There's an oversight here, I think it's pretty clear that the Vassals are servants to their respective monarchs, not previous forms. Especially since they have completely different names, and in Mithra's case, a completely different gender. The word "vassal" also directly meaning: "a person in a subordinate position to another."
Yeah, had the same thought. Would it be interesting if there was a series of "prior" versions of the Monarchs to assist in their archetypes' main focus: Tribute Summoning? Yes, but it definitely isn't the vassals. Honestly it'd be interesting if each monarch got their own support lines focusing on different aspects of field control outside of their general "Lock the Extra Deck" which doesn't require a majority of them to function.
@leonfire99 yeah but lots of cards have evolutions that change their names i feel, if they are separate would’ve been cool to get cards with the monarchs and their vassals, like a pokémon tag team card
I think Ether and Erebus were once partners and they created the monarchs as sort of a construction/demolition crew of sorts for all the worlds they would visit that needed remodeling or a new start, then erebus got all crazy, and wanted to "remodel" everything to his likings thus he stole the monarchs for himself, he then assured himself that they would continue his dark legacy by giving them "mega upgrades" and providing them with vassals, just as they would have been to him and her in the past, Ehther in all her might and glory would only be able to come down from her heavenly abode to try and amend some of the destruction that was left by her beloved creations. Since they had become too strong to control..
Ehther and erebus Ruin and demise Sophia and tierra All of their lores have at least one card with skyscrapers on the background. What if the whole lore of yugioh has some cosmic law that requires the existence of 2 godly entities who destroy and rebuild the world when they consider it necessary? What if for some reason those "gods" are cyclically killed by their own creations rebelling against this samsara? Maybe Sophia and tierra seized those roles after ruin and demise departed for some reason? Maybe we'll see 2 new gods in a next lore now that sophia and tierra are dead? Are those skyscrapers remains from the age of the monarchs, ruin and demise or is just what remain of a previous cycle destroyed by sophia?
Vassals are servants /lower ranked PPL compared to maonarchs and worked for the monarchd So the lore doesn't set right. Also many vassals could become the next monarchs but i dont think they would have changed the name to the previous monarchs
You know when i read the title monarchs my mind immediately went to the solo leveling monarchs i have a lot of different decks of various card games that I haven't used for a couple years now and honestly i only by the cards not for the game but for the LORE which got me thinking which one is more powerful the monarchs from yu-gi-oh or the monarchs from solo leveling i'm pretty sure ashbourne in sung jin-woo would wipe the floor with the yu-gi-oh version of the shadow monarch.
The Ultimate form of Mobius is Morbius the Great Vamonarch. . Anyway, because most Monarch are the symbol of Destruction and the only rebuild is Ehther. Maybe it will be interesting if Konami makes new cards/lore based on Ehther the rebuilder.
Another interesting tidbit with no proof, but possibly meant to be inferred is that Erebus and Ehther have a connection via Greek mythos. Erebus is the son of Chaos, who's considered to be the first being. Erebus is a primordial being who is the god of the underworld and a personification of darkness. He is also the father of Aether/Ehther the personification of the Bright Sky / light. This would make our main 2 monarchs father and daughter and further explains their opposing natures and abilities. The father is a destroyer primordial and she comes down to heal and repair anything he and his underlings do. Also explains why the two are so much bigger in size than the 9 other monarchs, as shown in Domain of the True Monarch.
Hi, can you do a video on the Railway archetype? There are some pretty cool implications on It, like a War between the Railway and Ancient Gear, stealing other tech from diferent archetypes to reverse engineer It and make its own machines more powerfull, even the New Alt arts show that, i highly recomend you check It out
The vassals are not the monarchs' previous forms. Since they have different names they are not the same entity. Plus, Mithra has a female appearance, while Zaborg doesn't.
The six serve under the true monarchs the vassals are the servants of the six they're not actually them in the past they don't become the six think of them as squires.
@@yugitoad i keep on repeating the part of the mega monarch part cuz i notice that someone is missing its ok its just 1 small mistake, the story is amazing 👍👍
Such an epic lore. Proud to have been a part of it! Thanks bro, keep doing these videos, we all LOVE THEM 🙏🏻🔥
Legend! 🙏🙏

i always thoght the vassals where just serveants of the monarches
Thats literally what "vassal" means. Someone subservant to someone else. Specifically they were under a monarch.
to me they were vassals to Erebus, as he trained them to be the destructive monarchs they would become
@@yugitoad but they have different names and their mega forms don't.
@@leonfire99 This is an incredibly solid counterpoint.
@leonfire99 yeah but lots of cards have evolutions that change their names i feel, if they are separate would’ve been cool to get cards with the monarchs and their vassals, like a pokémon tag team card
I have a question, since the Monarchs have mega forms, wouldn't the Vassals be in training and service to the Monarchs, like Paiges to Knights?
‘Ate the extra deck
‘Ate special summons
‘Ate meta decks
Love me monarchs
Love me dominion
Love me tributes
Simple as
Oi, can you believe that Erebus git? E's got the same name as that stupid preechy boi

You forgot the Squires, Eidos & Edea.
*also pretty sure the Monarchs, Vassals & Squires are all separate characters.
Need lore on relinquished tbh
Fanboying on Mini Lucius I love it!!!!!
You're a man of culture
Hahaha I loved your reaction to lil dark boi

Thunder vassal and thunder monarch look nothing alike, you sure they're the same person?
MevhanicalChaser is an interesting monster that shows up in alot of cards.
1850 attack 800 defence
The vassals are not the monarchs. They are equivalent to the minions of the monarchs. Servants to their kings.
Pretty sure the vassals are servants of the monarchs, not that they became them.
Gigachad archtype
So satisfying 👌

Lore: ultimate being of destruction
Card: 2800 atk 1000 def
Van we get longer lore videos?

Wait, Delg the Dark Monarch and Kuraz the Light Monarch are missing.
they aren’t part of the main six so just left them out, they don’t appear in any card art like the main six
@@yugitoad oh. That's why. When I watched it I knew some are missing. Well, thank you yugitoad! You never fail to put smile of a big man's face
Also, where does Delg come in? He's my favorite
Kaiju lore next please?!
This is super cool. Though, where does Kuraz the Light Monarch fit into all this? 🤔
A lore on manadome would be cool
I love your channel keep up
Also do you have Doriado and the Charmers lore?
I like how the monarchs are so strong and about destruction, but the background piano is so peaceful. Such a contrast 😆
Where are the other two monarchs, Kuraz and Delg?

you forgot granmarg the mega monarch XD
but still love the lore about it XD
…i literally rewatched so many times for errors and missed that every time 😭😭

Where are you getting this information from? Because none of these cards describes anything.
What's the music?
