A whoole lot of people forgot Cesar died in the war of the planet apes after they fought in that war in the snow! They traveled to the land and he died and that’s how the new movie opened up with the funeral, people was pissed as if it wasn’t already said! 😂good movie!
Right. Caesar not immortal they said when this movie was announced it was like 300yrs after Caesar’s death
If That Ain’t The Mark Of A Good Character, Idk What Is Lol. How Did U DIE & People Get Mad Cuz U Not In The Next Movie?
Right. Caesar was basically like Moses. Got his people to the promised land, but died before entering it himself.
I thought it was a prequel lol
@ek1743 how tf could you think it was a prequel, the movie clearly said generations later...smh
When Tony started saying “ NO “ i spit out my food 😂🤣
I wish this film was about Caesar's son, Cornelius.
I WISH THAT TOO. that’s what it was IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABOUT. Cornelius NOT even being in the movie was a crime 😢
@@katerinahuffmaster They only showed him briefly in the beginning for Caesar's funeral.
@@marcusmcgill4423 Oh I know that, I meant the fact that Cornelius wasn’t in the movie as a key character or someone to start off the plot and guide the rest of the plot movie was wrong
I kept dosing off. 😂😂😂 I paid for a 22 dollar nap.
😂😂😂😂
I've been to several films where this was the case for me or someone else present. The difference is I don't snore, even doped up on allergy pills.
Same. This movie was trash lol
22 dollars ??? Was this with food and beverage ??? How much were your tickets ????
It got good once the "bad apes" showed up. Movies I was mad I spent top dollar on were Tom Cruise The Mummy, and Mark Wahlbergs Transformers, released the same year
I didn’t realize this was the fourth one! It was pretty good. I think I enjoyed it so much because I looked at it from the angle of a depiction of society. It kind of displays the thirst for power of the higher ups and how they’ll use people they truly don’t value, convince them they’re apart of something greater, and exploit them for their own agenda.
I thought it was also an interesting look at how religions are formed and twisted to obtain power
@@fangal12 I agree!! They spoke of Caesar as a god, then his words were taken and twisted by radicals to fit their own agenda and make their own sort of religious faction.
What about that time one of the apes was getting whooped and He yelled “LEAVE HIM!” Lol I was like damn vocabulary turning up 😂
I thought the movie was OK,just wished we had more development on the main villian
Same, I really enjoyed whenever Proximus was onscreen and much like Koba, he's right about them damn sneaky humans 😅
@@fangal12 Koba was my guy in DAWN,he stood on-BUSINESS. LOL.
(the main villain was Mae)
I fell asleep twice in this movie. How they get inside the vault and what happened right before they found that girl? 😅 I woke up and they found a girl, then I woke up and they were in the vault.
The girl got them into the vault through a side window that Noah and the gang had to climb up to with her on his back. She knew how to get into it the whole time, and that’s why the bad apes were hunting her.
Noah and the orangutan 🦧 found her when she ran up on their campsite and they fed her. They got captured by the bad apes when they tried to cross the bridge to the camp where the vault was and got ambushed. That’s also where the orangutan drowned. Hope this helps 😅
@@Mzdedeo 😃 thank you! 🙏🏾 This fills in some blanks for sure. I liked the movie but I was big tired. 😅
The women wasn't a friend she was just using the apes
🎉🎉🎉 my favorite reviewer ❤❤
YO…..What people are failing to realize is that THIS CHAPTER, is the beginning to a New Trilogy. Although it does bridge the gap from Caesar’s Era; it kicks off a whole new saga. Another war IS COMING. 💯✊🏾
Definitely missed Caesar too. I know it’s 300 years after him just in case somebody comes at me lol. Caesar just had that BOSS BOSS presence and just looking at him think was intimidating. And Caesar boy was Maurice. The movie itself was solid and Noah looks like a descendant of Caesar while Proximus over here remixing Caesar and Koba ideologies together. With the “together apes strong” but if they’re not we throwing out like Koba did Rocket
Yea Caesar was a real nigga. They messed up not giving him at least one more movie
Helena looking like Michael Jackson part 🤣🤣🤣
Why Ceasar had to have on Wrangler jeans?!! 😂😂 I might go see it today.
The Wranglers!!! 🤣🤣🤣
What Wes Ball did with this movie astounded me! Continuing the story of Caesar by exploring his legacy as an almost religious figure was brilliant. On top of that the VFX were immaculate and the performances just as impressive. An epic return to this world that has me wanting a lot more!
When Tony said, I was rooting for the Apes 🤣🤣🤣
3:54 staaawp 😭😂😂😂
I neeeed that Toni Braxton shirt ❤️
Great movie review and I enjoyed it and I might check it out and have a blessed day
I gave it 4🎷🎷🎷🎷 i luv proximus an Randomly been saying 😄"🗣WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY"and Noah has so much potential to be a Caesar...Tony u gotta move on bro😅 ,thats why they had the Memorial
Noah doesn’t need to be Caesar that’s what makes each character special let Noah grow to be his own other than that I agree
Same. Never connected with the OG. Didn't care for Burton's even as a fan of his. And the modern trilogy was great. Going to see this one eventually, but I'm in no rush.
Thanks for the review, Tony.
⭐️💜⭐️💜⭐️I just wanted to encourage somebody and say that God loves you, God is with you, and God is for you. Keep going, and keep trusting in Him ❤💜💜💜
I think this new movie was the beginning of another trilogy, like how Star Wars has 3 trilogies from different time periods.
I don't think most people expected that. I def didn't know going in, but once i figured it out, I recalibrated how I was viewing the movie. This movie does A LOT of setup, while also making callbacks to the first 3 films, and allusions to how human society has evolved over the years.
I like Noa as the protagonist. He's def not Caesar-level great (yet), but based on how the movie ended, I can see him growing into a great, great main character.
I like how they setup up the humans that "survived" as essentially an alien invading force of racists.
I like how Proximus Caesar was kinda like a Crusade's era king, using their savior's name and symbols for his own gain (but also being absolutely right about the danger of humans).
I think this movie is going to be viewed completely differently by most *if* the movies that follow progress this story and the inevitable war correctly
I never thought that humans would mess up the planet anymore than the apes would. In fact, humans and apes in these movies are a lot alike. For me, as long as apes are as civilized as Caesar is, welcome to planet Earth!
Thanks for your review. I agree. The movie was missing something. The new characters weren’t doing it. More character development for the protagonist.
For a movie set 300 years into the future, I expected more evolution. Not much has changed since the 2017 one.
Thank you for your review.
I bought a ticket for it but decided to go back to bed instead.
The first 3 was 🔥 the new one is mediocre
I agree with u on the review
....I was like where my boy ceasar at ?
Because of the mixed reviews, I’ll wait until it’s on demand.
Same
Skipidity pats was needed.
Last one of these i liked, Michael Clarke Duncan had the ape suit on. And Seimos was the og.
Come on Tony this movie is a solid 4 saxophone 😂
I enjoyed this one, & I agree it’s probably the weakest of the 4. The human character, May, was the most intriguing to me in this movie. Andy Serkis & Matt Reeves were missed in this one. But I am looking forward to the next one, I’m curious to see where they go with the story.
Apes and humans in space wars 😅. That's gonna be a sight to behold. Provided they make enough money to fund the budget for the next film that is eluded to at the end.
Tony out here “chimping” and I’m here for it!!! #chimpingainteasy
Tony wearing Toni😂
You are 100 % right on. You took all my thoughts right out of my head. EXACTLY!!!! LOVE AND MISS CAESAR!!!
If they go to space... I'M OUT!
Agreed with everything you said. The three before this were 👌🏾. I hated the original show creeped me out, lol. This movie was good but not as good as the former three
NOOOO!! I mean yes…I would agree
Best thing about this movie was the dystopian landscapes that made you feel the passage of time and near total erasure of humans.
I like Kingdom. I like Noa and the ape who knew about Caesar. The main female human character I hated, however that was the point. I agree-the other three films are very special, especially Dawn, and I prefer them to Kingdom. But Kingdom is solid. The original film series is classic, though it also lost most of its flair between the third and fourth films.
That Toni Braxton shirt gangstern a MF
As an Ape I feel perfectly catered to.
I enjoyed this movie but where I felt a disconnect was with the villain. Something about him was off and kinda of weak. To me the gorilla was more interesting.
I went so much deeper with the meaning of this whole series 😂
Remember Gremlins 2 when Spike was the intellectual one speaking
Man noah was just gettin his ass whipped to much to be the main hero imo...but it was alright definitely the weakest one

This was a 4 with a stomach virus. 300 year fast forward is kinda outrageous
Not really, these are prequel films set between 2000-3000 years in the past, we just have to get use to the time jumps. The problem is the characters, but if they improve on the development and story, then it’s all good.
Wrangler jeans 💀😂
Been waiting on this one. This movie finally got me back into a theater and I loved it!
It’s hard trying to reintroduce a new story line after the first 3. Plus it was good move. Had a wonderful day.
NOOOOO !!!!!!
I didn't feel this movie. Made me wish they left the trilogy alone to be honest.
Completely agree. And I wish they had done more with the villain. Proximus could have been a lot more compelling.
They should have kept his Boy in the Movie...
Am I the only one that thought that was Muhammad Ali on his shirt before realizing it was Toni Braxton? 😂 that's my bad 😅
Simpin for his Ape fans 😂😂😂😂
I enjoyed the movie. Another 1. Tony is that an extra medium Tony Braxton shirt? They not like us should have played at the end. 😂😂 Great review.
Been waiting on this, bouta smoke and watch. Love ya Tone.
I enjoyed the movie it felt like a origin story and I’m invested in seeing what they do with the next two movies and possible the 7th 8th and ninth
You should retro review Apocalypto. Not that you have to or should just a suggestion.
It looked good visually and I liked seeing it in the theater on an IMAX screen, but we really didn't need to be up in there 2+ hours. 90 solid minutes were enough for this one. At a certain point I was like ok chile let's wrap this up!
We need Tony to review Fallout!
2 n a half. The best part was the end.
I wonder if there are people out there who truly understood what the movie was trying to say
The original is a classic Tony. Visuals are old but story is great. 😁
AGREED.Watched many reaction videos of the original classic, never get tired of watching it either.
I was kind of bored. I felt like it took too long to get to the point. And that girl pissed me off because the girl was ready to betray them too many times, especially in the end when she was leaving. I went for my brother because he like like the planet of the apes movies.
The trilogy with the NOOO is so iconic! I remember when I first seen it and I was like nope lol I wanted to run out the theater into hiding lol This new movie was ok but I didn’t like how they didn’t know about Cesar to me that is why there was such a disconnect. Good movie but just not great 🤷🏾♀️
NOOOOOOOO! I mean Yes!
I watched the original 3 and the 3 recent I put it up there with LOTR as one of the best trilogies
Caesar was my DUDE! I was and am still sad he had to die. I felt like they gave him his flowers 💐 and he was the start of it all. But like Tony said it still had an element missing. I was still emotional for them though and I’m always about the humans getting that work cause they be TRASH every time. 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️
😅😅😅😅😅I’m sorry Tony, my ancestors will not allow me to entertain anything ape in a movie. Most notably a few of my uncles ON BOTH SIDES of the family. 😅😅😅😅😅 Not a stitch of those have I watched.
To me, Hollywood movies have lost their imagination, all they're doing now is rebooting movies from the past to make it better for the new regeneration which is not working.. I don't know when's the last time I got excited to go to a movie theater to see a movie in the past 2 years.
Panda ring to the apes. I see what u did there!!
I got turned off when I found out Cesar was not in this one. I will watch it when it comes to streaming.
U forgot he died 😂
How dod humans become non verbal? Help me make that make sense. 200k years on the planet, vastly different, complex human languages and we just....forget.? Not only do we forget but its like 300 years after Ceasars death. How?
Chem trails man
The virus mutated and began to affect their higher brain functions. It happened in the last one War for the Planet of the Apes
I didn’t like this movie as much as the last one. This was boring for the lost part like we are starting over again but it wasn’t that good to me especially compared to the prior ones 🤷🏽♂️
I like it, just wasn't of fan of the girl that was in it. She annoyed me throughout, but Noah did his thing
You know that's about us right ..
whatever happened to Cesar son?
I live 4 these reviews...
Tony u da man fam
CRAM
Whadddup doe 💪🏾💯💯💯 🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thumbnail is crazy bruh😅
Yeah
More funny than anything, especially when the wise orangoutang heard meg speak. 😎
First comment! I loved the movie
The acting gets me every time , I tear’d up in the first 30 mins
And cried when Caesar died
But I can’t root for da apes ngl I’d be mad if it happened fr
It did happen.
It wasn't 😢as expected.... the other ones where better...
I didn’t like it. I couldn’t connect. They should have picked up where Caesar died and Continued with his son’s story
His son isn't interesting, the movie needed this time jump
If you think about it this movie has biblical tones to it. Too much to really get into but if you really watch this movie you will pick up on it.
That's definitely the implication. The gospels were written hundreds of years after the death of Jesus
2 1/2 🎷
here first
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
NO 😭😭😭😭😭
This Movie Was A Disappointment, Waste Of Time And Money. Completely Tarnished The Planet Of The Apes Franchise!
The movie was hot garbage! I paid extra for that was XSCREEN too!!! ugghhh
Good movie, but not great
It was a snooze fest for me.
I was so bored at this movie 😔
