This is an APU - it has CPU and GPU cores in it. Try mining some GPU-mineable coins on it -- ETC, RVN, DNX, PYI, RXD, etc. If those work, you can run two miners and also mine randomX on the cpu cores.
Most of my mining cpu rig still on the boxes hahaha, really expensived cpu for what it is, hopefully the price will drop soon, the 5800x with xmp is running 9500h/s.
Good Video , I came to this video while searching for Ryzen APU mining performance. but i am looking for mining on Ryzen Laptop based on Zen 3/4 APU with Ultra low power. because i have solar enegery source in a day , i want to utilise the extra electricity in mining
Try it in Windows. That way you can play around with the threads, it may be that running fewer threads or the thread order gives better results. The threads are controlled in the config file in the xmrig folder. I have xmrig running in my workstation. Only need to turn it off when proper working, which is rare.
I don't see any thermal paste or a foil that needs to be removed from the already applied paste. Is it true that there was no foil over it? I don't remember removing any foil during my installation.
Do you really need both cpu-pwr1 and pwr2? Got the exact same setup but I try to find the issue because the pc won't start. Not even a short blink of an LED anywhere, didn't had something like this before..
Srb miner 2.4.5 will utilize that igpu and can get 12-25mhs out of that IGPU... And my 7700x's get 90w, negative 23 offset limit temp 82 . only 2 sticks for ddr5 stable .. at 6000 is all ya need and MSI and ASRock both lock up for me over 6200mhz on ddr5 regardless of latency. 11000khs on random x and AMD products suck on hive. All Nvidia on hive and AMD on windows hate fighting clocks.. just opinion have a great day..

The L3 cache on the 8700g is 16mb. RandomX requires 2mb per thread. You can only utilize half the threads.
Bless you
Would that explain the dismal results on Verus & Yes?
Sure glad you made this video. I bought the same apu had all the problems.
Technicals told me to tell you, you're wrong. It's cpu, not "apu"...I think...maybe I'm wrong. Reply in the thread if I'm wrong.
@@GN0M1X AMD label them as an Apu .
EVERYONE IS WRONG IT'S CALLED A FANDANGLE
After powering off since uploading this, now it wont boot AT ALL even with 1 dimm. Red cpu/yellow dram lights back on in full effect.

Glad you’re back man…BTW I’m the same way with installing chips…GPUs I will slam in with no regret, but CPUs are like delicate flowers.
Beautiful, delicate, little sweet angel baby flowers
The top speed is recommended to use only the two sticks. 4 sticks will have 2 banks of dual channel and can have issues with the overclocked ram.
Agree with @BlackHatTeam. I had a 5600G that would only run at 75% load on Nicehash because of the L3 cache and graphics processor.

Meant to add. I have a 5900x
No ryzen master support when i tried, perhaps soon
Watched on my Phone and Laptop also. I hope it helps! You should try near 0.9 V and Base clock, my 7xxx has the best efficiency near that.
At first I thought damn that's a big enough knife to open boxes...then you picked it up. It's like a real knife but smaller!😀
My desk knife. Use it for opening letters & dosing my morning creatine lol

That cpu has low l3 cache so the hash will be low on most algos
Bro update latest version of BIOS , this APU faces STAMP issue . I mean sep 2024 STAMP PATCH .
watchng you build, i noticed you did not put heat paste on processor.
I think with 4 sticks of ram you have to change the fabric ratio
Discovering this downfall of 4sticks now trying to repurpose my 1950x
Has to be a ram problem. I got a ryzen 7 5800x doing almost 8khs on random x at around 120 watts.
not good to put 4 sticks in at max mem speed. May on intel you can.

AM5 board? try 1 stick of ram first
That APU has a Ryzen 780M mobile GPU that can do MUCH more than what you are doing with it.
And would like to see test on veruscoin
Wow just noticed that that new AMD CPU has avx-512f instruction set .I how you do a bunch of test with it
I have no idea what that even is. Sheesh I thought CPU's were supposed to be easy lol
No thermal paste?
Was pre-applied to the cooler
Bro if i put rtx 4060 with ryzen 7 8700g what do u think
For mining or a desktop rig? That's dank for a workstation no doubt
Watching on laptop and TV at the same time!

I think this CPU needs to be at least $50 cheaper.
sir, if i put rx 7600 xt with this cpu what do you think?
For mining or just as a workstation?

I’m building an 96gb 8700GB for AI & Machine Learning. It’s architecture is RDNA 3.5 🧐.
This was for my main computer/editing rig at the time
Damn your fast
Lol i see i posted to soon
Your audio????? Another narcisist! The motherboard audio. No offense
Political opinion: people should care less about others' sexual lives. It's an absurd that this has even become a political opinion... but whatever.
Would love to see some test on yespower algo (vishai)
No OC UV just running the miner in windows 2kh
