Just installed Tab's on my El Diablo and sounds great and def more power. I went with the mid-range baffles not the zombie. i ride with others and the zombies would be too loud for my fellow riders. the install is simple - went slow and the install was still under an hour (3 bolts per slip-on). i def LOVE the sound and i would def recommend Tab slip-on's to anyone looking to upgrade from stock.
I'm a big fan of TAB. I've had them on 2 different Harleys. Pulling the trigger on a set for my Indian Scout. There are a lot of Manufacturers out there. For me TAB is gonna be hard to beat. Take care.
I enjoy your vids. Thank you. I know this is a year old, but I just bought a Low Rider S a few months ago. I purchased these zombies based on this video but man.... they are loud! I put them on this morning and will order the 2.5 Louvered baffles this afternoon. But you are spot on, great sound, especially when cruising, but the start up and idle is very loud. I think my neighbors will get upset. Hahah... So, thanks for the video, but us old guys may be happier with the 2.5s. We'll see.
must be the medium baffles by tab i have the zombie baffles and they are two times as loud as this. you love the sound of these so you made a good choice for yourself. my 2 zombie baffles were so loud that i use one medium and one zombie on the bike. i checked company initially and they said mixing baffles was ok. now this sound is what i like and need i live in a city that sometimes cars do not know you are around but these baffles let them know,
Following the tunes on spotify as of today! And I actually went to harley today in Aus and I'm sold on the lowrider s...thanks for the awesome content!
I’m going with Tab when my warranty is up. You do need to tune it. Also this does void warranty. The cats are in the slip-ons. On stock exhaust. I might be wrong on your low rider. But on my 2022 heritage it is that way. I have done my research on it.
I asked the guys at my dealer, slip ons don’t void the warranty. Doing the full exhaust does, unless you have a certified harley tech replace it and tune the bike.
@@Im_Schiz It depends on the dealers. Some will some won’t. The cats are in the slip-ons. That’s why. Tab Zombies don’t have cats in them. Harley says if you remove the cats it voids it. EPA thing.
Have a set of new Cobra Neighbor Haters on our new '21 Try-Glide Ultra. **Update to earlier post. Keeping the Cobra's. For some reason, these are louder with my full face helmet on when trying to listen to the H-D Rushmore Helmet w/ built in BT & Speakers. Half helmet they sound great at speed.
Okay Hegshot - sold. I was thinking of a better seat, but want these Zombie! Thoughts on investing with a Tuner? My bike is brand new started 3 miles, getting to 200, don't want to spend installation to HD dealership, but don't want them to go cra cra on Warranty. I will call Tabs for their thoughts.
The great thing about Tab Performance is that they offer 3 different baffles so you have a choice for the noise level. The one thing I can't get past is that they still require heat shields. What's your opinion? I'm leaning towards Rinehart 3.5" slip on.
Don't mean to answer for the man, but those are H-D Endgame passenger foot pegs; got the same ones on my LRS. And I'm guessing that's an H-D mustache crash bar, which, coincidentally, I also have on my bike; guess we got the same taste. I don't know about him, but it doesn't really work as highway pegs, as configured, because the way that heavy breather air filter juts out, it gets in the way of my right foot. I don't know if a taller guy would have the same problem. I'm 5'8" and it doesn't work for me. I saw that another RUclipsr, SkeggST, replaced the heavy breather on his Low Rider ST with an S&S Stealth Air Stinger, which would probably solve that problem. And it looked pretty awesome too.
When did you get on it ? Very generic sound. The S&S Grand National non cat. or the VH Eliminator 300 both have a much more tuned sound at all rpms and both are very good at cruise speed.
Just picked up a new LRS and when I first started it, it reminded me of my mom's old Singer sewing machine. I've looked at the 2-1 systems first, all the hp warriors swear by them. I feel like these are the perfect solution for me. I can do this myself and any added hp is just a bonus.
I hate that sewing machine sound... I hear it over any slip on even those zombie ones... its in there you have to listen for it but it makes me miss the twin cam sound a bit tbh but the performance with the m8 is amazing.
You really should do a tune. On the dyno… your going to lose power if you don’t.. it might sound like you have more power because it sounds better.. but you really should dynotune

Did u have to tune it aftermarket ecm
Fantastic review. I'm getting these installed on my Low Rider ST tomorrow. Can't wait to wake up the neighborhood! :) Well done sir.
Yep. Just ordered a set for the 23 LRST... had to have them shipped to AZ though. Because Kalifornia is afraid of zombies.
Did you ever install these pipes on your bike?

Thank you. I was looking for a pair of slip on’s for my Lowrider S. Great review!
Wow this is amazing,I bought low rider st and was waiting to find the right slip on,you convinced me with those zombies, thanks!

I just went and picked up the same exhaust today ironically enough😂 if I don’t need a tune then I’m installing mine today
They sound amazing💯
I just order some zombie,I was planning to install them next summer but now you convinced me,can’t wait anymore, I hate the factory ones
So I got mine and they are crazy loud freaking love them my only question is do they make the torque z rings for it too
Sounds so much better!
That sounds really good I wish I could afford that bike
Then make that wish come true, pick up more jobs, go back to school, whatever
If you want it hard enough you'll do it
Sounds really good.
Wow 🤩 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I'm wondering because I got a ton of popping now with mine love the sound but not all the popping. Are you running the se tuner
So which do you prefer…… Tab or Rinehart since you have both?
Was that a torx socket in a hex head bolt!!!!!

Rinehart pipes were awesome on the Sgs. Loud when you want it and tamed when you dont
Rineharts we’re quieter on the bike and I feel you get more overall sound with These but either are nice imo
Heat shields are not required.
Sounds awesome man. I dig those 2 up pegs, what are they? And do you ever put your feet up on the crash bar when you're tearin off the highway miles?

Medium baffles ?
I like the tabs. But honestly…. They are far more appropriate for a street Bob. Imo
Does it comes with the gasket?

Oh… how original… never heard the sowing machine comparison 6,000 times
@@drainmonkeys385 You mean sewing machine. I suggest you see an audiologist if in 6000 utterances you've never heard it. Gotta protect those ears.

That’s just absurd 😂
What rear pegs are this? My friend, thanks
Harley Endgame pegs
Yeah so how they running now
Idk man traded the bike for a RGS

Can not ship to California 😩
Come on to a free state bro

They are slip ons there really is no need to tune the bike. With a full system sure but we never tune for slip ons
Tune after install?
No tuning needed. Stock headers and intake are the same.
Potato for a mic lol. I have Tabs and they do sound great though.
The bass needs down tuning....
They don’t ship it to California 👎🏻
yep. harley still sucks.
Sucks fire through the intake and blows lava out the exhaust like a fire breathing dragon
