Can the Greek distinguish between "absent from THE body..." and "absent from THIS body...."? If we consider the context of Pa u l discussing his desire to free from the corruption of his present mortal body of death. And the present tent awaiting the house from heaven made without hands from God. And how we will be changed and be like HIM. ETC ETC
Question.....are not trees in the Bible used sometimes as symbols for beings? Human or Spiritual.
Roger G..yes, sometimes, but not in this teaching.
Question .....can millions and millions when on the new earth go and eat altogether at each new day of the month? Is this tree going to be large enough for millions to stand there and eat from this tree. Or is this symbolizing Christ and his 12 Disciples which will preach to millions each month. Will Christ continue to feed those in the new earth like he feed to the Isrealits the mania of life. Will his preaching be our fruit to sustain our fellowship and to rejoice in the Gospel that will last forever?
In the Millennium (which will be on Earth), and the New Heaven and the New Earth, there will be people in natural bodies that will not have immortality like the christians and they will need to eat from the Tree of Life to perpetuate life. Watch "these graves will open" by BeyondTodayTV.
@@zouksesanet good day.....the thousand year reign will be in heaven not on Earth.....the earth will be torched so bad that even man's works will be melted to dust. Their will be no vegetation, animals or humans left on earth after Armageddon, it will be void of live just like the first day of creation. Have you heard of the Holy City coming down from Heaven? If you have then you will know that this city will have those who were left after the great Trubulation and those that were raised by Christ on his second coming.. the second resurrection is after the thousand year reign where the unbelievers will be brought forth along with Satan and his Demons. In short they will be judged and then sentence to death. Those in the city will leave the city onto a new earth and their will be new heavens above (remember the heavens will roled up .....destroyed) .
Could it be that Christ was standing in the Garden being described as the tree of Life? Christ referred to himself as the "way", the truth and the life. He is the tree that brought fruit to all who would hear. He is the one who created all things and a tree brings life so he could be described as that tree of life. Why would a perfect man made from Gods likeness need to eat a food item for immortality when he was made perfect in Spirit and in the flesh.
Before Adam sinned he had immortality.....he was righteous (right) he was perfect in every way even spiritually. It's when he sinned he lost his righteousness, he lost immortality by his act of transgression. The tree of life would be used to save latter in time by Christ himself. Remember this is a war for worship and this war had to be played out for the whole universe to see that Gods plan of salvation would win and that righteousness will be restored to man through The blood of the Lamb (Christ). That's why The Angel guarded the gate to the Garden of Eden. Adam needed to die for his transgression because that is the price of sin not to be given life for that transgression but death. God told him he would due if he eat and God is not a liar, Adam died in that day of Gods time (a day is like a thousand years to God) .
The tree of the knowledge of good and evil ........if this tree is a symbol for a certain being who would this tree represent? The only being at that time who knew of Good and Evil would be Lucifer (Satan). No other creature knew of evil or even had thoughts of evil. Satan would fit that bill of that tree (being) of the knowledge of good and evil . The tree of life is symbolizing righteousness, truth and life. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil symbolizes transgression of Gods law, also of "self".
Satan was being described as a serpent he really wasn't speaking through a serpent but was being symbolize as a cunning, deceiver, Slye, as a serpent in its natural state. This tree of knowledge of good and evil could only be Satan, he in his evil knowledge of good and evil seduced Eve. Lucifer was a beautiful being capable of making himself something he isn't to deceive even a perfect human being. Satan is the tree of Good and evil he can perform both Good or evil fruit.
What is the meaning of fruit in the Bible? Theirs is the actual fruit from trees to consume. Their is the use of the word fruit for having childern (go be fruitful and fill the earth) or converting someone to the truth is bringing in New fruit to the fold. So which fruit did Eve really eat could the fruit spoken in the Garden be that of having sex, actually eating fruit or to bring one into the truth? The word beguiled is the word seduced, so was Eve seduced by one of the most beautiful beings in the universe symbolized as the tree of Good and evil? Could this "being" perform a sexual act with Eve? Is it possible he could change himself into a human being, it says that Satan has powers to change into Light and other things so am sure he could perform this transition to looking like a human.
