  • In this video, I sample the four open strings of my violin into the Teenage Engineering KOII, essentially transforming it into a playable violin sampler! 🎻 Since the KOII works like a violin, altering pitch across its four sample slots, I had full control over the notes and turned it into an expressive instrument.
After that, I crafted a beat, blending the organic textures of the violin with KOII’s unique sampling workflow. Teenage Engineering is known for their OP-1, OP-Z, and Pocket Operators, but KOII offers a fresh approach to sampling and beat-making. If you're into creative sound design, sample flipping, and experimental music production, this one's for you!
