I heard Angie Thomas speak about On the Come Up earlier this year. She said she has already started writing her 3rd book - that it would be set in Garden Heights and be focused on a character we have already met at some point in Book 1 and 2!
oh i read radio silence last week because i kept seeing it on booktube and i swear its my favourite now it's SO GOOD! yalls recommendations are literally magic
You do not know how much comfort your videos bring to me. I started watching your videos when I was learning English language three years ago, and your videos helped me a lot to improve my language. Now, I’m first year pharmacy student at one of the top 10 universities in the US, and when ever I feel stressed from my classes I just watch your videos and they will change my mood and make me feel better. I really appreciate all the work and time you put for this channel, and I just want you to know that you’re doing something beyond what you would think. I wish you all the luck for your upcoming book 💛✨✨.
Hey Hailey! I know that you don't know me but you and Hanna (A Clockwork Reader) have inspired me so much since I have been following you two. I'll always follow book lists that you two share in videos because you guys mean to me a lot.
I always tell myself that I need to get 'round to reading some books of Brandon Sanderson's, but I never expected that the one that pushes me over the edge would be a sci-fi novel. Like yourself, I struggle with science fiction but it sounds like I may just love this particular one of Sanderson's novels!
All I can say is that my heart was full in you describing Angie Thomas' book. Thank you for your heartfelt thoughts of this novel. That is all that I will say! Thank you!
One of my favourite authors is V.C. Andrews, and while like 90% of her books are ghost written, the earlier stuff is so good. In my opinion anything after 2005 got just repetitive and the writing got worse. No one really talks about her on here and I just loved her books so much growing up and wish more people talked about her. I recommend the Dollanganger series, the Casteel series, the Hudson series and the De Beers series (my personal favorite). They're a lot of drama and children in trouble and maybe I loved her books so much because of my childhood, but yeah..I'll stop typing now.
Loved this video! I'm always on the look out for new books to read that I haven't heard of before and this was perfect! Definitely adding them to my list :)
Here saying that I absolutely love your blonde haircolor! I know you had it colored a while ago, but here to say it again. Being from Scotland, not sure I'd read her Royal Highness, as I hope it would have a good explanation for why Scotland has a princess XD I thought that Skyward wasn't YA... It's still on my tbr, but I have to wait until I'm on holiday to be able to read it
I read On The Come Up earlier this year and it was okay. Not up to the The Hate U Give standards which was amazing. I'm currently reading Skyward and I'm absolutely loving it. I also agree with everything you said about it.
I think you’ve been reading adult romance throughout the year. You should read A Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkness because it’s got an adult romance but also soooooo much more!!! It’s also my favourite book EVER!!!!
Enjoyed this video so much!! I'll be making my way through Skyward, Daisy Jones and Her Royal Highness now. 😁 can't wait for the next set of recommendations. 😍
My number 1 book for people to read (because it’s my favourite book) is The Clay Girl by Heather Tucker. It deals with lots of issues like drugs, parental abuse, and many other things but it also talks about love (guardian love, friend love, romantic love) and how important it is for someone. Also it’s Canadian!
I was so shocked when i found out that the book community loves Radio Silence....i hated it so much when i read it that i almost want to reread it to see if it was just my mood at the time
Hailey, I think you would enjoy a book called Dixieland Sushi by Cara Lockwood. It's a fun, funny, & fast read. 1-part cute, 1-part fluff, 1-part romance.
Daisy Jones and the Six, and Her Royal Highness were both amazing in each their way :) now you made me want to read Skyward. And I'm not even into sci fi ✌️😊
I am currently listening to the audiobook to the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I have like 2 and a half hours left of the audiobook and I am not enjoying this book as much like everyone else is either, I would give the book a 3 star, if I had to give it a higher rating I would say a 3.5 star at most of what I read/listened to it.
Do you think a kind of "recommended based on... " would be something you'd enjoy to do? Because I really always trust your recommendations and would love more books like "Daisy Jones and the six" and can't seem to find any more like it. Just an idea :)
Haha strived is technically a word but I think you were looking for strove or striven. What she’s always striven to be. What she’s always strived to be. What she always strove to be. (No ‘s for the last one).
you need to find your own path for success and your own path for happiness and one you find your path for happiness more so is one you'll be sucessful. Amazing.
Hi Hailey i'm not sure if you'll see this but.. Can you make a video of modern novels set in nineteenth century. Like novels set in Victorian time or something. I've been looking for novels like that but none has been as interesting.
Woah I was like number 1000 !!!! I love you so much you are so gorgeous 💛 I wish I had a friend like you or maybe even you 😂 hopefully one day I will finally get to meet youuu!!!!!
ugh i'm so on and off with whether or not i wanna pick up Skyward. it makes me think of Treasure Planet - which is a big fave of mine - but at the same time idk if i have the mental capacity for it because i'm not big on sci-fi D:
Thrive for? AT: 8:10? Love this video and got some new books to read!(: A book that u should read is: City of ghost, autoboyography, Thunderhead, Caputring the devil, the near witch. I think u might have read 2 of these already oops!(:
Um..guys if you are Bibliophile...and don't wanna waste money on books...just download "anybooks" there you can find almost any books and read it for free...this app is there in play store...~ welcome

Hailey: *posts new video*
My wallet: *ʙᴇɢɪɴs ᴛᴏ sʜᴜᴅᴅᴇʀ*
Me : How many books do I need to read?
Hailey : Yes
Wow accurate
I heard Angie Thomas speak about On the Come Up earlier this year. She said she has already started writing her 3rd book - that it would be set in Garden Heights and be focused on a character we have already met at some point in Book 1 and 2!
Stagey Bookish yay can’t wait
Paperbacks get damaged easily and hard covers are expensive.
Sanderson is one of my favorites. I highly recommend the Mistborn books and The Rithmatist, but really any of his books are amazing.
I immediately went and read Her Royal Highness after this and I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED AHHHHHH
oh i read radio silence last week because i kept seeing it on booktube and i swear its my favourite now it's SO GOOD! yalls recommendations are literally magic

My tbr keep getting bigger and bigger😭😭But love to have options. Am I right? I love the makeup though😍💖

I was really nervous for On the Come Up, but damn, Angie Thomas came through! She's such a queen❤🌸👌🏼
i absolutely loved the audiobook for On The Come Up, the narrator put in so much emotion and i absolutely loved it
My friend and I both read Radio Silence and we both said we'd love to see an accurate movie adaptation
More books to read! XD Radio Silence has been on my TBR for a while now, I'll definitely have to get for it now. :)
I agree with Hailey radio silence is amazing but make sure to keep a box of tissues next to you
All I can say is that my heart was full in you describing Angie Thomas' book. Thank you for your heartfelt thoughts of this novel. That is all that I will say! Thank you!
I've read Her Royal Highness and fell in love! It's also my favorite of the two! FLORA!!
Love watching you! Always brings a smile to my face💛
I’ve read and loved all of these in 2019!! Skyward is my favorite book of the year so far. 💜💜
On the Come Up and Daisy Jones were two of my fav audiobooks from this year!
I’ve read all of them except Her Royal Highness. That’ll definitely be going on my TBR.
One of my favourite authors is V.C. Andrews, and while like 90% of her books are ghost written, the earlier stuff is so good. Oh! I am also not a huge fan of scifi but I think I'll try Skyward as well!
Well ok fine Hailey i'll move these to the top of my tbr
I needed radio silence lol it's sad there isn't many out there.
Honestly!!
Loved this video! I'm always on the look out for new books to read that I haven't heard of before and this was perfect! Definitely adding them to my list :)

I'm currently reading Skyward and I'm absolutely loving it. I also agree with everything you said about it.
The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson is AMAZING but we’ve been waiting for a sequel for yearrsssssss
My tbr list is already dangerously big, and you are making it even bigger! 😁
yess!! i love Skyward and same it was my first Brandon Sanderson book. I can't wait for Starsight
I think you’ve been reading adult romance throughout the year. You should read A Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkness because it’s got an adult romance but also soooooo much more!!! It’s also my favourite book EVER!!!!

you may have just convinced me to read a sci-fi...
My number 1 book for people to read (because it’s my favourite book) is The Clay Girl by Heather Tucker. I used to love reading but I stopped in 9th grade and right now watching your videos are getting me into reading again, so thank you.
Loved skyward. It's not my first Sanderson but I definitely feel it's one of my favourites. Love is ya writing style
I love the mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson it’s so good you will love it
It's on my TBR!

I read Skyward this passed summer and I loved it!!
Brandon Sanderson is really really good.
Radio Silence was really refreshing and hit so close to home.
I've never been this early to anything in my eNtIRe LIfE!! Yay for me!
I'm so ready for the next Skyward book.
Loving these fall make up looks
Daisy Jones & Six is absolutely incredible.
Great list, thanks for sharing. I'm definitely adding some of these to my reading list!! :)
Your flannel top is gorgeous!
I was so shocked when i found out that the book community loves Radio Silence....i hated it so much when i read it that i almost want to reread it to see if it was just my mood at the time
The sentient space ship is making me think of Iko and if the comparison is valid I would like Skyward 100% more when I do read it!
Hailey, I think you would enjoy a book called Dixieland Sushi by Cara Lockwood. It's a fun, funny, & fast read. 1-part cute, 1-part fluff, 1-part romance.
I just bought Radio Silence yesterday!
Radio Silence and on the come up are some of my faves
Have you read house of salt and sorrows??? It’s a 12 dancing princesses retelling and it’s so good!
Daisy Jones and the Six, and Her Royal Highness were both amazing in each their way :) now you made me want to read Skyward. And I'm not even into sci fi ✌️😊
Now I need to read Skyward and Radio Silence, because I read the other 3 and I am a completist. (also loved those other 3)
I am currently listening to the audiobook to the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, I have like 2 and a half hours left of the audiobook and I am not enjoying this book as much like everyone else is either, I would give the book a 3 star, if I had to give it a higher rating I would say a 3.5 star at most of what I read/listened to it.

Read the Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson, it’s amazing! It’s my favorite series of all time
Haha strived is technically a word but I think you were looking for strove or striven.
What she’s always striven to be.
What she’s always strived to be.
What she always strove to be. (No ‘s for the last one).
These are popular books that I have yet to read. 📖😅
I am excited to read On the Come Up. I enjoyed The Hate U Give. 👍😁
I'm really glad you enjoyed Skyward!
Hailey. same thought on angie Thomas. love you keep going. x
I don't really read fantasy these days but Ive read and loved all of the other 4 mentioned so maybe I'll have to pick up skyward
On the Come Up is on my TBR and yep, I'm somehow afraid to delve into it. ✌️
you need to find your own path for success and your own path for happiness and one you find your path for happiness more so is one you'll be sucessful.
Amazing.
💜💜 love a Hailey video 😁😁
YES RADIO SILENCE!!!!!!!!
Brandon Sanderson - Stormlight Archive books are really good. :)
Love the video💕
I recently tried reading Skyward but wasn't in the mood for it, precisely because I don't tend to like sci-fi. I will give it another try though!
What lipstick are you wearing!? I love how it looks on you
always on the look for more books to read! my only problem is that I don’t have a job and my library doesn’t carry many books :(
Hailey really just made me want to read a Sci Fi. You have no idea how rare that is
I LOVE Brandon Sanderson and I am all about the fact that Skyward was not romance driven in any way. 🙌
Hi
Hailey i'm not sure if you'll see this but.. Can you make a video of modern novels set in nineteenth century. Like novels set in Victorian time or something. I've been looking for novels like that but none has been as interesting.

I read "The Hate U Give" but unfortunately didn't like it, I know it's such an unpopular opinion
I love the blonde hair 👱🏻♀️😁
