@gmr12508 If it's the tool with the yellow handle - that's called a Stanley SureForm Shaver. If it's the wood-handled one that was thin like a pen then it is a sculptor's tool. Don't know the name of it because it came in a kit. It's like a thicker EXacto knife. I used another sculptor's tool that was a loop to help pop out the little squares of styro for the PVC channel.

Not at all a stupid question. Look for a clay product at Michael's, Hobby Lobby or a hobby/art store called 'DAS Clay'. It's an air dry clay. Now - my favorite air dry clay is called 'Paperclay'. DAS Clay is an equivalant if I can't find Paperclay or need so much that I can't afford it. But the DAS Clay worked really good for the barnacles here.

I glue the printed out pattern to the foam with 3M spray adhesive. Then I just router through the paper. If you put the pattern on while the glue is wet the remains of the pattern will peal off easily.

That is gray latex Drylok paint which is a basement water-proofing paint you can get at Lowe's. If you can only find white have the paint counter tint it for you. I now use a new glue - Glidden Gripper which is a paint primer you can get at Home Depot. I still use foamboard caulk for seams (to fill in). Go to my channel page and look for the link to my blog. Lately I had run into that problem but have switched to a hot knife so haven't figured out what the issue was. With the Dremel I use the 561 bit. Caveat though - I'm not 100% certain of this though. I've gotten confused on which bit in the kit doesn't glob the foam on the end. It could be this other one - the 560 Drywall cutting bit. I've since switched to using a hot knife (Engraver) so I haven't verified the foam globbing issue. I've also thought that perhaps it was a dull bit. Hope that helps
