I literally finished Serpent and Dove today and it’s amazing!!!! So so good!!! I hate that I have to wait till August next year for the sequel becoz it ended on such a cliff hanger🥺. But do not be deterred by that, it was absolutely incredible!

I listened to the audiobook for If We Were Villains at the beginning of the month and absolutely loved it! I own Serpent & Dove, The Beautiful, and Ninth House and I’m hoping to get to them soon! I’m also interested in reading The Starless Sea because you talk so highly of Erin Morgenstern’s writing (I still really need to read The Night Circus as well🤭). The 2 books that I really need to get to though are Wayward Son and Call Down the Hawk! Those two are my most anticipated books of the year!

I’ve been reading a lot of Joe Hill lately. If We Were Villains was alright. I mean, it’s no Secret History but it was still a very fun read. I think Drama/theater students/fans would definitely enjoy it.
I read The Beautiful already and really loved it. Definitely gave me Interview with the Vampire feels as I was reading it. Renee has such a gorgeous writing style. I don't think the book will be for everyone, especially if they are expecting the same kinds of vampire books that were popular around the Twilight era. This is a totally different vibe and I am here for it!
I'm half way through gone with the wind by Margaret Mitchell and Hannah you need to read that! Afterwards I'm really desperate to read Wuthering heights, Emma and also atonement I'm now really excited to read the ninth house and starless sea!!

I totally agree with the comeback of vampires!! And I LOVE interview with the vampire. The book is amazing! It’s also a super long series! You’ll have a lot to choose from! It’s all really fun, but interview with a vampire is probably my favorite.

Since I've read If We Were Liars earlier this year (after seeing V.E. Schwab recommend it!!!) I am so excited whenever I see people picking it up! While I did guess who did it, the book was such a wild ride! I love the characters and I love the setting and the writing and the themes and ugh! More people...actually EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK! IT'S SO GREAT!
I really wanna read Wayward Son, but I live in a small town and haven't been able to find it so I've had to wait till I go to the city but I'll be going in two days! I can't wait! I'm also working my way through The Goldfinch because I don't want to come across spoilers for it now that the movie has been out awhile

If you like witch themed books, I’d definitely recommend How to Hang a Witch by Adrianna Mather.
Books I'd recommend is "Friends For Life" by Andrew Norris. And the Roman Britain Trilogy by Rosemary Sutcliff.
Ninth House was fantastic, starts off a bit confusing but once it really takes off, it doesn't let go. It became one of my top favorites
