As a lesbian...this movie is so absolutely REFRESHING. Old Dolio and Melanie just connect. There's no discussion about it, there's no coming out story, there's no drama about it. They just work through Old Dolio's relationship with her parents, and then smoothly go into their own romance and I am absolutely in love with it.

If I were to hear an ear piercing, window shattering, joyful cry echoing from one end of this great land to another, I would know that Miranda July had Just been offered a shot at writing and directing the next Mission:Impossible film.
Don't wanna be a killjoy, but the MI series is ending with Dead Reckoning Part 2 directed by Christopher McQuarrie in 2024.

I'm pretty sure early on old dolio's father said he didn't want to be a kajillionaire he just wants to skim or something like that

In the script - Dad says to Oldolio “Everybody wants to be a kajillionaire. Me, I like to skim”

If I may add, although a bit late, "kajillionaire" can also be referred to when you're talking about something absurd to attain. Something like "oh if you're gonna sell your first painting tomorrow you're gonna become a millionaire" which is absurd. You can easily replace the word "millionaire" with "kajillionaire" to make it sound really abstract. IMO, the movie's title is reffering to obtaining things that seem impossible to obtain. If you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about.
