Turkey in the late 1970s.

During this lockdown period I started digitizing our slides.
In the 1970s and 1980s we traveled extensively through Europe.
This video gives an impression of Turkey at a time when mass tourism had not yet taken off.
Especially the Cappadocia region and the salt lakes in Pamukkale - that now are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, made a big impression on us at the time.
This video gives you a small impression of it, as well as other historical sights.
We hope to be able to visit this beautiful country again.

Mooi werkje om ze te digitaliseren. Die woningen gemaakt in de rotsen is toch wel erg bijzonder.

Het was een hele klus om ca. 3000 dias af te fotograferen. Als er geen lockdown was geweest was ik er waarschijnlijk niet aan begonnen...:) Ja, het is een heel bijzonder gebied.
