Mercedes-Benz W205 Windshield Wiper Blade Replacement & Windshield Prep DIY (C300, C43 AMG & More)

►One of the easiest parts of your car that you can replace yourself is your wiper blades, and Mercedes-Benz W205 wiper blade replacement is no different.
No matter the car you drive, replacing the windshield wiper blades is a must. Over time, your wiper blades wear out and dry out, causing them to not make solid contact with your windshield, leaving those annoying streaks. If you let them go too long without replacement, they can even leave deep scratches on your windshield.
Before replacing your wiper blades, we recommend stripping your windshield of contaminants. Doing so will increase the life span of your wiper blades and simply make your vision from behind the wheel that much clearer. One of the best methods to remove contaminants from your windshield is by using the clay bar method.

Great video, did not know you could move the wiper up so easily. Also, like the W205 design vs the W212 design. As, I cracked the windshield on W212 by dropping the arm.

I prefer PIAA wiper blades to any of the 'beam' type blades, as they better to conform to the curvature of many windscreens between the wipe and parked positions.
