    This is why I bought your product. I read the email this morning about the zombie rings and wondered when a RUclips video would be out and here it is. Keep up the great work.

    I purchased TAB 2/2 Header with the Zombie Slip ons--on my 2019 CVO Street Glide...I think I am going to add the Z rings---the bike sounds great, but now with a bit of restriction it should be complete---thank you!

    @Tab Performance. What's the chances we get a sound clip of the Zombie rings installed on the TS 111 for us Indian lovers out there?

    • @TABPerformance
      @TABPerformance  5 лет назад +1

      Our Indian, 19 Springfield Dark Horse, is currently at the tube bender getting fitted for testing on the new header. Once we get the bike back we will be getting into that right away, unfortunately we won't be swinging through to pick the bike back up until March. When we do, expect a lot more Indian content for sure across the board.

    So it brings the stock bottom end torch closer to stock, I figured taking away the restriction would be an issue since the catalytic converter is in the muffler of the Harley touring models. I’m very interested in your product this is a game changer for my decision. 2020 Road Glide Special.
    Cheers Donny

    • @TABPerformance
      @TABPerformance  4 года назад +2

      It will but not really much if you have a CAT header still. It is more for the open systems, but the cat header if tuned correctly you should actually improve torque over stock.

    • @dawidos117
      @dawidos117 3 года назад +1

      Touring models don’t have cats in mufflers. Headers are merged into one collector with cat and then into two mufflers. Only Screaming Eagle full exhaust has cats in mufflers.

    Question. I'm about to order the Zombie Rings with Torque Cones and I noticed the difference in the torque cones from the time this video was done to now. Do the current torque cones give you better numbers in the torque on the dyno? By the way, love my 4.5's with the 2.5 medium baffle. I will order the zombie baffles for the times I ride solo. Trying to keep my wife from going deef!! If I make her lose her hearing, she'll just yell at me louder!! LOL!

    • @TABPerformance
      @TABPerformance  Год назад +1

      Hey there, the rings are very similar, they are just more robust, it wasn't a performance change, it was a holding up in the field thing.

    I wish I knew about these I have the bam sticks with zombie baffles on my stage 4 electra glide with true dual headers but running up the mountains started to wear on my ear drums so I ended up putting the tubes on a drill press and precision drilling a few holes in each one while also reworking the packing slightly so it actually works as somewhat of a muffler. It worked really well and still sounds the same just a little quieter. Definitely a fine american made product will buy more in the future for my other bikes

    So I have a new 2022 Roadglide Special, which I just purchased your .50 Cals with the Zombie baffles for, and also your 2-1-2 headpipes. One, do you even make these rings for the .50 and two, would there be any reason to get or not to get these for my set-up?

    • @TABPerformance
      @TABPerformance  2 года назад

      Yes we do make them for the 50 cals and yes you will get a little more restriction, they will help on the low end by moving some of the power to the lower RPMs and they look great. The reason not to would be they do alter the sound minimally and not everyone likes the difference, they also pull from the peak a bit on torque to give to the lower range, so if you don't spend time in the lower range it may feel different to you than someone who spends a lot of time in the lower RPM band.

      We don't have a run without the rings on this video clip. We will be doing another clip with more combinations, for now you'd have to just go to our channel and find a clip of this bike with just the slip-ons.

    Hey guys, what are the torque gains, and how much power would I lose on the top end, at highway speeds?

    • @TABPerformance
      @TABPerformance  5 лет назад +1

      The HP is pretty much the same a half point here or there as the chart progresses. The peak torque on our test actually dipped a little but was more consistent and the area under the curve was greater. There is no straight answer one number answer I can give you as each build, each bike, each rpm range, will change slightly. You can see the side by side charts on the photos we have for the product at the link below.

    Why are these thing crome when going in a black pipe.

    • @TABPerformance
      @TABPerformance  4 года назад +7

      They are bare aluminum actually so you can paint them or do whatever you want. Most of the time they are going on bikes with no cat and will turn black from exhaust in a matter of a hundred miles so not much point in spending dollars driving up the price on a internal part.

    I have installed the z rings and they ruined the sound of the zombie baffles. They cit out the throaty sound zombies have. I'm giving the z rings 2 thumbs down.

    • @TABPerformance
      @TABPerformance  2 года назад

      Sorry to hear they did not work with your preference. Customers do seem to either love them or go back due to liking the sound on zombies better alone. Doesn't seem to be a lot of in between.
