The former Lewis actor, 41, sparked controversy on Question Time, saying the charge of "racism" over treatment of the Duchess of Sussex was "boring".

I think a classical liberal is more of a conservative but can't bring themselves to admit it because of the value they place in their peer groups. It is so refreshing to hear Laurence speak his mind, and quite frankly having to courage to do so. I have felt what he is saying for a long time, and felt the passive aggressive vibe for a long time too. It is time we stopped apologising for our very existences and express how we feel about this phenomenon that is wokism and more. Brexit brought it right out into centre court, and I was attached many times regarding my view on Brexit, however I feel now that at least we know what we are dealing with and we really do need to wake up and stay awake, things are pretty worrying now when statues are damaged and removed because the woke bragade say they simply have a problem with them.
I have worked on a tv series with Laurence and found him to be very easygoing unlike others that are supposed to be. He was an absolute gent to every single person that had any contact whatsoever. If I get the chance to work alongside him again I will do so in the knowledge that we will have to work hard but enjoy every minute. Please don’t judge him by class there is good and bad in all classes.
