- Well, I'm back in Japan yet again! This time for the annual Wekfest Japan event in Nagoya. I usually like to head out there a few days before the event takes place to see what Yasu and the guys from Exceed Japan are up to, and this year, they had quite the task. It's been about a year now but Yasu has been working on this EK9 Civic Type R for a customer and the planned deadline was for the 2019 Wekfest Japan show. It's been a work in progress for the past 365 days or so and if you pay close attention in the older videos, you'll probably spot it in the background. By the time I flew in, the CTR was already painted and on its way to reassembly. Watch as the boys tackle the task of completing the EK9 CTR and see if we meet our goal.

This is good content right here. haven't seen anyone do good Japan build content like this on Yt. You should do more of this type of content. It build is clean in a nice small shops with quality craftsmanships

Sorry to comment again. Do japanese honda enthusiasts want left hand drive USDM Honda's like we want right hand drive JDM cars here in the states?? It's a big deal to have a rhd Honda here in the US.
How are you cutting that plastic ABS bumper with that air saw??? I have the same saw and blade and when I run mine through the plastic it just plasty welds itself back together as soon as i run the plsde through it. Are there different physics on your side of the world????
Very carefully with really good blades haha
@@THECHRONICLES I was thinking about running water on it as I cut but the bumper I practiced on proved to be difficult to see the line I had drawn.

He legit uses a go-pro with a grip under it. Also, he has a bright ass led light that he can turn on when its dark.

What kind of spark plugs are those? Looks like what the newer cars use.
Those are coil packs...aka distributor-less. Spark plugs are likely still the same, just each cylinder has it's own coil for spark.
