Vika vs Serena is one of the best tennis rivalries ever . They were always facing each other on semi and finals , I will never forget how hard it was for Vika to keep up on 2012-2013 ! Especially on the us open finals

    1) The amount of times she had to play Serena is insane - Serena really was the unstoppable force that drove womens tennis and Vika was an amazing rival from the very begining
2- after her 2nd AO I was convinced she'd win more hardcourt slams (never saw her winning French or Wimby personally)
3- Unrelated to Vika... but Jessie needs to watch that 2021 match back and get back to that tennis mentally

Aga didn't win a lot vs Vika but when she did, she made sure for it to be painful. Just watch YEC 2009 and Aga coming back from 4:6 2:5 smashing winners like never before and injuring Vika.

Another great topic for a video sabinelisickifans!!! - as a WTA fan who started watching in 2011 (including sabine’s iconic Wimby SF anddd her iconic summer hardcourt matches that year that are soo underrated - contenders for some of the best tennis of the year - particularly v Zvonareva and Radwanska (both of whom she would meet in slams soon btw 👀) always appreciate your videos 💙🎾

She should win 6:4 6:0, she simply run out of energy and had nothing left, she gave her heart and soul to even take it into tiebreak and Serena was known for ending players who wasted their chances. She was simply better than Williams but couldn't play anymore in that heat and lost all her stamina

Aggie was never dominant vs Vika, but 3 out of 5 wins are permanent blows in Vika's career.
First round win at Wimbledon 2006 where Aga was a wildcard and Vika was already high enough to be featured without qualifying, 2009 YEC win where Aga came from 4:6 2:5 back into the match smashing winners left and right and ultimately causing Vika's injury in 3rd set, and that 2014 AO, where Aga permanently ended Vika's reign as an active slam champion.
