- After taking some time off to focus on work I am back with a new Ultimate Play-set Scale MOC - The Havoc Marauder belonging to Clone Force 99, better known as THE BAD BATCH!
This rugged ship has folding wings, opening interior with ample seating for all of the show's characters, plenty of details inside and out, as well as an included stand!

I think that I already commented on this before, but now that I have built it, it is an amazing build! I have it right in front of me all the time and I enjoy looking and playing with it. Not to give you a big head about it, but of all the MOC's I have built from you and others, yours are the most sturdy and don't fall apart during the building process. Finished mine today, after six weeks build time and three orders of parts (no idea what went wrong there...). Awesome model! Well worth the money. I did change the colour to light bluish grey (and to dbg in the cockpit-to-cabin section) (and this definitely added to the multiple orders). Building the wings was too delicate for my taste/skills, also not a big fan of constantly turning the assembly. Instructions were 97% good, could use one pass of revisions for 100%. I added/changed about 6 pieces small pieces to better fill in gaps. Not a fan of the fixed landing gear. --> All in all: Would buy again :)
That's so sick! Way better than the set in my opinion, coloring and interior and proportions and everything. I know it's bigger, but still. I feel like more care went into this. Love it!

This is absolutely amazing, Ive seen so many bad batch shuttle mocs, but every single one of them dont have the cockpit just right, except yours, most of the ones Ive seen have had the cockpit too tall, or too wide.

I've been looking and praying for a bigger and better play scale version of this large shuttle. The lego one is OK but I always wanted a more thorough and accurate set. I already bought a copy of the instructions from Rebrickable! Thanks!!!

Built this model a while ago and it is still a firm favourite. Many others have given it a go but no-one else has captured the cockpit anywhere near as well. Definitely needs to be show cased some where when the second series comes out.

@@hunterscollection7179 no prob! the link in the video description or the pinned comment will take you to the rebrickable page where you can purchase the instructions, and included with that is a parts list, which you can simply copy and paste into a 'wanted list' on Bricklink.com, once you have your wanted list, just use the "buy all" button to have the site run its algorithm calculating the minimum number of sellers at the cheapest price to get the parts! for a model of this size youd probably expect 4 or 5 sellers, but Bricklink makes it easy- it generates the carts for you and all you do is pay each vendor, and wait for your orders to arrive!

But the MOC is amazing, well done. I absolutely love everything about it, you were so dedicated. You thought of everything, right down to a chair for Wrecker. Good job!

Hi, this is absolutely amazing. Planning to take this moc on soon. Could you pls share the rough measurements when in it's in wings folded upwards mode? (no stand) height/width/length, as I need to plan it's storage space for when built.

I would love to start building my own custom ships, but i do not know where i can buy the specific lego bricks. Where do you purchase your lego bricks?
Great question Ammar! I use the bricks I already have in my collection which come from about 10 years of extensive set buying, but for folks like yourself bricklink is the best resource really! You can buy from thousands and thousands of independent sellers and you can find almost anything on there. You can design or at least lay out a rough idea for ships and other things you want to design in Stud.io (free building software provided by bricklink) and then order just those specific parts, or you can just order a bunch of bricks and things and start playing around with a design, there’s no real right or wrong way to be honest!

Would it be cheaper to just buy all the pieces?, or should I buy the official set first and then the missing bricks after?
It really depends on where you live, how many or few sellers you want to use etc. I recommend experimenting with the algorithm on rebrickable! I designed the model to try and use a lot of the pieces from the official set, but by no means all of them…so you will have quite a lot of leftovers, but then you’ll have all the figures! Sorry it’s not that helpful but buying on bricklink is complicated
@@2bricks yeah, I had a quick look on rebrickable, but I'm new to using it and could quite figure out how to to use it yet. But I can get the bad batch set for about £40-50 in the UK used. Either way the build looks amazing and j hope and I can get to building it myself soon!

Purely because I wanna get into building my own versions of Star Wars vehicles myself and coming up with my designs, how do you go about building yours? Do you go into Lego Digital Designer and design your builds before actually putting it together, and how are you able to come up with some of your more complex designs for like particular areas on build?
thanks! I actually design everything with physical bricks! It’s the only way my brain is up to the task :D I have a ton of parts sorted mainly just by color in various drawers and crates and I just get in there!

I’m an animator! I was working on Encanto which was what I was referencing in the video, and currently I’m working on the zootopia+ series for Disney+!

Like, do you do the characters or the environments?

I try not to talk about my other job too much because I want this channel to be focused on lego and I feel like when I’ve seen people discussing being an animator at Disney online, it tends to overshadow everything else about them. So I am responsible for the animation on characters and usually any props the characters interact with! We have whole other departments to handle background characters, adding in the axing environmental elements, running water, cracking tiles, rustling leaves etc. what I focus on is the characters acting!

Thanks!! Yeah I love the micro fleet series and I have so many ships I want to make still! It’s just about my time and mental bandwidth at the moment. I’m definitely continuing the series and expanding the fleet in future!
