylinder 🤔. Hope it goes away as you break in the 124ci.. after 500-1000 miles you should expect it to go away. If not let Zippers know
It's always best to choose a system that will work with the rest of your set-up ie c.i.d. , cam , intake etc. That being said I thought the megaphone's sounded best. Thanks for the comparison they all sound good 👍
Personally, I don't want my bike to make a lot of noise, so I stick with the stock, but that D&D sounded good on the dyno. Man does that thing rip. Put it in sixth gear, pin the throttle, and blink and you're bouncing off the rev limiter. You are a tire makers dream customer! Also, did you know that people can see your license plate when you're out riding around?
I like the them in this order,1.tab 2.matuzu 3.n&d 4.stock,btw i hab a 2019 street glide standard black &chrome and upgraded to a 2019 street glide special baracudda silver,I'm on the fence on doing a motor upgrade the 114 is ok for now,you and your family keep doing volgs and ride safe &hard.
I have the 17 street glide special had neighbor haters hated them even the the bassanni headpipe then the tab zombies sounded better then did vance&hines dresser duals with the zombies now its loud and have sound out both sides before it was pretty much only the right side
I know this is not what you want to read, but, I like the stock the best. A little throaty when you get on it, yet not too objectionable and east to listen to on a 500 mi ride. There did seem to be a lot of oil smoke from the right exhaust pipe in all the videos. Not sure why.
Where you live brother? I'm having the 472 put on my bike in three weeks. HPI exhaust Fuel Moto air cleaner 472 cam S&S oil pump, camp plate, lifters Fueling tappets Andrews crank sprocket SE high flow manifold Daytona 7.1 injectors Can't wait man, hoping my bike sounds lopey like a twin-cam like yours does.
Was wondering. Do you still get that little bit of smoke from the front cylinder when you get on it? Or, was that just do to the oil seepage that Zippers found when they tore down your motor to build the 124?
I can see more lights comes on in every single exhaust You've put in. Especially I like those narrow on saddlebags and two vertically next to fender. Where did get them ?
I would love to hear what your Dino numbers were after the d&d exhaust By the way I got some great results using screamin eagle Factory take-offs from a 2016 114 inch bike and put them on my Street glide with a brand new set of Cobra true duals on my 06 Street glide with a twin cam 95 and 203 SC cams and air cleaner.
Tall, I tried the cobra nh, but not as deep, also dna w louvered baffle, dna had terrible workmanship on end caps and lost deep note! Where murtazu quality chrome???
I have the D&D 2n1 with stage III witg powervison on my 2018 Anniversary Edition Ultra Limited, after your video i might do the sleeper kit. I live 30min from zipper first time hearing of them. So what's next for your dad's bike lol
I'm not sure if I missed it but did you ever say what kind of power and torque you were getting with the d&d exhaust, air cleaner, tuner and cam. Just curious as I was thinking about getting a road glide 2018 with the 107
The D&Ds at the end sound the best, of course the performance work and tuning helped them also. The Mutazu were in second place in my book, the Tabs were too high pitched for my taste, didn't have the same throaty sound. Thanks for all the videos, great information.
Man that's a hard one, I still love those Tabs🤷🏾♂️
Laying here getting fluids and watching. Lol nurse is like whatya watching, oh that's nice sounding Harley!! Lol!! That zippers is amazing!
You have all those slip on mufflers. While you were in the Dyno, I would have tried the 3 different mufflers to see what the numbers were on all three with your 124. You have a lot of viewers that want to know so that would have been great info. Matazu Megaphones are the best sound you had! Would love to hear how they sound with the D&D headers
Not enough back pressure, I made that same mistake and bike lagged till 3100rpm! M8 ! Sounds great or torque/value in upgrades!!??
The Matuza megaphone’s had the deepest sound but that was before your engine upgrade and head pipe change. I like the way the D&D system sounds and they should be the best performance wise. I run the D&D two into one, with a ghost pipe on my 2017 RGSpl with the stage 4 kit. You are making me wish I had done the Zippers kit instead.
Your bike sounds awesome, keep up the videos.
I love the TAP PERFORMANCE the sound is so great DEEP And LOUD TKHS for Sharing
Got to say I liked the deep rumble of the megaphone, would love to hear them with the new headers and tune kit
Very hard choice for #1. Either the Mutazu or D & D.
If "squeezed" I would give an edge up to D & D only for their excellent reputation. Both of them sounded really GREAT !
wow I'm seriously diggin that end cap on the TAB. Soon as it came out of the box i was up on the screen. Those are awesome-looking.
Love how you used NOT your bike in all these pipes (yes I noticed the saddle bags) but you said you did. So I believe you man. Great pipes.
I would like to hear the Tabs with the DnD header, also like the look better with the Tabs from behind, they fill up the cutouts. Nice work and thanks for your time and sharing your bikes progress with us.
I was going to said the same thing 😎
Tab sounds best. Great video.
Man I gotta get a Harley.
To be honost, the stock pipes don't sound to bad. Deep enough, just needs some volume.
Very nice presentation Tall ! Bless ya buddy ! Love the channel !
All good stuff, i'd like to hear those megaphones on the dyno.
D&D wins for me. I was hoping to see the impact of each system on power/torque at the end of the video
D&D all the way , what a sound 🤤
I have D&D on my 2015 Road Glide Special 2 into 1 and they sound freaking awesome... thanks for the video
That's on my birthday list some D&D exhaust sounds good so I will mention it to my wife an see what happens your bike runs an sound awesome brother take care an great video an god bless
After you mentioned the space being filled out around the saddlebags with 4.5" it did look much better!
Keep vids coming, enjoy watching your channel.
Saving for same set up you have 124 sleeper, D&D system
D&D for the win, nice clean sound. The Tabs are loud but have a "dirty" sound if you like that type of thing. Honestly not a true comparison for all 4 considering you had all the motor work done with just the D&D.
I like the sound of the D&D the best. However i like the way the tabs fill up the extended bag cutouts better. Either way you can’t go wrong.
Nice video. Clear and to-the-point. I'm thinking about putting some slipons on my 2017 Ultra Classic so I've been watching a lot of exhaust videos. Keep up the good work!
Loved the way the D&D sounded best.
Those Trumpets were like thunder!!!
I liked the diamond cut tips
They sounded really good
I have a 2006 Road Glide with 4 inch black TAB BAM stick slip ons with medium baffles and 2 into 2 headers.
Be well! 🙂
#4 I had and liked V&H monster oval on my 2012 Street Glide they had a deep sound. Enjoyed your video.
Hard to find pipes that sound great and actually perform well, in my opinion D&d have great sounding, one of the best performing and best quality. Hard to beat D&d.
Try Rhineharts , their Moto 4.5 sounds GREAT, look amazing and perform very well . Not to mention the folks at Rhinehart are great to deal with 😁👍
Mister, not real sure you'll see this, hope that you will. About to get myself a bike, first one i'll own. Haven't been on one in 40 years, and never on street. I must say in closing, liked the scripture passage you posted on the back of your bike.
Yours in Christ.
ScottishxPride, Texas.
P.S. Last ones sounded the best.
TAb sounded awesome!!
3&4 sounded awesome! But 4 took with that rumble and growl😎
I like the tab,I think I'll put them on my 2017.
I still think the Tab sounded the best and looked the best
that bike sounds good with every set of mufflers. of course, the D & D's sound the best!
Again very nice bike I liked the slipons they sounded good it's my choice thanks for sharing
They all sound good. Being frugal, I would stay with the stock.
The mega phones sounded great, but did you still have the cats in. With your new headers I bet they would really sound good. Great job man
Tab was nastyyy!
Charles Wright. I like the second set of slip on. Just my opinion but they all sound good 👍
D&D sounds the best.
Matazu sounds best to my ears...
I put a similar set of 4" megaphones on my '09 road king but they where a bit too loud for my tastes, after a day or so of riding it took my ears awhile to return to normal. I then installed a set S.E. diffuser disc mufflers, lost a little power vs the megaphones but my ears are happier.

The Growl on the D&D 👍🏻. Killer!
Looks like the front cylinder has either some blow by or is running richer then the rear cylinder 🤔.

Feel free to send that second pair to the poor preacher in South GA
Good video I liked the tabs best I think. Good vid brother.
Tab sounds great
Gotta go with the Tabs !! Nice bike

Happy New Year Tall 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I have the 17 street glide special had neighbor haters hated them even the the bassanni headpipe then the tab zombies sounded better then did vance&hines dresser duals with the zombies now its loud and have sound out both sides before it was pretty much only the right side
The 3rd. Exhaust 🤙
All good pipes. How are you liking the 124 sleeper kit?
I know this is not what you want to read, but, I like the stock the best. A little throaty when you get on it, yet not too objectionable and east to listen to on a 500 mi ride. There did seem to be a lot of oil smoke from the right exhaust pipe in all the videos. Not sure why.
I like the second one keep your videos coming
GREAT JOB BUD, AWESOME VIDEOS! WHICH OF THE 2 MADE THE BEST POWER ON THE DYNO? THANKS A BUNCH...
What did you like and dislike about the different exhausts? I have been looking at the Tabs. Appreciate any input you have. Love the channel.
Mutazu FTW 🙌🏾 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I like the sound of the D&D but the looks of the tips on TAB.
I run the 4 inch Big Louies on my stock 2016 SGS but I also run Reinhart 4 inch on our 2017 Tri Glide and like them. both
Where you live brother? I'm having the 472 put on my bike in three weeks.
HPI exhaust
Fuel Moto air cleaner
472 cam
S&S oil pump, camp plate, lifters
Fueling tappets
Andrews crank sprocket
SE high flow manifold
Daytona 7.1 injectors
Can't wait man, hoping my bike sounds lopey like a twin-cam like yours does.
D&D WINS!
👍💯
Was wondering. Do you still get that little bit of smoke from the front cylinder when you get on it? Or, was that just do to the oil seepage that Zippers found when they tore down your motor to build the 124?
I was wondering the exact same thing, you definitely have blow by on your front cylinder. Probably the Rings have not yet seated.
I can see more lights comes on in every single exhaust You've put in. Especially I like those narrow on saddlebags and two vertically next to fender. Where did get them ?
Yes tall I think the tabs sounded best to me but I'm sure the D&D are best for your set up
KNOX shop still looks same. Nice vids.
Trying to save up now. Only have straight pipes hollowed out stocks
And I like the Tabs
How much horsepower do you get when you changed to Tab Performance mufflers
I would love to hear what your Dino numbers were after the d&d exhaust
By the way I got some great results using screamin eagle Factory take-offs from a 2016 114 inch bike and put them on my Street glide with a brand new set of Cobra true duals on my 06 Street glide with a twin cam 95 and 203 SC cams and air cleaner.
Great vid. Well done ...Thanks.
Tall, I tried the cobra nh, but not as deep, also dna w louvered baffle, dna had terrible workmanship on end caps and lost deep note! Where murtazu quality chrome???
The got golden around the welds after about 2k on them.
Thx for your vids TT, I enjoy 'em. Keep em coming
I have the D&D 2n1 with stage III witg powervison on my 2018 Anniversary Edition Ultra Limited, after your video i might do the sleeper kit. I live 30min from zipper first time hearing of them. So what's next for your dad's bike lol
I put Khrome Werks HP on mine. Deep tone without the crackling.
I'm not sure if I missed it but did you ever say what kind of power and torque you were getting with the d&d exhaust, air cleaner, tuner and cam. Just curious as I was thinking about getting a road glide 2018 with the 107
would have been nice to see dyno results after all the work changing them.
The megaphones, hands down....
Hey Traveling Tall. Where did you purchase the mutazu slip ons. I have a 2020 flhc and cant find any to fit it.
I went with CFR and love them.
Hard sell for me as I have D&D pipes with Tabs slip ons with zombie baffles so I have a mix of what I call the best
Love the sound of the megaphones but I’m sure the D&D outperforms them even in a stock setup
This intro music sets off my ocd
Trying to get my road glide to a nice sound ! Thank you!
I got to go with the tab bam sticks👍🏿
Tabs 🔥
How was the performance difference between the first, and last two? I’m a Rinehart Racing guy...but they’re all good. Enjoy your stuff, too tall!
