    The 320s are great panels. I like the Onyx series since you can actually program them. I wish the Simplex ES panels can be like that. I’m looking forward to a demo board of this panel (along with the SFP-10UD).

    EIA Ports are for the annunciators,
    Security tamper is for if you have a tamper switch for the panel door.
    These panels are very simple once you learn how to program it.
    You can get the unlicensed version of verifier tools, but I find it more simple to field program the panel rather than messing with verifier tools.

      Thanks. So you think it’s a NFS 2-640? If you don’t mind could you leave the time In the video that you saw where it said 640 you got me really curious now

      @@nics-systems-electric yes by looking the panel position and the size of the chassis yes I would say is a 640 you can look it on the edge of the board down the SLC TERMINAL, or using the lamp test and seeing the model on the display!! Or maybe cause is the Canadian model is different but normal NFS-320 the chassis is smaller that's the panel I have on my DEMO board!! Stay safe and have fun! Let me know what do you find!!! ...

    Hey, for that Ground fault recognition switch, I guess that would make sense to disable it if the CPU had a problem permanent ground fault, and people don’t want to hear it go into trouble all the time while they wait on a new CPU

    Nice panel! The 9600UDLS does have an option for class A nacs.

      @@nics-systems-electric There is a card that you flip around right below the Mac terminals, you flip it one way for class A and the other way for class B. I can make a video on it.

    I LIKE NOTIFIER BETTER THEN EDWARDS EST I WISHED MY SCHOOL HAD NOTIFIER INSTEAD OF EDWARDS EST FOR THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.

    1:55 What does checking memory mean? Can you add more RAM to make it respond to fires faster?

      no it’s just rebooting and checking if it has been programmed for a system or not

    I have a question for you. Does the nfs-320 program the same with the panels keypad as the nfs-320C? Also are they basically the same panel? Thanks!

    Do you need to use the same brand smoke detectors or just any addressable 2 wire smoke?

      You are supposed to use notifier if it’s a real protection system as it needs to be compatible with panel but fire lite devices will also work as well as some silent knight devices if it’s just as a demonstration or hobby system

      Canadian model The most obvious difference is the cabinet comes in which I talked about in the video and there might be some different programming options for Canada

      The 320c comes all in one encloser and is designed for no panel models other than a network card and two ACM24 annunciator. The 320SYS is what he has and can be put in different sized cabinets.

      Personally I don’t see a use for the 320SYS. I guess they can be a retrofit for the newer system 500s but I think people would just install a regular 320 instead. I would rather have a compact NFS2-640 instead (like the Siemens MXL-IQ). I think it’s too late since the inspire series is almost there to be released.
