A mansion in heaven, for me? Even if my place in heaven was a 9 foot by 15 foot room, it would be enough for me. All i want is to be with Jesus , wealth means nothing to me, here or there. Just imagine, seeing him in his glorified state- and us being glorified with him, nevermore to sin, feel pain, or die.

"As sad as this whole situation is. It would have been better he hadn’t been born." Were you trying to be poetic here ? What does that even mean ? If he hadn't been born, would Jesus still be crucified, would we be able to have the gift of eternal life ? If someone else betrayed Him, what then, we will go into the same cycle of questions ? And the answer is that we do not know and can't possibly know.

We owe God nothing for His gift of grace, but for the regenerated believer, God's love will drive us to holy living, not that we will never sin, but that we confess our sins and turn from them. Just be careful to not allow your works to be your idol. We dont do good because we are good, but rather we do good because God is good. I hope these words help. Let's not forget about Peter, who betrayed Jesus 3 times in a row. The difference being that Peter repented and trusted Jesus for forgiveness, Judas did not, that's why he killed himself. He didn't trust that God would forgive him, when the reality is, he will forgive anyone who calls in his name and confess their sins❤

    • @robschaller9061
      @robschaller9061 Год назад +1

Pretty easy to judge from the cheap seats.... Judas had the same messianic view the pharisee's had they believed the Messiah was the ruling king who would establish his throne on earth and restore Isreal. We can see this plainly when the disciples would openly ask him when he would set up his kingdom. NO ONE of them understood what Messiah was telling them and Peter actively argued with Christ concerning his sacrifice. In fact Yeshua rebuked Peter for saying that.
It was ordained from the very begining (the begining of creation) that Judas would do what he did. I dont pretend to know the intimate details of those born who have a divine destiny that they will play out. In some ways those few dont have the same level of "free will" that the rest of us have. I for one have FAR too much on my own sinful plate to bother looking at another person alive today or who are spoken about in scripture. Paul in his letter to the Philippians says "So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13for it is God who is at work in you, both to [j]desire and to work for His good pleasure." We are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling... Which is another way to say, you have no place to judge another and esteem yourself as your brother or sisters betters.
Your (and my of course) righteousness no matter how mature your walk is, is but FILTHY RAGS compare with Gods Standard of holiness. For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

Ok, when Peter was against what Jesus said about his death; Jesus followed up in MATTHEW
16:23 by saying "Get away from me Satan". I'm assuming that was Jesus' way of saying this is the way it supposed to happen. Sounds like to me that Judas was in a predestined situation that had to be. Think about it, if Jesus told Satan to "get away him" when Peter was speaking against the will of Gods plan, wouldn't Judas' rejection of God's plan be denounced by Jesus if Peter would have done anything other than betray him? I feel Peter is being destroyed for playing a card that was dealt to him and it's not fair. Isn't it said that heaven and earth will perish before God go back on his word? Jesus spoke of Peter's actions before home did it which comes off as predestined.

So the way it sounds to me is when Jesus says "Get away from me Satan" it is more or less Jesus saying we are not going to do things your way we are going to do them my way and saying Judas was predestined to do what he did would be called fatalism or the belief that all events are predetermined and inevitable the thing is though that GOD/Jesus/ The Holy Spirit gave us all free will to what we want to do so fatalism gets shut down right there because you can't have free will if you are all ready being made to do something yet God knowing what Judas would do before Judas did is still not fatalism because knowing something is not fate it is knowledge@@itachihyuga7553

I am thankful JESUS is the judge. One thing I do know is we are all guilty. Surely if we sin after knowing Christ that too is a betrayal of his grace. We’re all utterly dependent on Gods mercy and grace through the shed blood of Jesus. Christ is our only hope for salvation and our only righteousness. I don’t know if Judas repented or what Jesus will decide on judgment day. But I do know we have all failed Jesus and at times betrayed him for a personal agenda, so all our hope is in Christ the mercy of GOD.

Jesus warned Judas over and over and really Jesus could not force Judas to change his heart.
Scripture tells what’s going to happen it doesn’t make what’s going to happen.
Judas was a thief and a deceiver and probably lived for only this world.
A lot of people when things don’t work out the way they want they just kill themselves .

If it was said he should have never been born, then why was he born in the first place? If Judas was supposed to turn Jesus in which led to the crucifixion, then why say that??? I would hope that Jesus/God one and the same already knew that was going to happen and was designed to happen to save the rest of us. I hope someone can help me understand because I'm disturbed by this. I understand it hurt Jesus emotionally, however, I thought the betrayal has given humanity the opportunity to be saved. Judas totally believed that he was the son of God. Judas unfortunately was looking for the conquering warrior king (the returning of Messiah at the end of the age.) and did not hear/believe that he had come to be the eternal passover lamb. His actions were meant to force Yeshua to assert his kingly throne and rule over the world. There is no way you could spend all that time and see all of those miracles and NOT believe. God new from the conception of creation that this was the reason for Judas existence (why he was born) God new with 100% certainty that Judas would do what he did. Judas motive WASNT to get Yeshua nailed to the cross, it was to "force or manipulate" Yeshua into over throwing Roman rule and re establish the throne of David as prophecied in several old testiment prophecies. NONE of them, NOT ONE, saw what was about to happen... They all fled. As scripture declares like sheep they have all gone astray.

The LORD Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Consider His words in John 6:37. When Jesus is talking about the bread of heaven, He says that all those who hunger after the bread of heaven He will NEVER drive away. We often times feel hard at God for not giving us what we want or for doing what we want. In 2 Corinthians when Paul was tormented he prayed to the LORD to take away his suffering. The LORD merely replied, “my grace is sufficient for you”. Sometimes we go through trials and tribulations in order for God to demonstrate His wonder working power in miraculous ways. Coming back to Him is exactly what He wishes for you to do and to look to the LORD Jesus for strength. Consider also the words of David in Psalms 3:5.
”Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.“
      ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Whenever you feel like giving up or if you feel like God has abandoned you, remember these words always.

You as an adult know that the child does not understand the situation like you do and in fact you may privately laugh at their anger not mockingly but because they do not understand or see what you see and your job as a father is to love and protect them. For those wondering about predetermination, it's a serious question and mental gymnastic, but put simply just because God knew Judas would betray Jesus doesn't mean he created him to. Judas made his own choice through his own life, God simply used the opportunity to fulfill his plan. Whether you are going to hell or not is up to you and it's up to you now whether God knows that you will be with him or not. There is no predetermination except for what you predetermine for your own eternal life. And the knowledge that God has about it is simply a given for the all powerful all knowing. Thought this might help someone. I use to struggle with the concept because of the hypothetical idea that if we could pin point an atom in space we could calculate it's future course, essentially predicting the future. Don't be confused about it though, that's not yet scientifically possible and even if it were we are given free will to make that choice for ourselves. Changing the course of our future. Maybe that's the true miracle and power of our spirit and the Will God allowed us to have for ourselves. Imagine that every moment and decision you make is actually shaping your eternity. Far out, man.

And I don't mean like Jesus just chose him out of a group of people I owe any meenie miney moe, I mean was there a possibility that someone else would have done the same thing as Judas or was this his role in Destiny to fulfill? Now I understand why Jesus would say it would have been better for him never to have been born because the idea that he may have been chosen to be that guy for that particular role no matter where he went in his life it was going to lead him back to that same thing is it possible that he could have been someone else? Meaning did he have the chance to believe in Jesus wholly- or was he like sent by Satan? Was he corrupted by Satan or was it just the law of man perpetuated by the Jewish leaders and the Sadducees and Pharisees? Was he stuck under the law of man or was he chosen by something evil or divine

What bothers me about this though is Jesus knew from the get that Judas would betray him but he still kept him close. So again was this a Divine appointment that he was chosen for or was it from evil? If it was from evil God or Jesus you would think would have distanced himself from this man. He knew what was going to happen before he ever met Judas face to face. So other than fulfilling prophecy what would the point of keeping this man close by be? Truly I would like to get a reply on this because I know I comment on a lot of these videos and never get any kind of answer. Yeshua said that John the Baptist "Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." Call it divine appointment or destiny but there are a handful of people that were born predestined to play the role they are annoited with.

I am a Christian but I simply cannot imagine that Jesus took these words ("it would be better for him not to be born") literally. I mean, how could God let someone be born if it was better for him not to be born? Would it not be cruelty, even towards someone who is so much affected by evil?
I think that as Jesus usally exaggerated his words (for example "if your hand causes you to sin, cut it", or when he talked about the yeast of the Pharisees), this also cannot be a literal statement. He only wanted to say: it will be very bad for Judas if he does this, but it doesn't mean that Judas cannot be forgiven after it. I am not a theologist though, this is just my opinion.

Great question! Jesus' death and resurrection offer salvation to anyone who believes. If you truly believe he died for your sin, and that he rose from the dead, then you needn't be responsible for your own sins any longer.
Romans 10:9 says 'If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.'
Declaring him as Lord means he is YOUR Lord, as well. So you are committing to study and follow his teachings. If you mean it sincerely, then Jesus' death removes all your sin and you become a new person in Christ. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Once you are reborn in Christ, your sin is dealt with, forever. Romans 8:1 tells us:
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"
Jesus did die for your sins, so put your faith in him and that debt is paid. God bless!

The statement you are referring to comes from the Gospel of Matthew, where Jesus says to Judas, "The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born" (Matthew 26:24).
Jesus made this statement because he knew that Judas would betray him. He was aware of the tremendous consequences of betrayal, not only for himself but also for Judas. By saying that it would have been better for Judas if he had not been born, Jesus was expressing the severity of the betrayal and the resulting consequences for Judas's soul. It was a strong statement meant to emphasize the gravity of Judas's actions and the eternal consequences of his betrayal.

    🚨POSSIBLE TRIGGER ALERT🚨
Ok, when Peter was against what Jesus said about his death; Jesus followed up in MATTHEW 16:23 by saying “Get away from me Satan”. I’m assuming that was Jesus’ way of saying this is the way it supposed to happen. Sounds like to me that Judas was in a predestined situation that had to be. Think about it, if Jesus told Satan to “get away him” when Peter was speaking against the will of Gods plan, wouldn’t Judas’ rejection of God’s plan be denounced by Jesus if Peter would have done anything other than betray him? I feel Peter is being destroyed for playing a card that was dealt to him and it’s not fair. Isn’t it said that heaven and earth will perish before God go back on his word? Jesus spoke of Peter’s actions before home did it which comes off as predestined.
I am definitely opened to others opinions if you care to correct me on my thoughts on this matter.

Do you think Judas was the first man saved by Jesus" sacrifice? I'm wondering because at the Last Supper it says when Judas dipped his bread simultaneously with Jesus that Satan entered in to him. The Holy Spirit had not yet come to dwell in men so Satan was able to enter in to him so it was Satan that betrayed Jesus, not Judas. Was Judas possessed? Judas was obviously repententant because he hung himself and the 30 pieces of silver lay at his feet. If Judas was truly in grief over his (?) actions, then why wouldn't Jesus save him? There is no sin outside the rejection of Christ that cannot be forgiven. Just a thought.
Just read the comments. There are too many hateful Christians here. What happened to forgive them they know not what they do. And also for your information, the Jews did not kill Jesus, nor the Romans, it was God the Father and Jesus went willingly to the cross for all of us. Don't let unforgiveness keep you out of the kingdom. As you forgive so will you be forgiven. The worst words a person could ever hear is, "I never knew you"!!

I actually have studied this quite a bit, and I really have a sneaking suspicion that the verse that you're speaking of here, was Rewritten into the Bible by some scribe somewhere. Nowhere in the original writing does it say that Judas actually betrayed jesus, the word you says that he turned him over. The other problem you have is that the explanation of how he died by Falling onto these rocks that split him apart, does not wash with what we know about the place that it's supposedly happened and the actual physical reality of somebody who would have fallen there. For him to be split open, somebody would have had to kill him. Murder him. And if he had made an agreement with the Pharisees and sadducees, those that actually were instrumental in the murder of Jesus christ, even though he rose again, it is clear that they put him on the cross on wednesday, not friday, because the very first comment on the very first holy day of that week came at the end of the day that he was crucified on and that would have been wednesday. Because the Passover High holy day was on Thursday. Friday was not a holy day and Saturday was and that would have put him in the grave three full days and three full nights precisely as Christ implied that he would be in the grave just like Judas was in the whale for 3 days and just like Joseph with his in the hole in the ground for three full days.

As God himself Jesus Christ could look inside of the spirit of every man he purposely chose to be one of his disciples and when he looked inside of Judas what he saw was a man who really would only ever love himself and riches! Jesus knew that Judas love for himself and riches would easily cause him to yield to the devil and do his will to sellout Jesus for what he loved the most which was money at the right appointed time and place! Judas went to Hell because he had a choice to betray Jesus and his choice was to show the Lord Jesus Christ that despite his offer of Salvation that Judas would rather serve Satan and get blood money he knew meant would cost an innocent Jesus Christ his life! That's why it was better for him to have never been born because it wasn't just a regular innocent man that he chose to betray and caused to die!
Here is the controversy: There are those who believe that Judas was always doomed from birth and that he was specifically created to do what he did and betray Jesus? The truth is no man is born simply to be destroyed in Hell. When Jesus Christ looked in of every disciple through the eyes of God he saw men who would love him, serve him, and give all for him, except one guy and that guy was Judas!
Judas was a guy that only loved himself and he only cared about himself coming up and getting wealth and nothing or nobody could come between that self love! Not even if God himself stood before Judas bestowing all the eternal love in Heaven and depended upon Judas to love him back even God himself couldn't compete with Judas love for himself and money! THIS IS THE VERY REASON WHY JUDAS WAS CHOSEN! Judas was specifically chosen for his selfishness and his love of money and the specific fact that at the end of the day no matter what Salvation in eternity Jesus Christ was offering that Judas selfishness and his love for money would be Judas choice over Jesus and Jesus needed to use that in order to get to his appointment on the cross when the time came! That's why Jesus never called him out on stealing the offering money!
(On a side note this is the same reason why it looks like God doesn't have a problem with these filthy rich mega church preachers being worth mega millions while there are people sitting in their ministries in utter poverty because they serve a greater purpose as they they choose to STEAL FROM GOD and at the appointed time they will receive their reward!)
So again Judas was put on the team because Jesus Christ could see his character and unlike any of the other's Judas was the only man with a cutthroat mentality ans Jesus needed a cutthroat who would choose to stay a cutthroat and stab him in the back when the time came!

The immense suffering in the lake of fire (hell) is horrible. Various levels in hell based on one’s sins is horrible but necessary due to judgement severity. And any length of time in hell is going to be horrible.
But unending torment is not so and not justified. Judas will suffer immensely, and more than most because he gave up the most valuable person in the universe to be slain, God the Father’s Son. But like sinners, sin and Satan, at some point must be fully consumed and will be ashes underneath our feet. Malachi 4:3. Satan and his followers (root and branch) will be consumed in the lake of fire (oven) and become as stubble Malachi 4:1. Lessening what Jesus had to say (warn) about hell is not good, because it’s terrible but let’s not throw shade at Jesus and God the Father’s character by claiming our Elohim’s have made a place for unending torture. Who could live in Heaven knowing that their family is going to be tormented for an unending time period? Where is the Justice the promised? The soul that continues to Sin, will eventually die the second death, as it is written.
