Today, we will reflect together on an astonishing episode from the Gospel, when the angel Gabriel visits Zechariah and announces the coming birth of John the Baptist. However, Zechariah, doubtful, asks the angel for a sign, to which Gabriel decrees his muteness. After this, Zechariah becomes mute until the birth of John. The story of Zechariah and Elizabeth in the Gospel of Luke offers rich spiritual teachings. It is a story of hope, of persevering in faith and of the fulfillment of divine promises.
This story takes place in the book of Luke. Luke uses language almost equal to the reverence he reserves for Jesus. The story presents Zechariah and Elizabeth. While Zechariah, who was a priest, was carrying out his duties in the temple, he had a vision of an angel. Luke 1:5-11
He didn't do it because he was angry but the danger if Zachariah kept speaking in unbelief. Peace be with you

The angel was angry because of unbelief, and unbelief has consequences.

Did the angel Gabriel become angry with Zechariah ? No. It was because Zechariah showed a lack of faith in Gabriel's words that he and Elizabeth would have a son in their old age, saying to Gabriel: "How can I be sure of this ? For I am old, and my wife is well along in years", he made Zechariah silent, unable to speak until his son, John, was born, saying to him:
"I am Gaʹbri·el, who stands near before God, and I was sent to speak with you and to declare this good news to you. But look ! you will be silent and unable to speak until the day these things take place (of John's birth), because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their appointed time."(Luke 1:18-20)
So, to say that the angel Gabriel became angry with Zechariah for his lack of faith in Gabriel's words, for Elizabeth was "barren", is "twisting scripture", making it appear as something it is NOT. It is just as the angel that visited Abram and Sarai to inform them that Sarai would have a son at 90 years old (in which the angel changed their names to Abraham, meaning "father of a multitude", and to Sarah, meaning "Princess").
Sarah laughed at even the thought of it, for she "was past the age of childbearing" (Gen 18:11), and the angel (who later became known as Jesus Christ, as "the Word of God", Rev 19:13; John 1:1) who spoke as if he God, whose name is Jehovah (see Isa 12:2, KJV), told Abraham:
"Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Am I really going to give birth even though I am old ?’ Is anything too extraordinary for Jehovah ? I will return to you next year at this appointed time, and Sarah will have a son." But Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh !” for she was afraid. At this he said: “Yes ! You did laugh.”(Gen 18:13-15)
Sarah was not muted for laughing at the thought of having a son at age 90, but the angel did correct her lack of faith, saying that there is not "anything too extraordinary for Jehovah", that "with God all things are possible."(Matt 19:26)
No. It was because He is the head of the family and therefore he was muted as to not speak sinfully (outside of faith) against the promise of God and by his own priestly mouth, make inactive the Word of The Lord, which he should be speaking faithfully to the people. The new covenant was not inaugurated until the death of our King Jesus. God bless

@lescurtis. I took a screenshot of the girl (19:12) and was then able to see the earring. And I agree with you 100% that is not God like.; however I wonder if the author of this story even notice it? I wish he would answer us. . Maybe he is innocent in this and did not realize it.

As far as I know, it is a video! The one (or ones) who makes it does not create the images. Do you know how long a video takes? You choose the best images for what you want to show. Each one of us has specific expectations: no lipstick, no earrings, no showing flesh, no….. at the end of the day, it is the message that counts, NOT the images. You are missing the point guys.
