My Daughter was raised in Church. Her and her Father and I all got saved and Baptized. About a year or 2 ago, she messed around with a homemade Ouija board. She said strange things were happening in her home because of this. I went over to her house and I could just feel the heaviness and tension all around me. We said a Prayer and I commanded the evil spirits to leave. The dining room lights flickered right after I commanded them to go. After that, she ended up smoking laced marijuana with a bad influence of a friend. It made her very sick. She then became beyond disrespectful to her dad and I. She apologized for her actions and said she didn't know why she did it. She started going back to Church with us but suddenly quit. She moved to a different home and just informed her dad and I that she is a Lesbian. To add insult to injury, the girl she is with just turned 19 and my Daughter is 29. My heart is broken. She has 4 little girls (My Grandbabies) that I have spent so long teaching that this is wrong in the eyes of God. Please Pray for her as I do to let her open her eyes and come back to God.

I’d recommend reading the Bible, or listen. It’s a great collection of stories. Currently I’m in the period of exile listening to Bible in a year. It’s a tough read considering it’s day 220, I started on Lent, I’m only ~30 days behind. It’s worth trying. I’m definitely going to have to reread everything past Kings/Chronicles as well as Proverbs, Song of Solomon, and Psalms.

After I got saved last year. I started to see all kinds of ways people try to interact with and pray to dead people that they call saints and worship their ancestors. It has been written that to no longer be living on earth is to be with the Lord. We shouldn't be committing necromancy aka talking and praying to the dead because the being you spiritually open yourself up to, opening a door to your temple, is likely going to be a familiar demon that was attached to the dead loved one and can mimic them through their intimated knowledge of them. Necromancy invites demons, trickery and manipulation. If you do it anyway, you must test the spirit by having them praise Jesus. Of course they won't since they're not with God. That way you will be shown their true colors and stop playing with fire.
This was good information. It highlights how deceptive the enemy can be. In fact it solidifies Gods word furthermore. The boundaries of his word and nature. The most important argument confirming that it was indeed Samuel who was summoned and interacted with Saul is not mentioned in this video (which is a bit shocking), but is found in a scripture that took place years earlier in the story - 1 Samuel 15:35. After Samuel reproves Saul for not obeying the Lord it says CLEARLY, “And Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death.” And that’s exactly what happened. Samuel is summoned from the earth and within 24 hours Saul is dead in battle. Therefore we see that the Samuel that is summoned by the witch is the same as the prophet who interacted with Saul during his life on earth.
Not exactly. If you read carefully, you'll find that Saul did not die on that day, and what Samuel supposedly told him was not entirely accurate. This is to be expected since "the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing." (Ecc 9:5) No exception is given for those who are raised by the power of a witch.

Also, regarding the “dead knowing nothing”, this is meaning those in the realm of the dead who are not belonging to God - those who reside in thick darkness. Those who belong to God live unto Him, for He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Case in point, Moses died, but was competent enough to meet up with Jesus and Elijah prior to the crucifixion. The great cloud of witnesses spoken of in Hebrews are all conscious and are witnesses to the life of faith that we are called to live. But again, my comment is not about the accuracy of something Samuel said, or about what the dead do or don’t know. Simply that it was Samuel as the text says it was Samuel. Samuel interacts with Saul as Samuel, AND Samuel spoke about things to Saul that would only have been possible for a prophet to do, such as the issue regarding Saul’s disobedience regarding Amalek. He even points out that while we may have long since forgotten about something or ignored it, that issue is still outstanding against us until dealt with. Years after Samuel dies, and on the day of Saul’s death, Samuel is STILL hammering away about Saul’s disobedience with Amalek.

But if you read on instead of assuming that Samuel's impersonator is true, you find that Saul did not die that day or the next, but several days later. You say "Samuel’s words were very accurate and flawless." Samuel's impersonator said "The Lord will also deliver Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines." But Saul does not die at the hands of the Philistines, rather suicide. In 1 Chron 10:13 "So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a FAMILIAR SPIRIT, to inquire of it; And INQUIRED NOT OF THE LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse." Seems Saul died at the hand of the Lord for illegally asking counsel of a medium. Seems strange that the real prophet Samuel would have left that part out.

There was a time, while my father was alive, that he was led by the Holy Ghost to save people from the deadly ones in his highschool. He was brought up to be a fighter by God. Even while he was starving and tired, he found himself being led into dangerous situations by the Lord for others' sakes around him, because the Lord knew he could take it. I'm only seemingly able to take blows and guard the ones I come across, and the ones I love. As well as heal, and speak in tongues, and call on the weather and fire. I believe it was the real Samuel sent not by the witch but by God to prophecy against Saul. People come to a conclusion that they want to fit their theory or theology which doesn’t make it correct. If she wasn’t able to do what he asked he wouldn’t have gone to her, he was desperate for answers and he knew she could. As I mentioned in my post, you don’t forbid anyone from doing something they can’t do. It’s forbidden presumably by God via as Moses reference. There spiritual dangers that come with it that humans can’t control therefore it’s forbidden. If only the so called early church leaders used or had a gift of discernment they would know this, it’s not about trying to comply scripture to fit what you think makes more sense and agreeable to other church hierarchies.

You are reading KJV. Wescott and Hort in late 1800s produced their own Greek Text from Codex Vaticanus and Sinaiticus to replace the Received Greek texts that all the reformers from Wycliffe to Luther etc used. After that in middle 20th century Bible publishers got even worse, making changes to the already corrupt text by committee that included non-Christians as well as Jesuit priests. In the latter part of 20th century they started making translations that are merely paraphrases. THEY ARE CHANGING THE WORD OF GOD. So, buy a Bible that is not from Wescott and Hort’s Translation. Of course, the cheapest way to go is KJV, which I believe you have. But the Geneva Bible would be ok, but expensive. The commenter who said read it again probably has a later translation. By the way the OT, Psalms etc are all horribly corrupted. I have been researching and I’m so shocked by all this.

Apostolic Churches such as all of the Orthodox Churches have always had Wisdom Of Sirach as still part of the Biblical Cannon. While Non-Apostolic churches and Evangelicals/Protestants hold it as Deuterocanonical or apocryphal. In either case the book shows the traditional understanding that it was Samuel who spoke from the grave. Verse 46:20 states ," Even after he fell asleep, he prophesied, and showed the king his end, and lifted up his voice from the earth in prophecy, to blot out the wickedness of the people." - Sirach 46:20. It was Samuel. The Bible says it was Samuel and it seems to be confirmed by Sirach 46:20. Many heretical sects removed the Wisdom of Sirach and Maccabees partly because of the witness of deoarted saints who were seen praying for the living... but the Orthodox Church has kept it since Apostolic times.

The Early Church did not believe in soul sleep. Your comment about the Church of Rome is not relevant as the person who made the above replies regarding Sirach 46:20 is from the Orthodox Church of Alexandria, not the Roman Catholic Church.

samuel told saul to wait until he got there to perform the scarifice, but saul didn’t wait and god didn’t accept Saul's sacrifice. Then saul becomes jealous of David and runs to the Endor witches. Saul tricks the witch and asks to speak with Samuel who already passed. Samuel says to saul, "why did you bring me up.... tomorrow you and your sons will be with me!" (1 Samuel 28:19)
You really nailed this issue of what happens at death. So many people and channels get this wrong. It's like 99% of channels. Even people I strongly agree with on many many topics get this wrong because, I think, it's embedded in minds from media and mystery religion teachings. It frustrates me to death that people can't get this one straight. It's so clear that sheol is just death or the grave but some verses are poetic in it's use so people want it to be true. Jonah crying from sheol while being in the belly of the fish and Samuel being called from the dead are two massive stories used. The 3rd is Lazarus and the Richman but clearly this is a parable to the pharisees, who at the time, are steeped in the mystery religious beliefs and see the purification of the 'soul' in fire as something that is reality sort of like purgatory. It comes from Babylonian thinking. That's why they use imagery of fire especially in the NT. In all of Matthew, 'Jesus' says gehenna which gets translated as 'hell'. They then translate Tartarus and sheol as 'hell' but in reality the lake of fire is only mentioned during the time of judgement and death and sheol are thrown in the lake of fire with everyone else who fails the 2nd test which is called the 2nd death.... not the 2nd eternal life in 'hell' but death. Only the fallen angels who are in an abyss chained up and then the false prophet, the beast, and devil are ever said to spend any time conscious in 'hell' fire or a burning lake or in the abyss of the earth. Jesus says so many times sleep. Lazarus was sleeping. So to say Samuel was actually raised would be to say he wasn't asleep in Christ but became a demonic spirit. Never, anywhere in the bible does it ever speak of evil spirits being humans. Only slight hints that they are fallen angels or possibly Nephalim unless you believe in 1 Enoch which you shouldn't because I have 99 reasons that book is not inspired because it lies multiple times. People want to know and be privy to secret knowledge but the guidelines are simple. The lust of unfruitful knowledge is why we are where we are at the end of the day, in part. For those who think that Christians are conscious with Jesus immediately after the death of the body, I have two questions: 1. Why did people who were resurrected in the Bible (and there's at least 5 of them) never have anything to say about Heaven? Proof from Scripture, please. 2. If the PERSON is conscious in Heaven - supposedly knowing and feeling and seeing and loving, etc - then what was the point in having a body in the first place? 1) St. Paul says it was not lawful for him to utter what he saw in Paradise. How much more those whom you mentioned as having been resurrected. 2) Humans are created a body, soul, and spirit. My mother got involved with mediums... Fortune Tellers, wee Jee boards, etc. They plunged her into darkness and she was never able to come out of it. She was faithful to Christianity but lost her way. It was sad to watch her deteriorate. She died suddenly. This video is so helpful. My Daughter was raised in Church. Her and her Father and I all got saved and Baptized. About a year or 2 ago, she messed around with a homemade Ouija board. She said strange things were happening in her home because of this. I went over to her house and I could just feel the heaviness and tension all around me. It has been written that to no longer be living on earth is to be with the Lord. We shouldn't be committing necromancy aka talking and praying to the dead because the being you spiritually open yourself up to, opening a door to your temple, is likely going to be a familiar demon that was attached to the dead loved one and can mimic them through their intimated knowledge of them. Necromancy invites demons, trickery and manipulation.

This was good information. It highlights how deceptive the enemy can be. In fact it solidifies Gods word furthermore. The boundaries of his word and nature. For the child of God stay obedient for the sinner repent and regain focus. As a sinner I fell but I have hope that one day God will bring me back to my feet. The most important argument confirming that it was indeed Samuel who was summoned and interacted with Saul is not mentioned in this video (which is a bit shocking), but is found in a scripture that took place years earlier in the story - 1 Samuel 15:35. After Samuel reproves Saul for not obeying the Lord it says CLEARLY, “And Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death.” And that’s exactly what happened. Samuel is summoned from the earth and within 24 hours Saul is dead in battle. Therefore we see that the Samuel that is summoned by the witch is the same as the prophet who interacted with Saul during his life on earth.
Not exactly. If you read carefully, you'll find that Saul did not die on that day, and what Samuel supposedly told him was not entirely accurate. This is to be expected since "the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing." (Ecc 9:5) No exception is given for those who are raised by the power of a witch.

@@robjr8774 Saul did die on that day - because the Jewish day was from sundown to sundown, not to mention the fact that this encounter with the witch went through the night so it would have been well past midnight at any rate. Not sure what you are referencing regarding the accuracy of something Samuel said, but I’m not addressing the accuracy (or lack thereof) of something Samuel said, but rather that it was Samuel. Also, regarding the “dead knowing nothing”, this is meaning those in the realm of the dead who are not belonging to God - those who reside in thick darkness. Those who belong to God live unto Him, for He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. Case in point, Moses died, but was competent enough to meet up with Jesus and Elijah prior to the crucifixion. The great cloud of witnesses spoken of in Hebrews are all conscious and are witnesses to the life of faith that we are called to live. But again, my comment is not about the accuracy of something Samuel said, or about what the dead do or don’t know. Simply that it was Samuel as the text says it was Samuel. Samuel interacts with Saul as Samuel, AND Samuel spoke about things to Saul that would only have been possible for a prophet to do, such as the issue regarding Saul’s disobedience regarding Amalek. Samuel’s words were very accurate and flawless. He even points out that while we may have long since forgotten about something or ignored it, that issue is still outstanding against us until dealt with. Years after Samuel dies, and on the day of Saul’s death, Samuel is STILL hammering away about Saul’s disobedience with Amalek.

But if you read on instead of assuming that Samuel's impersonator is true, you find that Saul did not die that day or the next, but several days later. You say "Samuel’s words were very accurate and flawless." Samuel's impersonator said "The Lord will also deliver Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines." But Saul does not die at the hands of the Philistines, rather suicide. In 1 Chron 10:13 "So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a FAMILIAR SPIRIT, to inquire of it; And INQUIRED NOT OF THE LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse." Seems Saul died at the hand of the Lord for illegally asking counsel of a medium. Seems strange that the real prophet Samuel would have left that part out.

These are eye opening messages. I have a question concerning the condemnation of all the characters mentioned to be put to death if such spirits or acts are found among them. I believe that God choose Jacob's house (from the same man he promised, Abraham) to be his people for specific reason. To be his Worshippers. The question therefore is, What about if God first Commandment to is chosen people was the reason for these prohibitions, to ensure his dominance and authority? Funny how professed Christians believe that thing that was summoned by the witch was Samuel, the prophet of God. Read: Samuel 15:23-35 it states that Samuel saw Saul no more till the day of his death. That doesn't mean that the prophet saw after his death, it means he never saw Saul again in his lifetime.

You are reading KJV. Wescott and Hort in late 1800s produced their own Greek Text from Codex Vaticanus and Sinaiticus to replace the Received Greek texts that all the reformers from Wycliffe to Luther etc used. After that in middle 20th century Bible publishers got even worse, making changes to the already corrupt text by committee that included non-Christians as well as Jesuit priests. In the latter part of 20th century they started making translations that are merely paraphrases. THEY ARE CHANGING THE WORD OF GOD. So, buy a Bible that is not from Wescott and Hort’s Translation. Of course, the cheapest way to go is KJV, which I believe you have. But the Geneva Bible would be ok, but expensive. The commenter who said read it again probably has a later translation. By the way the OT, Psalms etc are all horribly corrupted. I have been researching and I’m so shocked by all this.

Apostolic Churches such as all of the Orthodox Churches have always had Wisdom Of Sirach as still part of the Biblical Cannon. While Non-Apostolic churches and Evangelicals/Protestants hold it as Deuterocanonical or apocryphal. In either case the book shows the traditional understanding that it was Samuel who spoke from the grave.

You really nailed this issue of what happens at death. So many people and channels get this wrong. It's like 99% of channels. Even people I strongly agree with on many many topics get this wrong because, I think, it's embedded in minds from media and mystery religion teachings. It frustrates me to death that people can't get this one straight. It's so clear that sheol is just death or the grave but some verses are poetic in it's use so people want it to be true. Jonah crying from sheol while being in the belly of the fish and Samuel being called from the dead are two massive stories used. The 3rd is Lazarus and the Richman but clearly this is a parable to the pharisees, who at the time, are steeped in the mystery religious beliefs and see the purification of the 'soul' in fire as something that is reality sort of like purgatory. It comes from Babylonian thinking. That's why they use imagery of fire especially in the NT. In all of Matthew, 'Jesus' says gehenna which gets translated as 'hell'. They then translate Tartarus and sheol as 'hell' but in reality the lake of fire is only mentioned during the time of judgement and death and sheol are thrown in the lake of fire with everyone else who fails the 2nd test which is called the 2nd death.... not the 2nd eternal life in 'hell' but death. Only the fallen angels who are in an abyss chained up and then the false prophet, the beast, and devil are ever said to spend any time conscious in 'hell' fire or a burning lake or in the abyss of the earth. Jesus says so many times sleep. Lazarus was sleeping. So to say Samuel was actually raised would be to say he wasn't asleep in Christ but became a demonic spirit. Never, anywhere in the bible does it ever speak of evil spirits being humans. Only slight hints that they are fallen angels or possibly Nephalim unless you believe in 1 Enoch which you shouldn't because I have 99 reasons that book is not inspired because it lies multiple times. People want to know and be privy to secret knowledge but the guidelines are simple. The lust of unfruitful knowledge is why we are where we are at the end of the day, in part. For those who think that Christians are conscious with Jesus immediately after the death of the body, I have two questions:
1. Why did people who were resurrected in the Bible (and there's at least 5 of them) never have anything to say about Heaven? Proof from Scripture, please.
2. If the PERSON is conscious in Heaven - supposedly knowing and feeling and seeing and loving, etc - then what was the point in having a body in the first place? Or do you think Satan imprisoned our souls in the flesh, like the Gnostics teach?
3. Don't answer my questions with a question. That's cheating, and you know it.
1) St. Paul says it was not lawful for him to utter what he saw in Paradise. How much more those whom you mentioned as having been resurrected.
2) Humans are created a body, soul, and spirit. They are not neat to be separate. That is why there is a resurrection, when a person spirit will reunite with their body and live that way forever in heaven. In the meantime God sustains the persons identity/consciousness/spirit. The Gospel of Luke saus about the dead that "they all live to him"

Sirach confirms the plain understanding that Samuel spoke to Saul. Ot also shows the original belief and faith of the Israelites at the time, that the spirit/soul is conscious after death.
For all those who believe in the heresy of Soul Sleep, you should be made aware that the Large concensus and teaching of the the early Church Fathers and the earliest Apostolic Christians taught the complete opposite of Soul sleep. So if you believe in or teach Soul sleep, you are subscribing yo an unorthodox aberration that is completely different than true Orthidox Christianity.
