Thanks - looking forward to getting it for a proper bash session. Kraton 6s is a beast, mines been down needing repairs, that i have done the past 2 days. Make sure you shim the diff pinion of you will chew the crown gears: ruclips.net/video/xEaF0vqOFnE/видео.html ruclips.net/video/AYz3pFlaTNU/видео.html
Just received mine yesterday and its so cool. For price in US for 299.00 its the best bargain out there. Cant wait to get bashing soon. Cheer, Be Safe!
My mate said he had 75mph out of the Arrma Typhon 3s because he's such a good driver and also apparently knows how to tune it up better than anyone on RUclips. I struggle to get even 50, but my mate is always loads better than me at most stuff tbh so it's possible
Hi, 75mph is deffo easy to get out of a 3s Typhon put a 6s system in it and it will easily hit 75mph, we have had 105mph out of our Big Rock which is effectively the same car but with a different body. Dont put yourself down saying your mate is always better at most stuff, im sure there is plenty you are better than him it
You're getting rolling resistance from the grass. I've seen these consistently perform at 50 mph or just under. Switching to the 22 gear would make the difference. Also using a 100c battery would help
Yep, on road would go faster for sure. there are no real world 100c Lipos - max any lipo has ever been tested in real world is 45c these test at 40c and actually give the same top speed as my Panther Graphene's - you can see these Turnigy HD actually come out 9th in testing, just behind the SMC and Panthers static.rcgroups.net/forums/attachments/3/0/3/0/6/1/a14365461-252-All%20Sorted%20by%2025C%20LPB.jpg
i bougt the 3S typhon and drove it 1 time. sold it and got the Rustler 4x4 instead. Arrma's power is awful compared to Traxxas. their design and look is way better than Traxxas though
Thanks for watching, was more curious how fast it is on grass, dirt etc as that is where people would mainly use them. The 3s cars don't come with a speed gear like the 6s cars do, so the speed on the box is for the stock gearing on the 3s cars
I would have a word with the hobby shop - see if they have it, if not then ask them to get you as it should be with the car. In the meantime you can view the manual on Arrma site: www.arrma-rc.com/pdf/manuals/3S_4X4_ARB100020311.pdf
Just unboxed mine, hooked up a charged battery and can't get it to turn on. Any thoughts? I turned the tx on first then tried the button on the esc. Am I missing something? Thanks
@@RayRiv73 Durability is very good, we did break s chassis but that was a very bad landing on the edge of a skate park. All the Arrma 3s cars are good to be honest, i do like the Typhon 3s as it also comes with 17mm hex as standard, if you want to bash with more air control just fit a set of Proline MX28, thats what we had on ours for a while
im now using some very good new batteries 3s 55000mah 140c which i have done a review on here: ruclips.net/video/XO93WGQ1Tlw/видео.html i was using 3s 5000mah 50c packs from Overlander previously
Hi I've just bought this I've charged the battery put it all together the steering works but I'm getting no throttle any ideas what I'm doing wrong please thanks
Is it new ? you may need to calibrate the ESC with the throttle, but it could be a faulty as should work right out the box, i would suggest talking to the model shop you bought it from
Thats a tough one, they are both the same size, i wanted a 6s Typhon but everywhere was out of stock, so bought the 3s instead, since owning the 63s i havent thought abought buying the 6s, but others will say the 6s is better, guess it comes down to personal choice, sorry i haven't helped much
Hardcore you know the score - kickin in the front door 🚪 bashing in your back door ✌️

Nice video man the Typhon 3S is an awesome car. I just picked up the Kraton 6s today didn’t get to fully test it out yet but it’s quite a beast!

@@HardcoreRC thanks for the feedback and information
@@meditationheathandwellness781 No problem, Lipos are a bit of a passion for me after having a few good makes turn out to be duff 😂😂

Both have their pros and cons, and at the end of the day it will come down to what you prefer and what makes you smile 👍
Asphalte would be good if your looking for speed test, and say's 50 yes with gearing change 😉

Nice new Typhon dude
Thanks 👍
I tried to wait on the 6s Typhon to become available again, but I went ahead and brought the 3s, get I'll either convert it or get the 6s another time
i was the same, will get the 6s Typhon once its back in stock - its a fun RC so good to have both versions 👍
Nice video but speeds staff are on tarmac / roads
Thanks - who runs these on tarmac 😂 i did say on short grass 👍👌
Just bought one at a hobby shop near me and the manual and parts bag was missing

Anytime i drive the 3s typhon i ram it into a wall sending it at full speed
You do need to steer it 😂😂😂
I do then it goes fliping into the wall
Its like brand new and i bent a part
Great video!!
Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed 👍
I'm just about to buy this, you think worth it still?
Yes still think the 3s Typhon is good 👍
@@HardcoreRC glad you said that coz I ordered one last night 🌙 🙂 exciting waiting for it to be delivered now 😀
Just unboxed mine, hooked up a charged battery and can't get it to turn on. Any thoughts? I turned the tx on first then tried the button on the esc. Am I missing something? Thanks
Oops. It's a switch not a button 🤪
Is it working now ? the button is used to calibrate or change the settings - turn on with the switch 😂😂
the body looks clean
thanks - shes brand new :)
The 6s body looks awesome
You had it set to punch 5 setting?
Nope, default punch which i believe is 3
@@HardcoreRC so you've had it for 2 years now...hows the durability? What have you broken and replaced sofar? Im about to order one.

No - would need to buy a battery and charger. I have batteries and charger recommended in my description.
Hardcore_RC ok thank youb
Hardcore_RC definitely buying one this week sometime thank you so much awesome video
@@aggelosvelissarakos599 Your welcome - hope you enjoy 👍👍
Can it handle 4s
Not with the current ESC and Motor - its only rated to 3s. In theory though you could put a 4s ESC and Motor in like from the 4s Outcast and 4s Kraton
@@HardcoreRC picked up one thanks to your video now what battery will 5000 mah get 20 minute bash run ? gensace
AKA TIMMYT hope you like the car as much as I do 👍🏻👍🏻 5000mah battery should see at a minimum 20 minute bash time

I lucked up and got the 6s, but I’m still thinking about getting the 3s just to have it
