  • On March 1, 2023, jurors in Alex Murdaugh's double-murder trial visited the family hunting estate known as "Moselle." The nearly 1,800 acre property in rural Colleton County was the site where Murdaugh's wife, Maggie, 52, and son Paul, 22, were shot and killed on June 7, 2021. This is footage of the property as seen immediately after the jury visit ended.

Agree...plus, the dogs saw everything...there are wonderful animal communicators that work with San Diego Zoo, the racehorses at Belmont Park, etc., when they are needed....I have had personal interaction with a handful that are quite famous....how I wish, a forensic animal communicator would talk to these animals...take it with a grain of salt, however you believe...but it would be FASCINATING! ( just like Nicole Brown’ Simpson’s Akita, wandering around the neighborhood , crying all night after the murders......he saw everything! ) 🐶🐶🙏🙏❤️❤️RIP Maggie and Paul.🙏❤️ #TALK2theANIMALS!!

Alex was damned determine she would never see the day. How did he measure the hatred he had in his heart. I don't think he had a human heart and never did. Plus, the property had just been sold. Wonder if this was a final act to garner sympathy from the jurors for the tearless sniffing murderous brother?
As for the blood stains on the kennel walkway, bullet holes, I CANNOT fathom showing and property with such a horrendous sight displayed. Then again, even if I were a multi millionaire, I could never ever own that property let alone reside in that home. But outside of that even though all the money he made and all the properties that he owned that wasn't enough for him he just had to steal money and you can tell how selfish he is. The lack of emotion or this fake tears when his talkin about or someone else is talking about his son and wife speaks volumes. I know everybody grieves and different ways but when you are looking at pictures or you found your son with his head blown off with brain matter everywhere I would believe that someone would react completely different. I feel like Alex have a grudge against his son Paul because of the boat wreck and it was going to mess up their portion of the family name, and we all know that Alex and Maggie were having marital problems that's why she was staying at the beach house . Paul had told his father that Maggie had found the pills and that they needed to talk. He invited them to get his pills back . Nothing else. He probably did something to the dog's tail so they would all go to see it. As a matter of fact if you look at the video the hand that opens the door to the dog's pen is Alec's hand. Why would he open that particular one. Because he did something to the dog. Then suddenly Maggie screams "he's got chicken in this mouth" That's another dog, Bubba , who is running around with something in his mouth. However it's not a chicken. It's the bag of pills that Paul hid somewhere around there. Alec is furious to have been fooled all that time into believing that Maggie had taken the pills so he says" paw paw.. ( that was you all that time) I should have known". It takes the pills. Paul walks to the feed room starts to text. Meanwhile Maggie leaves. Alec gets his guns. Furious, Alec shoots Paul. Maggie comes back he kills her. I still believe that the reason he asked them to come was to get his drug then kill them

It’s wild to think that someone could have all that, the American dream and just throw it all way like trash over some pain pills, lies, theft, and murder? I just can’t comprehend any of it. It’s just insane. And many people say Alex will suffer in prison, but guess what, he won’t. He’s a full blown narcissist and the thing with those type of people is that they can control any atmosphere , Adapt to any environment & manipulate all sorts of people. He will be just fine in prison. He’s already manipulating the system when I heard that jail call to Buster, he wanted them to add money to someone else’s commissary so he can get favors and extra stuff , you can only have $60 at a time, he’s already made bets on sports and won beef sticks and soups, and some candy, he’s adjusting just fine. The one positive out of this is that Buster can break free from his narcissistic father with him in jail. Alex is still controlling Buster via jail. Forcing him to deal with monies & go to law school. He is a terrible human. I think in his eyes if he had to choose between Maggie and a divorce and losing assets, or paw paw getting in trouble with the Mallory beach murder, and him having to pay back all the money he stole he chose prison for life instead. His whole life was set to change, and prison actually felt like a better option for him vs losing everything. That’s a trip! He makes me sick. I hope we can stop talking about him and making videos about him soon, he doesn’t deserve all this attention. The best punishment ever would be for him to fade away in the public eye. Oh how thoughtful...ahemmm. somebody staged a bike for Maggie and an outdoor trinket for Bus Bus before the jurors visited the property and saw the ft of the house...
Moselle just sold for 4.9M$ last week. Not about the home...but the property!

Some people like to live away from everything. I understand this was a free spirit family that liked to hunt. It's so desolate looking now. Word is, Paul was hard working on that place and helped other people also. I suppose if you can't keep up the lawyer name, you have to go. The place looked creepy to me. RIP MAGGIE AND PAUL.

Paul could be a nasty piece of work. The night of the boating accident that killed the girl he was a drunken aggressive brute. His friends pleaded with him to slow down or let someone else drive the boat and he was belligerent. He spit on and slapped his girlfriend. After the incident when their friend was missing he didn’t care. When police arrived he became aggressive with them and had to be restrained. All this was in the deposition and as well as the audio recording of a police interview with one of the friends on scene as they looked for the girl. Paul killed that poor girl. Buster (the older son) likely played a role in the death of his friend Stephen Smith in 2015. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

I just found out about this case a couple of days ago, so I don't know a whole lot about what happened. Why did he kill his son and his wife?
I tried to listen to some of the trial. I watched one video that explains how they were killed and where they found Paul's body, but I haven't heard where they found Maggy. I still don't understand enough. It makes me a nervous wreck listen to the way they were killed. 🥺 I also heard that the house keeper died and he collected money off her insurance or something like that. Then I heard about the boating accident and that poor girl died too. Then there was something about this boy who ran out of gas. They said they thought these people had something to do with his death too. I didn't understand much about that other than they think someone set it up to make it look like a hit and run. I thought....what a mess. I'll try to watch more of the case and find out what happened. May they all RIP. 😥💔🙏🙏🙏

You can look up the trial and information on RUclips. They have a mock up video of how he killed them. It's awful. He was stealing, dealing drugs, doing drugs. Paul was getting ready to go to court for the death of the girl on the boat. He was probably going to jail. Maggie and Paul found out about his drug use. Maggie found out he was trying to put Moselle up for a loan without her knowledge. Alex was fired from his families own law firm just days before he killed them. I really think that he felt if he got rid of them, everyone would feel sorry for him and he could recover from his criminal activities. But it backfired on him when Pauls video came up! Crazy man and crazy family.

This family has generational wealth, and are very prominent in low country SC , and their family name is law. With that, the family use their name to get out of anything shady including Paul, the youngest son who was responsible for killing Mallory Beach in a boat crash in 2019. The dad was a drug user, stole money from clients and his law firm and eventually murdered his wife and son in cold blood. Watch the a Netflix special, you will see more!

@@rhomo , I just watched the prosecution tell the jury about what happened. I didn't want to believe he was quilty until I heard and saw how they tracked the cell phones. How in the world could he do such a thing? That was so awful and so sad. I think my heart skipped a few beats just from listening to it. I mean....why wouldn't you just tell your wife and your son...look this is what has been going on and we're fixing to lose everything we've got. We got to sale everything. Sale the land, the house, everything to make things right. Why couldn't he of just said, hey our lives will never be the same again, but I love you and I'm sorry? Plus he still would have probably had to go to jail. Instead of killing them. My God...!! I would have done anything except kill my family. What a mess. It's so heartbreaking. 🥺😥💔🙏🙏🙏🙏

Actually, I read his lawyers are in so deep there’s a possibility of not getting paid fully. Especially if they file for a retrial. I never understood why any money he had could be used for this defense. IMHO that money should have gone to repay his overwhelming debts to those he stole from. He should have had court appointed representation. But then the people of SC would have been stuck with the huge bill and they’ve clearly been screwed by this man enough.
At least he won’t be practicing law ever again or be able to steal from anyone else.
