    Just last week, we flew all the way from Louisiana and Minnesota for a 5-day shoot with Anders and crew. Not only was the entire VJUS crew friendly and helpful to us (the client), they were equally engaged and helpful to all of the actors and extras. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable and productive experience. Thanks to everyone at VJUS.

    I’ve visited Anders & friends in Norway twice for a workshop, and he’s always nice to everyone.
    We did a whole session on directing on the workshop and it was one of the most useful parts of it.
    The advice here sounds simple, but especially when you’re new it’s so easy to get carried away with what you’re doing and not give the talent what they need to perform.
    I used to do a lot of corporate video work, and it was always surprising how many CEOs of big companies were nervous before a shoot. So it might be easy to assume they must be used to doing it and can just drop in and deliver a great performance…but that was almost never the case. They all appreciated good direction and kindness.
    Happy film making is good film making.

    It seems simple, but as a naturally awkward person and filmmaker, learning these tricks took me a bit too long whenever interviewing people. This is such a good example of WHY you don't want to do the things you don't want to do.

    The summary is basically the difference between Customer Service and Customer EXPERIENCE. With Part 3, I like to say "that was perfect, let's to one for good luck and then one last one as a backup after that" then they think it's technical reasons why we keep doing more takes 😅

    I started a RUclips channel a few years ago, and I feel like it really helps me with interviewing and interacting with the talent in front of the camera because I've done it so much. Also, I'd feel very comfortable if I walked in to Metal blasting on a speaker, but that's just my music preference haha!

    • @Andyax
      @Andyax  7 дней назад

      That's good to hear :) Hehe, I knew someone would say that about the metal music. Everyone has different taste. But based on experience, calm music makes things more cozy hehe.

    Great tips as always, Anders! :-)
    I have actually been considering that monitor as it has touch, seems great for Auto-focus. If I use an HDMI transmitter from the camera, and hook the reciever to the PortKeys, it will probably not work, right?

    • @Andyax
      @Andyax  8 дней назад +1

      Thanks. It will still work because it's wireless control :) I just don't know how far away you can stand and operate the camera.
