I dont think theres a single time Kaiba has legitimately won a duel in which he summoned Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. He always loses. He occasionally "wins," but only because after he loses, Yugi steps in and takes over Kaiba's field and wins but does so using his own cards instead of Kaiba's. In this instance Kaiba does "win," but only because after Ultimate Dragon was outed in essence, he threatens to jump off the castle if Yugi doesn't surrender which is basically cheating and doesn't count.

I feel like you missed a filler arc. When yugi and the gang get sent to California for a vacation but the plan goes down in a jungle and there's a huge Pyramid and once they go inside they become kinda evil and Joey gets taken over by red eyes inside a Volcano and yugi beats him to free him

This was a lot more impactful in the manga because we see how sadistic Atem is at the beginning and this moment was the final push for Atem going from the evil spirit to the heroic king

4:20 (nice) the life point cap never increases after battle city in the franchises ever again. Reason probably was to keep duels shorter because especially in the earlier anime duels that were 9-10 turns would’ve probably doubled the amount of turns. Now, in the later anime like vrains they probably had the opposite problem because well... look at the cards they were playing. It was a miracle they even managed to keep duels from being 30 seconds long.
