#YAMAHA
Que buen video! Que linda maquina!
Super Cool!
Guess I need to fix my 1970 xs650 up, sell, and use as down payment on one... was already looking at the FZ-07 as a potential next bike.
Beautiful. When will be available in Canada?
***** Never, only sold in Europe.
***** =( Not even in USA? At teaser video shows "USA (2015)".
***** Maybe not never, but first only for Europe, extra parts of the bike from MT-07 are assembled in France. It has been designed in USA though.
***** if found this "Yamaha has released images and a video of its new retro-styled production model, the XSR700. The XSR is a variation of the FZ-07 platform, a retro roadster slightly reminiscent of Ducati’s successful Scrambler. As of this writing, the XSR700 has only been announced by Yamaha Motor Europe, but we expect it will also be sold in North America; we’ll provide an update when we hear back from Yamaha Motor U.S.A."
from www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/yamaha/2016-yamaha-xsr700-revealed-video.html
***** There is still a hope of having it ^^ Thanks for the information.
PLEASE bring to U.S. !!!

Yamaha can consider my money theirs.
Ladies and gentlemen... I present, my next love
Oh yes!
mt07 scrambler?
Revs your heart
Actually the old version way more gorgeous than the new one
If you didn’t desire it before, certainly this dramatic story of two men falling in forbidden interracial love will convince you that you do.
yes finally!
What kind of shoes are there? I really like them. Please help
Not sure what niche this fills that the FZ07 doesn't already, but ok. With all the great recent releases, there had to be a head scratcher eventually I guess. ;)
rclines001 Slap yourself. The retro theme one, that the Ducati Scrambler has exploded all over. ... You're welcome.
rclines001 um no. this will fill it thanx
Mt 07 with retro lights and seat
What's with the Japanese Zero (that killed countless American boys in WWII) at 1:34
Because it's a Japanese bike, with Japanese heritage? And being a European market commercial I'm sure they didn't take Americans feelings into account. And so what if they did? The plane didn't kill them, the Japanese did. And we nuked two of their major cities (and civilians) into a parking lot.
Spencer Conwell
My uncle used to volunteer at the Perl Harbor Memorial. Japanese tourists would visit and he said they could not contain their glee. There may be more going on in the commercial that people think. The Zero was at the very least a poor choice.
*****
Don't worry. I will no longer will buy Yamaha products.
Stefan Kjær Jensen
It doesn't matter what you think. Including the Zero in the ad was still very poor taste.
Should James Bond then be prohibited to use the Walther PPK (German officers pistol during the war) as his sidearm due to British prisoners of war was executed by it? Should Porsche then stop calling their most successful sport car 911 due to the feelings of people who were in New York that day?
I've had it with this policy of removing things that may have a negative symbolism for someone. You'll see stuff that might offend you, but then deal with it instead trying to hide it away.
When I was in London last year i admired the statue of Lord Nelson at Trafalgar Square, put on a column depicting the bombing of Copenhagen during the Napoleonic Wars. According to your logic should I (as a Dane) demand the removal of his statue because of my feelings for that part of history. Even though we in Denmark look at Lord Nelson as a war criminal, we know it would be daft to claim such demands as removing any evidence of his existence.
it is a pretty one
Anyone can tell me what is that Figher Jet name behind the Yamaha ?? I really want to know What's it's name. I think it's made by Mitsubishi .
Zero, Mitsubishi Zero
Really nice! Well done Yamaha
The retro look is definitely in an inverted forks don't really make as big of a difference as people think. Also, you'd lose some of the retro look with fat inverted forks anyways. I'll definitely be test riding one of these if I get the chance.
What is the expected price?
in Vietnam, ít's my dream :)
Looks good rad needs to be black finish more discreet
An MT-07 with less electronics and a kickstart I would buy. If only that was what the XSR was. Royal Enfield doesn't have a problem doing it right...
The radiator is Total deseaster!!! Is this a product on version of this?!
Now sell it for the same prize as the MT-07/ABS or maybe for max. 7.000 and I'm sold! (after all it's "just" an MT-07 with a nicer dress ¿and reworked front suspension? ) I'll wait for it, but anounce the prices ASP. (please don't go too premium price on it =/ )
Yamaha Motor Europe
setoain20 And Available (with limiter) for the A2 licence
you can now get them with a limiter for under £5,000 brand new on gumtree
This is a bike for hipsters... and for anyone who likes motorcycling it its purest form. The retro helmet and googles are not compulsory! It really is a MT with the silly
transformer suit off.
Garbage stereotypical hipster marketing. Bike looks cool though.
+svenskfox You have to admit it was a more refreshing commercial than the usual, and quite well made in addition. But yeah I agree with you on the hipster stuff.
+CockatooDude No, no one has to admit it was refreshing. It's not refreshing, it's stupid.
KTM makes good bike videos.
Congrats to Yamaha for putting every pseudo-custom builder hipster bike cliche in one video. Goggles, half helmets, beards, flannel, tattoos, fake artisans, it's all there, just missing the angle grinder sparks.
+Commie Canuck I'm sure this seemed incredibly cool to the middle aged committee who gave it the go ahead.
+Commie Canuck EXACTLY and Brandom, those are real artists but they where put in the video for hipsters to feel like the can be it too just by spending their money on those.
Yeah, buy a PRE-customized bike, if that even means something and you can be like that too.
Got me I brought one !!!!
Commie Canuck I got 1 too
エグゾーストがSRX600っぽくていいね。
hee we go again... you show another cool demo like the xj1300 and it doesnt come to the USA... :(
Erkin hoca bunu beğendi
Lol, love this bullshit marketing that makes out it was designed by some cool dude with pen and paper in a shed somewhere. I would bet money it was designed on a computer by some young industrial designers under the micro management of a committee of execs, marketers, and HR staff breathing over their shoulders
+tosgem Thanks captain obvious.
Hipsters are not cool..
I would rather see a touring version.
ほしい!
give me na one Yamaha classic modern motorcycle please, I am from India. please tell Yamaha CEO please
No clip ons
Shut up and take my money.
goood
People complaining here about the bike being geared towards hipsters probably dress and look like Santa Claus in the off season
Fred Roman and you're not helping *Roman*
Kind madmax style
12v-240wconvertor
Va falloir sérieusement changer ce pot
This new Karate Kid movie with Justin bieber is going to be a flop. But that bike's a hit.
PS, agree with everyone else about the forks and dorky radiator. But not a deal breaker. Make it please.
I like the retro look - but that intercooler sticks out like dogs balls
Could you have not at least painted it black?
Aum mane padme hum I
another motorcycle for men whom like to dress up. accessorize them selves then pose.
+imhoman Or those who like vintage looking bikes?
CockatooDude or those. but we all know its all about cross dressing.
imhoman Yeah I guess.
I just want one so I have something reliable to join my cafés XD
+imhoman These XSRs are going to be hot commodities parked in front of organic vegan gluten free fair trade cafes.
あー、あかん。
コレメッチャほしい。wwwwwwwww
The bike makes you very attractive to other Bro's I think I'll pass >.>
That hideous gray radiator.
HURRAH
What a ridiculous ad, the only purpose it served was to make me want to go and look at amateur videos of exhausts sounds.
sweet looking bike. but the video sucked. And whats up with the forks? Why would you put those pieces of shit on that bike.
Way too much pretension and glossy production, but way too little of what matters: the motorcycle! Laughable.
cool bike but the video is laughable, give me a break
whats is the point is this retro fake rubbish buy and xs or rd350lc the real deal not this shit ,when are going to build a 700 trail bike mt 07 or do we have to buy and mt 07 and get the parts from JVB MOTO to covert it into a scrambler ?????????
Bad parentheses
Designers it's useless
And too heavy
Garth, that was a Haiku
イメージは悪くないんだけど、作り込みに嘘くささがあるなw 作った風なサイドカバーは既に純正パーツだし、日本人だからと親子でお辞儀するのも不自然www SRのCMもそうだったがヤラセ感はいただけない
So much hipster bullshit.
Oh come on. Everybody has to have a Scrambler now?! Bullshit. Stop copying each other!
And the "supposed designer" in the spot is of course a hipster with a sleeve tattoo. Like every retro designer in the world has to be a hipster with sleeve tattoo.
Np thx, Yamaha. Concentrate on other things please-.-
ExtremeDeathman I'm pretty sure he looks like a retro designer because he is a retro designer.
If everyone's get a scrambler there are more to choose from.
VanfHimself You sir have won the... no you haven't. Your logic is quite iliterate. Because he looks like a retro designer ( and who has set the standards for this?) he is one? WTF? I was talking about the cliche, being sleeve tattooed, wearing old 60's style colors and having on of these mainstream shithead hairstyles.
And fyi: No, he is not a retro designer, he 's a fucking ad model.
ExtremeDeathman well, the new bikes are cool and all, but a lot of people still like the older style looks. I think things like the Kawasaki H2 are incredible for the kinda power they create. But the looks of most sport bikes just never really sit well with me. Seems like every bike is going for that angular look with aerodynamic ridges on the tanks and shit, but I prefer the the older, bubble shaped tanks. Oh, and we would by an actual old bike, but they are impossible to find. I have been looking for a 1994-2002 Honda CB750 F2 for the longest time, but I can't find one. Some of these companies just need to start manufacturing these older models again. No changing shit, maybe updated materials, but the look has got to stay.
