Such a peculiar and beautiful movie. Soundtrack was perfect too.
Btw as far as I understand, Melanie was actually kind of glad that Dolio's parents decided to steal everything, because that meant Dolio wouldn't get back to her parents. Melanie also didn't really care about the material things she had, since most of the stuff she had was weird products her mom had bought her, and she was tired of it all. She didn't find much value in material things, but she found all value in her love and Dolio. She was actually happy that she won't lose Dolio, and they could be together. that's all that matters, and Dolio no longer feels a need to run away from the love either.
I loved this movie. Especially its closing scene.
I have had this song stuck in my head for the past week, and now it will be stuck in my head for another week. 😆
This director should make more films. She is very talented.

I saw the trailer and thought it’d be pretty quirky and kinda funny…. but it ended up being a great story ! ERW has always been a great talent, but has been wasted many times.
If you like great writing, realistic substance, and amazing acting…. Kajillionaire is on the money! 👍👍👍👍

Everytime you witness actors acting w/o saying a word-it’s the magic we’re all dialed-in for. Lots of incredible casting & set/tonality nuances in Kajillionaire. Debra freaking Winger??!? Ya didn’t want to trust Jenkins as the father w/any of your empathy… that “wake-up” scene in the emptied apartment-my stomach dropped & my anger swelled until I realized the true prize was the love the couldn’t be stolen or swindled. Standing O to July, ERW, Rodriguez (Brad Pitt as an Exec Producer!?) - they put it all out there together and it shows.💸🫧🧾🛒
GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a dark comedy. which indeed brings alot of the problems many lesbians endure in a very clever way.
