“I’ve decided to push the depth of the armor tone using a mix of Dark Angel’s Green and Terradon Turquoise, which I’ve thinned with some Gryph-Charger Grey” made me realize I don’t know as much about contrast paints as I thought 😅. Love these speed paint videos. I always learn something new 🎓
Ha ha, thanks buddy 😁
Keep them coming!!! I just finished my Warbear. About to finish my Huntress. Next in line is Priest and Ranger. I started watching you when Black Plague came out. Then I bought Blood Rage, Lord of the ring, Scatterpoint and I just received my Oathsworn. You are a great inspiration for all my painting projects.
Thank you so much! I'll certainly keep them coming 🤗
Fantastic results Mark. You absolutely nailed the character art!
Thank you so much, buddy! I'm glad you like her 😀
Omg. I'm grateful for these. I always die of 'blank page syndrome' when painting things i care about
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the next episode.. ( the Witch) 😁
love these. I stripped the ranger 3x before i got the zenithal the way you had it. I'm glad i can do that, but having a video to watch step by step is intensely helpful. My old skin - flesh shade with Army Painter strong tone wash. Not nearly as effective as purple deep tones, but I woukd never have thought to put purple on skin. Now I see it even in real life too
The Scenic bits amre amzing. They fit so flawelessly in the base.
Thank you! Yeh, I'm really happy with them 😀
Oh my gosh! You did it just as you promised! You seriously rock dude. Thank you so much ❤️ contrast paints too… which is just how I intend to do it. I can follow the mighty Sorastro’s guide again
Ha ha, you're very welcome, buddy! 😁
Stunning as always Mark. The glowy bow bits (tm) were a great addition. Also love what you did with the base. Looking forward to the next one!
Ha ha, thank you my friend 🤗
Amazing work, been following your Oathsworn series since the Terrian. Do you think you'll be putting out more of the starting party soon? I truly love following your painting guides.
Thank you very much! Yes, I'm going to be painting the Witch and the Priest pretty soon.. 😀
@@Sorastro I would love to see both but especially the Witch!
I'll tackle the Witch next then.. 😀
Are you spying on me?! I swear every time I'm in the beginnings of a new project, you come out with a video about that very model! Same thing happened with the crimson croc. Love your videos as always!
Ha ha, excellent! 😄
Fantastic work as always!!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate that 😊
So beautiful result ! Thnak you !
Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it 😀
This is amazing! Wow!❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you very much! 😀
yeess, more Oathsworn! I just got my copy recently and love the minis! Can't wait to see you paint them!!!
Awesome, thanks! 😁
@@Sorastro Blade next? *Fingers crossed*
The mushrooms really lifted the base!
Thank you! I think so too! 😁
Wow this is crazy, I was looking for your video the other day and I just finished the ranger today.
Ha ha 😁
Wonderful work. Thank you! Mine is on the priming desk!!
Fantastic! Thank you, sir! 😀
As i dont have that color range. I cant follow. But im getting alot of technical ideas on how to make it look great. Great series and great paintjobs. And dam what a fun set to paint
Thank you so much! I'm really looking forward to getting my first game in.. 😀
Well great. Now I have to go repaint my ranger ;)
Lol buddy 😁
Fantastic!! I keep fingers crossed that you paint witch at some point :)
Thank you! I am actually painting the Witch and the Priest next to round out my starting party... 😀
Great, new video))))
Awesome as always))) Thanks for the RUclips content =)
Thank you! You're most welcome 😀
New here, but I have admired your work for a while. I really enjoy learning how you use different products (standard base paints compared to speed paints compared to inks).
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Cur!
Thank you, sir! I really appreciate that 😀
Just a heads up the description says this vid is for the Warbear 🙃 @@Sorastro
Thanks man! Fixed! 😁
You've got a new patreon!
That's very kind - thank you! 🤗
Great video and amazing painting! May I ask, so when do we decide to use contrast or base colour as the base? Thank you.
Thank you! There are a range of factors; how quickly do you want to get the mini painted, how textured/organic is the model, what kind of look you are after etc.. There's no real right it wrong 😀
Is the bow different? The one in this video is a whole lot nicer than the one I have on my model. Was this sculpted, one of the addon weapons or something else?
Hi! Yes, I think this was one of the bows from the armoury 😀
Just found your channel and it is fantastic. Great work.
How do the Scale75 Artist paints compare to typical artist paints? I was looking at picking up either Golden SoFlat, Liquitex Gouache, or the Scale75 Artists to work on my color mixing.
Thank you very much! The SCA paints behave very much like other heavy-body acrylics. The finish is a very smooth matte, with just a little satin in it, so probably not as matte as a gouache paint, but more matte than the average acrylic. 😀
Simply Amazing.
Thanks again! 😊
This is very close to what I've been imagining for a paint scheme on my Lumineth, would you have any pointers on pushing this scheme towards a more autumnal feel?
Excellent! For a more. Autumnal feel you could simply add some orange in with the greens.. 😀
Hey Sorastro, love your vids! Hope we see some more star wars stuff soon. One little advice I'd give is maybe get someone to make you some different thumbnail designs. your paintjobs are incredible, but some of your thumbails barely show the finished thing (see the shatterpoint ones for example). much love
Thanks a lot! Yep - I actually have 2 more Shatterpoint videos finished and waiting to pass licencing approval.. 😀
Licensing? For music/images or like being able to show the minis being painted? haha@@Sorastro
Well, I produce the Shatterpoint videos in a professional capacity for AMG, so they have to go through licensing approval with Lucasfilm Ltd before I can release them 🙂
@@Sorastro Oh heck! That's awesome!
Amazing painting as always, Now will you ever get a chance to play :)
Ha ha, thanks! Well, it's certainly my plan to begin a campaign once I've finished my starting party (and the giant rat!).. 😁
Hello! Is there still a possibility to see you painting Bloodborne the Boardgame? Or did you not back that one?
Hi! Sorry, I didn't back that one (although I love the video game!) 😁
Oh pity. What about Aeon Trespass Odyssey 😊
Ah, sorry - it looks amazing, but I knew I'd be seriously overloading myself with projects if I got it (especially as I recently received the Gambler's Chest for Kingdom Death Monster..) 🙂
HAIR!
Brush brutality! lol
Ha ha, damn right! 😄
