Interesting concept. I like the personal touch better than the typical tire places around and I'm not a fan of others driving my vehicles. I've gotten to the point where I'm the guy who brings the wheels from the car to have tires replaced. I really like that tire machine and balancer, very cool stuff. Looks like a professional operation: tape weights where required, good attitude and no worn out gear on that rig. Nice.
Hey Will - this is very cool - thanks for the video - I will use them on my next set of tires. I cant stand tire shops - I HATE HATE HATE dealing with them.
Great video well done. Just curious what is the power source to operate all the mounting n balance equipment on the van? I didnt hear a generator only the air compressor.
What does this cost the customer? Compared to a tire change at the shop. I'm considering a tire shop in my country, but are very interested in making it a remote mobile shop instead of a local shop.
I don't remember and have since discarded the invoice. It wasn't a lot considering the personalized service. Seems like I remember about an extra $150 or $200 but, don't hold me to that.
I've heard when you fill the new tires up and when it pops on the lip, with that force of pressure could seat the tire bead slightly off. If you let the air out some so the tire relaxes back, you shouldn't need any or just alittle weight if the tire was made properly.
The Continental tires were factory replacements. The price will very depending size and location. Just hit the link in the description and get a cost for your situation. Thanx for watching.

I loved the service as well.

I agree with everything you said. I also like that they are car enthusiasts so, they seem to take extra care to not scratch your wheels.
@@WillsWheels Being enthusiasts makes a difference!
Great video about the service. OFC I love the ALFA and I do like the flooring. What kind of flooring is this in the garage? thx
Thank you! The flooring is called Swisstrax.
Looks like they needs some air in that van. thats the first time i seen DWS on one. Great Video Will!
It was hot and loud...LOL. I've never seen the DWS either but, I think it's pretty cool. Thanx Terry.

Honestly, I have no idea. Just speculating....additional power may come from a larger alternator or maybe even two.

Good stuff will!!
Thank You
Watch that sensor! Some sensors are more prone to break with certain wheel designs when the bead touches it.
Its all good.

The new tires took half the weight of the OEM tires that came with the car...shocked me.
Which machine are you using??
I have no idea....I was just the customer.
Nice!
Thank you and thanx for watching.
awesome data
never thought this vid would do so well.
Peace

who makes the tyre machines im in Australia and want to start a tyre buisness
I'm sorry but, I don't know the name of the machine. I went back and rewatched the video but, didn't see the manufacturers name.
It looks like a corghi master j touchless.
If you don't mind me asking, how much was the service and the tire?
$225 per tire, plus taxes, disposal fees, and the service fee. Just shy of $1100 all in. Wish I would have kept the receipt so I could be exact.
@@WillsWheels I'm working on getting this started in my area is why I asked, did you get a glimpse as to what brand of tire machine was used?
I just contact Derek. I live in Knoxville area . I want to start business
