He acts that way because he is happy. His owner treats him right. What a little blessing to have. Bet there is no depression or sadness when he is around. 😊
My bird has somehow figured out I don't like poop and seems to have stopped pooping on me. She lets out a big one right after she goes from my shoulder to the perch. She's a little quaker angel (when she's not the devil)
I lost a parakeet when I was a kid because of a glass of water. someone left a glass of water in the office where we kept the birds and he drowned. I was devastated.
Yea thats the right thing to do. Dont ever leave anything that has liquid in it around a bird. Large cups are fine tho but glass is extremely dangerous. İt just has to be large enough for your bird to get out if it falls in.
My budgies are totally opposite. They don’t bite when grabbed , they don’t like baths , they only eat lettuce and apples nothing else (except their seeds) , they only shout in afternoon and sleep at night . They like to fly around my room
My two budgies jack n Jill make me soooooo happy. Even if I’m watching a great movie and they start flying through my kitchen into living room screaming Lolol 🐦 🐦

Do you put a breathable cloth over their cage? I had a mail pigeon once (not actually used for mail, just got it off a family friend) and it barely made a noise at night.
I remember when I got my first budgie, I had a small plastic cup for her water, and I found her trying to squeeze into it to bathe 😂 I got her a bigger water bowl after that lol
That is cute my son just put The byrds under a sink faucet and just let them float around in the sink water.😅 I always tell my son dumped or birds and he's only ten years old. I help take care of them for. Some Moms know best.😊

Lol mine dived in my mum's glass of peach flavoured fizzy water at Christmas, he was loving it. Had to get him a saucer of tap water after that so he wouldn't be sticky. He's always after my feet as well. When I eat a wrap with salad in, he'll come over and start pulling all the spinach out and just eat it like it belongs to him. I also can't write anything with him around. He has to get on my hand and play with the pen or talk to it as I'm trying to write. And god forbid I try to keep tissues or something by me, he has to rip it to shreds and throw the bits on the floor 😅 he's the best. His cage is left open most of the day and he comes and goes as he likes, he's so funny and great company. He loves visitors as well, especially my sister's hair. He'll sit on her head and play with her bun or ponytail for ages. Birds are great pets if you have the time and attention to devote to them, I highly recommend it. If you don't have much time or a safe place for them to fly around when they want, please don't get one. They shouldn't be couped up in their cage all the time, they're very sociable, independent and love their humans to bits. They want to get involved whenever you're doing anything.
I laughed imagining a ball of feathery fury diving towards French fries... My Quaker parrot will scream at me if I don't share Starburst with him, so I get the thief bird in my house too :3
I had a lovebird who would jump into my cereal bowl, while there was still cereal and milk in it. Because she was so tiny, she didn’t sink. She just sat on top of the cereal 😂
