poetryreincarnations He’s not really in the background. He had his own business ventures before his wife ventured into politics. He’s just not interested in public policy, beside as a businessman he can’t enter politics without being scrutinisedz
We love you misses Thatcher like your old man loves his brew. Such a lad your husband Dennis when he's had a sup or two. Sure he'll take a pint of porter and a glass of irish mist. And because he facem you each night, no wonder he gets pissed
This would have been 2001 or 2002. He references a friend he's known for 50 years, saying he first met them in either 1951 or 1952. Sounds about right to me!
He was very, very funny in wonderful dry way. Absolutely charming. He and his wife made a wonderful team.
You can see where his daughter Carol got being a twit from.
"And of course, I was very, very, drunk."
He comes across as a very decent kind man
He isn't really
@@paullinnane8135 How do you know?

He would have loved England winning the Rugby World Cup in 2003
good old English story teller
Ha-ha! He's really quite a daft fellow. No wonder he was afraid of speaking in public.
A very funny and lovely chap.
+oldfashionedphil You can tell Carol & her father love each other. I would love to have seen the chats before & after the cameras roll.

Do put the words "Dear Bill letters from our hapless hero" into a search engine like Google and you may find that Denis is alive and well- !
